Fun atmosphere and good food. We visited on a Saturday early evening and even though it was crowded we had a short wait. They have a good selection of beer and I tried the Grapefruit Shine which I really enjoyed. I had the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich. It was a fried chicken breast on a roll with bacon, cheese and Old Bay aioli. Three of us ordered this and we all thought it was really tasty and my husband enjoyed his Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. But be warned it is messy. So yes food was good so why the four stars instead of five unfortunately it was our service. Even though we ordered our appetizer, a Bavarian pretzel ahead of time it did not come out until our meal. And yes this can be timing from the kitchen. But we hardly saw our server, her section for the evening was so spread out that she was not attentive to us. We will still go back just hoping our service will be better. read more

We don't get down to this part of Maryland much in our personal vehicles or in the truck but this week we went where the money reside. And because we are a Responsible Professional Company we were on-site 15 hours early. Imagine my delight when I saw that the receiving building shared a lot with a brewery teehee. Truck stop tacos for dinner? - I think not. Now in other reviews you know how I feel about breweries without food. Not the case here - pizzas, sandos, pretzels, salads, wings. And the beer list?? Multiple sours for me, hazy IPAs for he, and pumpkin flavored beer to usher in autumn. After that huge setup all we got were fries and beer lmao. The point is we COULD HAVE gotten more if we wanted it. Fries were hot and crispy. The pumpkin beer was incredible. And of note, the actual restaurant space was huge. With Rona numbers on the rise, we opted to sit outside on the huge patio. All in all, def worth a visit especially if you're in nearby Assateague or similar attractions and are tired of crabs lol. read more

Awesome beer! Average food..... Yep, I had a few amazing beers here. I tried several varieties of stouts and one IPA; they were all top notch. Ordered a Korean Beef BBQ Bowl. What was that bowl I got? Ground beef and rice? Honestly, it tasted fine, but it was nothing like the description, or anything from Korea.... If you've had any Korean style beef, you will be quite disappointed Tried some pizza from my friend's plates.... The only good one had a layer or arugula on top. There was a dead fly inside the Chicken Wrap. I wasn't going to leave a review because mistakes happen and we've been to Burnish before -- even left a five star review last year. However, management's response to a ruined meal was unacceptable. To make a long story short: at no point did the manager come over to apologize or offer to make things right. When the bill arrived, there was no discount -- just a line item noting the chicken wrap had been removed. Eventually (~ 15 minutes) the manager came over and begrudging removed two of our appetizers from the bill. She seemed inconvenienced and annoyed by the whole thing. Hopefully Burnish takes steps to prevent the fly -- and the poor management response -- from happening again. read more

Beer - 5, Excellent selection of beers, just be careful you keep an eye on the ABV rating, nothing on the list is less than 6% and the Arctic Vortex i was drinking is listed at 10.5%! Food - 4, So my food (wings) was a three, but my wife's BLT salad + crispy chicken was a 5. The wings were way over cooked, skin dry and crispy and so was the meat on the wings. And i swear i tasted freezer burn on the wings. Atmosphere - 3, nothing really stands out as special in this regard. Not a bad thing but average is average and i can live with that. Overall - 4, The Excellent service and good beer saved this review from a 3 rating. Wife and I are going to give it another shot, not ordering wings again, and see if a better score warranted. Suggestions, curb a couple min off the wings, coffee should be a beverage choice. read more

I have been to this place so far on two occasions once on a Tuesday night and once on a Wednesday night both times and the place was packed Tuesday nights are trivia nights at Burnish beer. The building and surrounding property/patio is well designed an open plan which makes it easy to mingle with other customers or your friends and neighbors the beer brewed there is very good and they make great pizza. I highly recommend this place and I do intend to return for more delicious beer and pizza! read more

My boyfriends family and I came here following his sisters grad school commencement. We were in a party of about 8 and all of us were quite pleased! My boyfriend and I ordered the pizzas which were amazing. The size is perfect for one and we still took a couple remaining slices as leftovers. The rest of the table got salad, chorizo pizza, fish tacos, and the chicken sandwich. The fish tacos and chicken looked so good. Chicken was a good size and the fish tacos, too! I believe they were cod. They had what looked like a good slaw and lime wedge on one of those cute metal taco trays. The family all had great things to say about their food! Chorizo Pizza: You can tell the chorizo is fresh! Very flavorful pizza with crust cooked perfectly so that it wasn't soggy nor was it TOO crisp or burnt. The sauce was super flavorful. Classic pizza: My boyfriend had this and loved it! This was his favorite (but I argue the chorizo is the best). This was also super good, and I loved that the pepperonis are large slices versus the tiny dinky ones that tend to crisp too much when cooked. Very flavorful! Pretzel app: The table raved about the pretzel appetizer! It was more of like a braided bread shape, but it was easy enough for sharing between the group. It was soft with a firm and perfectly cooked outside. The cheese was amazing and the mustard was too! Drinks: Great selection of beer. A good few of us love sours and they had a few to choose from. The one I ordered was fantastic, but they also have cocktails! (No grenadine available, though, if you're looking for something specific.) Environment: Very cool rustic/farm/industrial vibes indoors. Plenty of TVs for people to keep up with their sports and a huge bar area for people who want to come for a casual drink. The outside had a little turf area with tables. Solid 90s alternative/rock music playing which definitely fits the vibe. Cute holiday decor around for the seasonal feel, too. We were seated by one of those "garage doors" that bars can open for a big indoor/outdoor feel. Would love to experience that in the summer! Many customers of different kinds between people solo, in couples, or families with kids. Service: The service was spectacular. We had about 2-3 servers making sure we were all set and had everything we needed. So friendly and helpful! The chef seems to be experimenting with some recipes so we did receive a cheesecake egg roll maybe as a congratulations. It sounds like it might one day make it on the menu and they want to see how it's received. The whole table LOVED it! HIGHLY recommend Burnish! Really cool place! Set off a little on its own, just off of Rt 13, in somewhat of an industrial area. Plenty of seating and games outside, and inside was quite roomy as well. Stopped in for a weekday lunch with two guests. We split a hot wing appetizer which didn't last long-they we're really good. We all got iced teas, and beware, the soft drinks are in small cups. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, my guests ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza and a salad-all were very good and came out fairly quickly. Reasonable pricing and great service, just wish it wasn't during work so I could've tried their beer! I will surely be returning to this place! read more

This absolutely the worst KITCHEN service I have ever had in my whole life. 6 meals. 3 came out at a reasonable pace. The 4th meal came out 15 minutes later. The next 20 minutes later. The 6th a child's pizza 15 minutes after that. My poor daughter had to wait and watch us eat. No structure. The food is great and the drinks too. I would definitely hesitate to come back. Came to Burnish Beer Co. to support my friends dad who plays corn hole every Thursday. Burnish is a fairly new spot in town with a modern meets rustic atmosphere. Thursday's they have orange crushes on special. They make the orange juice in a press which is a nice touch. The drinks taste amazing. I have had wings here before. Mmmm tasty but they are mid range for pricing. There pizzas are pretty awesome too. hopefully they work on getting an expanded happy hour in the future. the bartender Brian who was overall pretty friendly and has good friendly comebacks when my friend got on him about the slow service. As he is the only bartender serving a bunch of custom drinks it's understandable. looking forward to seeing how it grows. Second time here and it hasn't let me down yet! The atmosphere is always very chill. Outdoor seating is unfortunately directly in the sun!! But it's still fresh and brand new looking. Inside is west coast beach style. Spicy Orange Wings - 4/5 - maybe the juiciest wings in the area! Very mild flavor. Buffalo chicken sandwich with frites - 4/5 - honestly tasted like shake shack. No problem there. THE FRIES DO NOT SLEEP ON! They are such a hit!!!! Beer - 5/5 - sorry can't remember the name. Pineapple marshmallow smoothie greatness. I could throw back many of these. Only issue is service. First time I went it was complete garbage. Waitress forgot multiple orders. Food was forgotten. Waitress never checked in. Second time was a world different. Waitress was on us, in a good way. Polite yet not pushy. For came out correct and witching reasonable time. Definitely will be one of our regular stops. read more

Burnish opened in the fall of '21. We shared an appetizer of the Bavarian pretzel with grainy mustard and beer cheese with the flight of "Burnish Beers". We were not a fan of the Bavarian pretzel which tasted extremely bland with very little flavor. We fought over the small plastic ramekins of cheese and mustard unfortunately the ramekins did not yield enough to flavor the pretzel (see pic the tiniest ramekins ever). The wings were good and well covered in sauce, and I definitely want to come back and try the "Pearalell Pizza", a pizza with pears, prosciutto, goat cheese, and mozzarella. There were 16 beers to choose from ale to lagers to IPA's. I enjoyed 2/4 of the flight of beers "The Sky is Yelling" and "Through the Never". My friend enjoyed the "One Trick Pony" fruited sour beers "Berries and Cream" and "Cherry Vanilla". The restaurant has an Industrial design with open concept with lots of bar stools, hanging pendant lighting and rustic feel. The garage doors open up to give lots of natural light. The restaurant was super clean with plenty of servers who make the customer feel welcome. read more

This was my first time at Burnish Brewery. We went for Sunday brunch. Service was truly outstanding--our waitress was attentive without being intrusive, friendly, and efficient. She was awesome :) I wanted a combination of hot chocolate and coffee. She heated up a small bottle of chocolate milk, a cup of coffee and a separate cup to combine them. It was perfect! Unfortunately the Belgian waffles tasted like cardboard and had the same consistency. As we were leaving, I told her that I wouldn't get them again. She suggested breakfast scramble for next time. Also, it is quite noisy with lots of sports tv's and a large open warehouse sort of space. However when we asked for a quiet spot they did give us a table back in a corner that was quieter. Bottom line-- I'll give it another chance and check out the other breakfast dish. read more

I had their pretzel to share with my wife as an alley loser and it was large, tasty, and came with good servings of both their beer cheese and mustard. We also shared their fish tacos along with their blueberry wings (I know it sounds weird but it was incredibly tasty) for our meals and all were fantastic. The fries had a unique sweet taste and the lime cilantro ranch was so good, next time I want to ask for that for all 3 dipping sauces (I also liked the maple mustard but the sriracha ketchup just tasted like ketchup). The pizza was great and I can't wait to try the other ones they have. There was a nice selection of beers on tap but only 5 available for their flight, which were mostly IPAs. The staff was nice and easily approachable and the food did not disappoint. Situation the north end of salisbury, at the end of Northwood drive, an unlikely spot for such fun, sits Burnish. Really great to visit now that the weather is improving- they had the big doors open for lots of fresh air. Service is decent.
