I had heard good things about the pizza, so I wanted to try it as I'm in town visiting relatives for a few days. We walk in around 7, place is half full, we're handed menus after a few minutes, and then, nothing. Came here when they opened and staff seemed annoyed. We got a small bruschetta pomodoro pizza, small cheese with bacon, and a small cheese with basil, roasted garlic and spicy Italian sausage. Here's a great reason why locally owned restaurants fail. Pathetic customer service. Walked in & was told to sit in the bar. Decided to wait for a high table. After 15 minutes, found a high table and sat. After another 10 minutes another waitress shows up asks us to leave. Informs that there's a 40 minute wait and that we need to register name & number. The first host could have explained the protocol, taken the name & number for the waitlist. After waiting 25 minutes in the restaurant, the second waitress asks us to follow her. Takes down name and number. Says another 40 minutes of waiting. If the employees do not know what they doing, customers suffer. I give the info & then walk out. The way you treat customers is key for any successful restaurant. Even if the food is marginal or just okay, if one is treated well you can expect repeat business. Not here. All I say is if you want to ill treated, disrespected and insulted, please make this as your go to place. A typical Eastern Shore racist shithole with bad attitude and poor manners. Customers choose where to spend their money. Certainly if you are person of color stay far away. They will ensure that you are invisible, unwanted and ignored. I hope they shut down soon. Most of us got the lunch special for $8.50 a small cheese pizza and fresh cut fries (Boardwalk style). The pizza crust is thin and crispy with the perfect chew. The quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the toppings make "Specific Gravity's" pizza the best. If you have a refined palate, try the "Greek pizza" with Kalamata olives, white sauce, basil pesto and artichokes. A few weeks ago, I ate in, and the wings are still the best in the 'Bury most especially the dry rub "Key Largo". Pint night is still Wednesdays, and you get to keep the glass! Always a good day here. Normally I go for the General Tso's pizza but, today for lunch I went with the Buffalo chicken wrap. Never been able to get here for a beer but I definitely want one everytime I crest that threshold . Those craft beer taps stare me down like distant lovers. It's really a cool spot and the waitresses have always been attentive and fun to interact with. There is plenty of parking along the side of the building and even street parking. Had lunch here on a sat afternoon on the way to Assateague Island. The place was packed, but we were able to find a table immediately. Just find an empty table and sit. Our server was great. We got 1. Garlic Bread (4.5/5) 2. We got half of General Tso's and The Greek. The first was excellent and I highly recommend it. The second had a lot of Olives. 3. Spinach Calzone (4/5) not my favorite it was cheesy and was little on the bland side. The drinks on the other end were great. I am not sure what I got but it was great. I came--and the place was PACKED on a weeknight, which I saw as a good first sign. This place has a definite bar vibe; it's a beer place that also serves food. As it was crowded and seating was limited due to the amount of people, I grabbed a spot at the bar. Second good sign: the beer list. It was MASSIVE! So many options and a lot of them local. Definitely like the try the local brews when visiting a new area. I settled on the RAR Nanticoke Nectar (IPA) and was very happy. They have many options and a beer on the list for anyone's taste. This was my first time trying Specific Gravity Pizza. Since I do not drive I had a friend of mine order me a large sausage pizza and pick it up. First when i order a sausage pizza I do not want it to be covered in green peppers. Never asked for them. Hate green peppers. Now the sauce was pretty flavorful and the sausage, what there was of it was also good. Now the pizza crust was cracker thin. Normally when it is like this it has zero, or very little flop. When you did get a slice picked up you better have a napkin handy because it pointed south quickly. And some of the actual crust was burnt. That is not a bad thing to me but when it is too much it does detract from the quality. And who ever cut my pizza must be as vision impaired as i am. Not a single slice was even close to the same size.. It is possible they were just having an off day because my friends pizza was no better. So i am going to wait a while and probably try this again. But i defiantly expect a better pie for the price. read more

The dough is nice and thin, however huge parts are not covered with sauce or cheese, ended up with a huge crust. Crust is unevenly baked, too crunchy to eat and I usually like to eat the crust. I wasn't able to eat a large portion of the pie because it is just dry crust. The sauce had a nice fresh herbal flavor and the cheese is good, I wish it was more evenly baked and distributed. read more

My husband and I used to come here all the time back when we started dating (5+ years ago) and it was amazing. Today I was so unbelievably disappointed in the food. I ordered garlic knots and it was bread in a bowl of BUTTER. No taste of garlic, it literally tasted like butter and a little bit of bread, it was horrible. Then I ordered a brownie sunday and the brownie tasted like burnt chocolate, like it was heated up too long. I was just really disappointed. The only good thing was the server, she was amazingly sweet and attentive. And to top all of that off, I am fat, I know I'm fat, those booths are NOT for fat people. There was no room between myself and the table and holding my 5-month-old was almost impossible. But anyways, I am now sitting here, with my stomach all upset because I ate a months worth of butter on those garlic knots, never again. The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars was because the server was amazing. She was so sweet, I didn't say anything to her because it obviously isn't her fault the food was terrible. Yes, I get that you are busy on the weekends (Saturday) but I placed the order over an hour ago and have two hungry kids at home ready to begin our family pizza/movie night. Shouldn't my virtual order put me in some cue that ensures I am not superseded by dine-in customers? So why am I leaving such a positive review? Despite having to wait 45 minutes longer than expected, a conscientious decision-maker not only apologized but provided me with an extra pizza and a gift card for the wait. I recognize the challenge allergies represent when trying to order food at a restaurant, but AT LEAST try to pretend you care; trust me, it actually goes along way! The girl behind the counter was on the phone (taking an order), did not acknowledge me (even with eye contact), then, after the call ended, proceeded to help people other than me without so much as a word.
