Celebrated my father in laws 65th birthday here Saturday night. Staff was very friendly and made our experience great! Our host, Molly, made things so much fun with great competing games and was our cheerleader. Would definitely recommend going there with a group!!

My coworkers and I went to Bury the Hatchet in Horsham for our work holiday "team building" night out. We were set up in our lane right away and greeted by our "axe master" Josh. He had a great attitude, was a lot of fun, and made us all feel comfortable right away. The facility is really nice, clean, and there is plenty of room to hang out with a nice big table in each lane for food and drink. We weren't sure what to expect with the actual axe throwing, but Josh set us up with games and activities to do the axe throwing and was patient and fun with helping us through each one. The actual facility is a little off the beaten path, and definitely worth looking for!!!! I highly recommend this Bury the Hatchet location, and Josh as your axe master!

    Axe throwing ready!

I think I just had the BEST burger I've had in a dogs age. For reals!…read moreWe had a long day driving back from Cape cod and wanted not to deal with cooking something for supper. Most familiar places were closed, it being Monday so we took to Google to see what our options were. We just wanted burgers. Nothing fancy. We got seated right away and got to peruse the menu. Simple and to.the point. More than reasonable prices for how excellent the food is. Nothing over $20 on the menu. Seriously. I got the maple bbq burger. Now, the only note I have is the bacon could've been crispier. Other than that, it was juicy, full of flavor, cooked perfectly and all elements worked in harmony. The bbq sauce wasn't too sweet or ketchup-y like some and the maple bacon was YUM. My mom got the cheese burger with cooper sharp and it was heavenly. The tomatoes were just bursting with flavor. The decor is geared towards music. We had an old pic of Sonny & Cher with Bob Dylan. It was hard to look at given how changed Cher is from her um... enhancements. The ceiling is covered with old concert.posters & it was a hoot picking all of the ones I LURVE out (old Bowie poster.from the 70s to start). There are TV screens EVERYWHERE with ALL current games showing. I could watch a baseball game while the.flyers were hopefully beating Pittsburgh.(Sorry to all da burgh fans) Just a fun place for great food & drink. They have a trivia night, bingo.nite, happy hour etc. Highly recommend!

I had never been so I was excited to try it out and even happier than I discovered there was no wait around 7:00 pm. We started with cocktails and the crab Rangoon rolls, which arrived super fast and hot. They were crispy little egg rolls filled with a savory, rather than your typical sweet, Rangoon filling. For our entrees my friend and his daughter got burgers while I did the short rib melt. The bacon smash burger that my friend got was so good! I love a bacon jam and this one paired so well with the flavors in this burger. The short rib melt was good and the waffle fries were crispy. The only thing that was a little off was the service. Our server was HUSTLING. She was not only taking care of us, she was bartending at the bar, which was far from our table. At one point I noticed she was carrying a huge rack of drinking glasses from the kitchen and putting them all away in the bar. The restaurant wasn't super busy, but we waited a good 35 minutes for the check. Our server though seemed to be working really hard and was busy the whole time we saw her in the dining area. She was VERY sweet though. I would definitely come back.

Look, I don't know how these folks aren't already listed in Yelp but allow me to introduce you to…read morethem. Charm City Trivia are the #1 most professional, entertaining, friendly, competitive, and respected trivia team in the area. While they're more focused toward the Baltimore area (duh) they do reach down into PG and Howard counties (see the map I included). I've been going to their location at Maple Lawn (Looney's) for about a month or so now and I can tell you that they're amazing. The questions range from the pretty easy ("What movie featured a car with the license plate, "OUTATIME"?) to the pretty difficult ("Name the three capitals of South Africa."). The questions show up on screens throughout the facility and the announcer is very easily heard without being obnoxious. [An added bonus is that the food at Looney's is pretty darn good!] The format is: 6 rounds of questions 3 questions per round 5 (I think) toss up questions (these are numerical questions where the closest to the answer wins) 1 final question (the only one where you can lose points) Each round has three different amounts you can assign to an answer (if you're positive of an answer you assign it the highest number). If you're wrong, you don't lose those points...except for the final question which you can wager up to 40 points. Big swings in team position can happen in the final question. I cannot encourage you strongly enough to try out a location that is hosting Charm City Trivia. Check their website and see the zillions of times and places that they're running a game. Trust me, you'll have a blast even if you come in last place like my team did last night.

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the exceptional customer service I…read morereceived yesterday. The short rib nachos have always been one of my favorites, but with such a generous portion, I usually need to reheat them later--which unfortunately tends to make them quite soggy. Yesterday, I called to ask if it would be possible to have the chips on the side. Not only did someone from the kitchen call me back to verify what I wanted, but the woman I spoke with was incredibly attentive. She wanted to ensure she understood my request, and when I explained that I would like everything kept separate--even though I knew it might be a hassle--she reassured me that it was absolutely no problem. I've tried the bake-at-home option before, but the cheese still ends up on the chips, which doesn't solve the sogginess issue. This time, everything was packed separately, and for the first time, I was able to fully enjoy this delicious menu item without anything getting soggy. It was genuinely wonderful, and I thought you should know that this level of care truly went above and beyond. Thank you again for making my dining experience outstanding. It's small details like these that make a big difference, and I appreciate the dedication to customer satisfaction.

I personally hate that shit, if I am being a fool I would like the opportunity to hit the wall and learn for my self. Another mention that I have to detail is legit the bathroom was one of the worst kept bathrooms I have ever seen. It looks like a bathroom out of your high school but never attended to. The arcade looks fairly decent however my nephews that attempted to have some fun at the arcade said most of the games were out of order. Although I personally enjoyed myself as this was a new experience racing a go-kart I have to advise you should go to a different spot for this activity. We initially wanted to go to Arnold's Fun Center in Oaks, PA to race but they recently changed the hours and that is why we ended up at this location. Also, be careful if you pay in cash as I received the wrong change and they had to get the manager involved in how to break a $100 dollar bill. If you do choose to pay credit card they will charge you an added fee btw. As always people SYOY!!!

If not, other people will be apart of your race. The food options are CRAPPY. Definitely eat before you go. They have a couple of "arcade" games for kids but they are definitely out of date. The rock climbing wall was closed when I went. Not sure if it's a seasonal thing or not. There is a one membership fee when you sign up. Not really beneficial if you don't plan on going multiple times a year. Overall, this place needs some updates if it wants to keep people coming. There are more fun places to go.
