My brother stays w/ her and I went over for the appt - and a no show/no call. Around 9:45 I called their office to ask where Tom was. To summarize, Tom never showed, never apologized, left a msg at my home number when we were at my mom's home and although I returned his call asking for an explanation at least, have never heard from him - OR funeral director David. Appalling that I've got a 91 yo waiting to sign for how her remains will be disposed of (her request btw) and we sit around for 45 minutes for nothing. But never mind the call back. I wouldn't leave my mom's remains in the custody of this pathetic "society" or their unprofessional, incredibly uncaring staff.

So I feel the need to talk about what happened on the 18th of June with Busch Funeral and…read moreCrematory Services so another family member doesn't have to go thru what I went thru, now with that being said the day before father day I went to Busch to get Masons ashes into a necklace, well the guy took my ashes and went back to his desk..... his desk like his work desk I looked at him like he was crazy well he opened my bear that holds my ashes and and proceeded to TRY and pour them in it, key word TRY he spilled my sons ashes all over the desk!!!!! I grabbed the necklace off of him and told him that's enough, as I'm closing the necklace this man starts brushing MY SONS ASHES ON THE FLOOR!!!!!!! I LITERALLY GOT ON MY HANDS AND KNEES PICKING UP PIECES OF MY SONS BONES AND ASHES OFF THE FLOOR!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY I COULDNT GET ALL OF IT BUT I DAMN WELL TRIED!!! I scrapped what I could off the desk into another box, so my sons ashes arent even all together right now! I left balling my eyes out, not being able to breathe, reliving the entire situation of having a still born baby in the first place! It took 3 years for me to even be okay with opening up the bear to get ashes out of it!!! THREE YEARS FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!!!!! This man didn't even say sorry!!!! I called the owner of the funeral home just to be offered another necklace or keepsake.? Nahhh that man should have lost his job!!!!! Why did he even feel comfortable to do that!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK TO BUSCH AGAIN!!!!! I need an attorney that knows what he is doing!!!!!!!!! This is wrong in so many ways it's ridiculous!!!! Something needs to happen!!!!

Shady sales tactics, ignoring very clearly stated budgets and unwilling to give clear pricing on…read morethings until already vulnerable, grief stricken people have their hearts set on something they can't afford. Don't parade us around the grounds showing us plots, extolling their virtues and avoiding our questions about cost when you know full well it's 4x our previously stated budget. And quit using the line "this is forever" when people take their time to consider the costs. It's demeaning and manipulative. I wouldn't want my family to sacrifice their quality of life for my quality of death. I have never felt so ignored and taken advantage of.
