Went from 40,500 to 41,500 to 42,000 bought the truck from them despite this due to the mileage for the year and the salesman was great. However truck got shipped. Came with numerous body defects not disclosed for the money and dry rotted tires couldn't pass inspection then detailer found paint work not show on the carfax. Please think twice before buying a vehicle from Bush Auto Place in Wilmington, OH. My husband bought a truck from them that turned out to be a complete lemon within the first month. It broke down, needed a torque converter, and they kept it over a month for repairs. That was just the beginning. Since then, we've taken it back over and over for issues they "couldn't figure out." TWICE, my husband and our small children were stranded in the middle of an intersection coming on to a highway -- their lives literally at risk!!. Every time, the truck was in the shop for weeks and weeks, with no loaner vehicle ever offered -- even though my husband runs a 2-man remodeling business and relies on his truck to feed our family. We did everything we were told to do to maintain our powertrain warranty -- even driving an hour away just for oil changes at Bush. ALWAYS making sure we don't lapse in mileage!! They never once said we were over mileage. NOT once. But suddenly, after all this time and all these visits, they say we've lapsed and are no longer covered. Why? Because we had ONE recent oil change done elsewhere -- because we were at our ends wits with them so we called THEIR OWN insurance company that told it was ALLOWED! Then -- the final blow -- after all the back and forth, in ONLY 4 days of just having it they finally admit we need a new transmission and motor. When they've kept it for months before, The same thing we told them from month one it needed! NOW that they know WE need these replaced they're excuse it that we lapsed in mileage and that their insurance gave us false information!?! I mean come on! We've been patient. We've prayed. We've shown Grace. But we're now looking at going into deeper debt just to replace a truck we still owe so much on -- all because Bush Auto Place failed us. I asked him after knowing all that we've been through. How are you OK with selling a vehicle like that?. His exact words were " we can't tell what's wrong with it by just looking on the outside." So that tells me that they don't run diagnostics or properly inspect their vehicles before reselling them. The salesman was nice enough and the car was nice enough. The sales manager wasted tons of our time, trying to force us into an extended warranty that we told him at the beginning we were not interested in. He said he had to go over every different type or he would get in trouble, but the big complaint is that I went to cosign for my daughter so the loan would be in her name and he put the loan in my name in order to secure a lower rate and lied to us and told us it was the same thing. Took my 2018 Equinox in for oil change and tire rotation today. When you take your car to be serviced, you TRUST that the service will be done. How can you be sure all the services were done? After about 45 minute, I was told car was ready. Paid the exorbitant bill. Went to leave, discovered that tires were NOT rotated, I know this because I marked one tire, which was in the same location as when I left home. Wondering how much money a dealer can save by not rotating tires? What I thought would be a $60 service was over $90 for routine service. This is the second time that tires weren't rotated. Husband and I took a day off work and drove 3 hours one way to test drive a 2017 GMC Terrain with 66k miles I was advised went through an "extensive inspection" and had "no issues". Luke in sales points out the "capless" gas tank when we get there (we looked it up...definitely NOT a capless tank) and sends us on the road. Remote start didn't function, during test drive check engine light came on, also traction control light, and a "Service Stabilitrack" light...car was vibrating like a sketchy carnival ride. We left. What a colossal waste of time...save yourself the headache and take your money somewhere else. read more

I brought my car to Bush because it is next to my work and I thought, "can't hurt" Besides, it had a recall and at the minimum they would fix that but 4 hours after I dropped it off, they still couldn't figure out the problem and they weren't even smart enough to fix the recall. This is turning out to be the biggest joke of a dealership I've ever seen. read more

As far as service goes, they are inline with any other chevy dealership. You have a descent waiting room with coffee, water, and popcorn. The wait is about average. The reason I chose to go here had to do with distance from my house. read more

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT TEAM! I just got a bad taste of how the BUSH AUTO sales manager handled the whole car buying process............ I thought going to a small town dealership would be a better experience than in a city, I was DEAD WRONG! The Bush auto dealership are like all the other auto dealerships..... I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. The sales associate was fantastic however the sales manager or your finance manager was down right rude and very aggressive.  Whoever the sales associate has to talk to about making a deal, That guy.  All we were trying to do is make a deal on a 2021 Chevy High Country. A $70,000 vehicle. And we were also considering buying a 2008 Toyota FJ as a second car. We were in the waiting area and as my better half was getting the VIN off the Chevy. I asked the sales associate about the price on the FJ. He stated the price is according to the issues that it currently has. One issue was the parking brake did not work. He was told that there is no law in Ohio to have a parking brake. Well he was wrong. I have copied and pasted below the law. The after we got the VIN we put it in the google and check what would be a good barganing number on the truck. The sales associate told us to give him a number. So we did and then all of a sudden the "Manager" comes out of his office, very aggressively, slams down the paper that the sells associate took him and very aggressively and loud states "This is my offer" then turns around and stomps away. My impression at that moment, SHOCKED (wait, what just happened here????), DISRESPECTED, SALES MANAGER HAD SHOWN ALOT OF SPITE TO ME AND JUST FELT DISAPPOINTED. First off, there is no need to get upset about the customer trying to get a FAIR and REASONABLE price.  The dealership has a price to make money and the customer has a (Vauto) market price resourse to make a reasonable and fair offer. And telling me that there is no law that requires a parking brake was way out of line.  I was there to purchase two different vehicles and this is the type of treatment I receive.  That is very, very sad.  Ohio law is as follows:4513.20 Brake equipment for vehicles.Since we are talking about a vehicle only I have taken out the other sections.  (7) Every vehicle and combination of vehicles, except motorcycles and motorized bicycles, and except trailers and semitrailers of a gross weight of less than two thousand pounds, and pole trailers, shall be equipped with parking brakes adequate to hold the vehicle on any grade on which it is operated, under all conditions of loading, on a surface free from snow, ice, or loose material. The parking brakes shall be capable of being applied in conformance with the foregoing requirements by the driver's muscular effort or by spring action or by equivalent means. Their operation may be assisted by the service brakes or other source of power provided that failure of the service brake actuation system or other power assisting mechanism will not prevent the parking brakes from being applied in conformance with the foregoing requirements. The parking brakes shall be so designed that when once applied they shall remain applied with the required effectiveness despite exhaustion of any source of energy or leakage of any kind.   So telling me that one of the vehicles I was looking at does need a parking brake is completely incorrect. read more

I took my car to Bush based on recommendations from friends. They diagnosed the problem, which was entirely different from the first gm shop I took it to. I didn't have 1500.00 laying around so I called about a month later and asked to bring it in to be fixed. I was told they would order the part and call me back. I called them 2 days later and left a voicemail for "John", asking if they'd gotten the part yet . No response....ever. That was approx. 6 wks. ago. Bush Auto (Wilmington, OH) has chosen not to warranty my car. They said that the responsibility rests upon the GM dealership that sold the car to me. Now I have to call them to see if they will help me. It should not have to go this far! I've spent 24 years in the US military and experienced numerous occasions where the actions of others became my responsibility. It is part of working in a team. I understand that these two dealerships are separate but they both represent GM. There is no continuity in commitment to quality and service. Because of this mentality of pointing the finger (It's their fault so they should fix it!), I'm stuck with the probability of paying for something that was missed in an inspection! I can not make sense of this. Absolutely frustrating! After speaking with Edwards Chevrolet (Birmingham AL.), nothing has changed. It appears that a grave mistake was made on my part in trusting any GM dealer to back a warranty that should clearly cover something that was missed by their "certified service". read more

the truck that you have, is better than two that could be but are not at the bush. had a 3 o clock appointment -figured to leave with a truck, had what i thought was a choice of two...internet sales and actual sales obviously do not talk.. lost 24 man hours, 185 in fuel, neither diesel truck was on the lot had a gasser there(didn't think they still made those), in fact passed one of them on the road as i was coming in 145921dec2017, the other i was told sold night before, 20 dec 2017. greg, the sales manager, tammi, internet sales, could not be bothered to place a call saying not to come, also greg did not have the cahonnes to tell me himself upon arrival, sent one of his lackies out. make sure you take your suit and tie, it is quite obvious that they don't care to cater to the working class of america, read more
