I am a hotshot driver who was picking up a load in Pennsylvania when my transmission stopped…read moreshifting and my truck wouldn't go out of 5th gear, far from home and in the middle of nowhere. So I started calling mechanics and the second one I called was Bill at Shadyside towing who told be to bring my truck in and he would look at it. And when he scanned it, at first his mechanic thought that the transmission, control module, and wiring harness all went bad and needed to be replaced, about $3000. So Bill took me to a hotel free of charge and said he would take care of my truck and trailer. That was that. I was helpless and getting ready to pay whatever it took to get my truck running again. Then Bill called the Ford dealership in the next town and they told him to let them look at it and reprogram the computer before he tears out the transmission and costs me a bunch of money. So that's what he did and Ford fixed my truck for free. And after all that, testing my truck, calling his transmission specialist, talking it to the Ford dealership and taking my truck to them, and test driving it to make sure it is fixed, he ONLY charged me $100 for all his time and effort! Now that's incredible!! I truly think that Bill is one of the LAST truly honest mechanics left in the United States! He is a rare person! And I would suggest that anyone within 100 miles of Shadyside, OH look him up and go to him if you have ANY trouble with your car. You will not find a better or more honest shop than his. It was there for days and we were told they don't know whats wrong with it. Took car to another shop to find out Shadyside towing put the thermostat on wrong and overcharged us. I tried talking on the phone regarding the issue. The owners son Brandon was extremely rude, cussed me out, called me names, and told me to come fight him. I am a female. I then personally went to the shop to obtain a receipt. The owner Bill refused to provide me with one, was extremely rude, called me a bitch and then pulled a gun out of his desk. I then informed him I was recording all this on video. He the grabbed me and pushed me out of the shop. A police report has been filed with the video. Please do not take your car here for your own safety!!!!!!

Then they lost my car keys and my appointment was originally scheduled for April 1st. Well they called and pushed it back 2 weeks. So my car finally gets dropped off on April 15th and they gave us a 2 week deadline until it was finished. Meanwhile I am stuck at home with a 3 month old baby and if something were to happen to him I'd have no way of getting him help.....my husband works everyday and they are very aware of our situation. So we made plans around that 2 week deadline and just got the call today that my car will in fact not be done by this weekend and Monday was the 2 week mark and we aren't even sure when it will be done.

I took the car back in because it was making a weird noise still and apparently that is what it was. my car is still making noises but we are taking it somewhere else because we just don't want to deal with them anymore.
