Decent prices compared to other laundromats in the area, but half the machines don't work. I use the PayRange app to pay for the machines, since it's easier than carrying change, but unfortunately it can be hard to get a working machine that shows up on the app. I believe only 2-3 dryers show up on the app, even though there are tons of dryers in there. So if someone else is using those dryers, I'm SOL. I'll probably continue doing my laundry there, but I wish they'd get the washers and dryers working and showing up on the PayRange app! read more

This location was really nice when it first opened. Now its just like most of the other businesses in the area. It's always dusty inside, the fake plants on the top of the walls are caked in a thick layer of dust. The top-loading machines are almost never working now, and lot of the front-loading machines are out of order too. Several of the dryers don't work either. I liked when I could pay just one quarter for 15 min of dry time because sometimes that was all i needed, now its 75c for 30ish min. Also, the vending machine for drinks doesn't work, the snack vending machine always gets food stuck and no one has the key for it so you're sol if that happens. The owner flat out refused to turn on the AC when it was over 90 degrees outside. The employee that works there is a total sweetheart though, she deserves better. read more

I paid for the fold wash and dry service I had 60lbs worth of clothes I did bring them 2:30 hours before closing she just told me she was go call me when I they ready so I left I went back right before the close time nothing washed an she said I bring in 60 lbs wroth of stuff it wasn't getting washed tonight which she should've said when I first got there she than told me to come back at 9 am I came at 9 they just started an told me to come back at 1:30 i than said I don't need them folded she than said come back in 1:30 mins this this the most inconvenient service ever the night worker is lazy Went back around 10:30 the lady half way fold most of them she was very sorry I'll be back but I hope they retrain the closer read more

It use to be nice and clean now it's like every other business in the area . Dirty not being taken care only one attendant that works there cleans which is ms Mary . And to top it off I keep seeing roaches now so I'm not going back no more . read more

Unless you are coming to use the Massage Chairs, avoid washing here. Just paid for $5 washer that the water trickles into and during a 32 minute wash cycle did not make one Sud. Put the washer on warm but it switched itself to cold and won't change back. Attendant knew the machine was a problem and sat and watched and said nothing until after I put the money in. My 2nd and last time here. Wasted 4 cups of detergent for nothing. Attendant said if I put it on wash it would have worked faster smh read more

Busy B Laundromat - Do you see any suds ? - Laundromat Near Me - Chicago Heights, Illinois

I have visited this business on 3 different occasions. Each time I add quarters to the washers I notice the first 1 or 2 quarters don't register. That happened during each visit. I tried to call the business number but the phone rings 2 times then hangs up... every time. They also have a shady attendant employed who literally put her foot over a couple dollars that my daughter accidentally dropped. My daughter told her that she dropped the money but the girl refused to move her foot. It's so hard to support small minority businesses when they don't behave professionally. read more

The attendant/manager Ms Hattie was so nice to me. Showing me around the laundromat. How to get change and where everything was located. Even though she was in the middle of tidying up around this already very clean establishment, she stopped what she was doing to assist me. Haven't been to the laundromat in years because I had a washer and dryer at home. But I recently moved and need to wash so I googled some locations and Busy B Laundromat popped up so I decided to try them out. I'm am beyond happy that I found them. The place was spotless,quiet and very nice. The laundry attendant Ashley was very helpful and attentive. She asked me if I needed any help and she made sure the machine and tables were clean at all times. Definitely will be back !!!! read more

I had ~250 lbs of laundry I needed to wash before moving into my new house, I chose Busy B's because it looked like there were a lot of machines and it looked well taken care of and had good reviews on google. I am new to the area and I felt very safe and welcome here. Hadde was very helpful answering questions and even unexpectedly helped my switch my laundry! She also gave me a punch card and informed me that the business is black-owned which made ne feel good about spending my money here! I didn't know which laundromat to choose, based on the reviews from Yelp for Busy B Laundromat and the excellent customer service over the phone I decided to come. It was a warm welcome from Ms. Hattie. I love that I can do my laundry in a clean and friendly facility.
