Other company that did install our roof retired so no longer available. Nonetheless were impressed by Penfolds (at the time), who were the runner up. Rude and disappointed by Jason's lack of professionalism. Won't be recommending to neighbours (three of them) who've been asking us for roofing suggestions now -- and will warn them instead!

The quote from Penfolds was on the higher side of the average, but we went with them because the quote was detailed and they were realistic about the unknowns (especially the carpentry work, since most of the issues were covered up and couldn't be assessed until the roof came off). The carpentry team was very thorough, communicative, and ended up getting the work done for far less than they originally told me it would cost. The roofing team was also excellent - polite and tidy, with good attention to detail. Everything was done on or ahead of schedule, and ended up being completed for *less* than the quoted price. Absolutely a 10/10 job!

Last month's windstorm brought the neighbor's tree down on the corner of my roof at 5am. Talk about…read morea rude awakening! It was a lot of tree, but the only real casualty was my gutters - knocked off both corners of the roof - and my big cedar hedge, which had a 4' wide furrow plowed through it. The insurance company sent out Dulay Roofing to repair the gutters, and they did a beautiful job. They were unable to match the profile of my 30 year old original gutters or old-school round downpipes, so it meant new gutters and downpipes all around. They went to extra effort to find material that colour-matched both, as I'd had the original gutters painted green and the downpipes painted tan. Very happy with the end result. Too bad they don't fix hedges!

Mills was the first to respond so we went with them, however another company came by (unannounced) and provided a quote that was $200 less. I showed this to Mills and they were able to knock $100 off and came out immediately. The crew was very kind and explained the extent of the work afterwards.
