GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I went this shop because I needed something done quick, last minute option. Next time I will just do without. This place smells awful! It smells like mildew and sour milk. It is very dirty! Outdated and over priced. I called and specifically asked for the price of a specific service, The nail tech rush in my nails. I assumed she wanted to go trick or treating. Gel polish all over my cuticles . When time to check out, I was charged a different price from what I was quoted originally. I've had different people get my nails done and every time I'm satisfied with the services and I asked them to have the nails then and they did exactly what I asked for so for nails I would give them 10 out of 10 but for eyelashes they are not good at all and I would give them one out of 10. Worst pedicure ever! My lady spent more time talking in her language to everyone else and getting up-and-down attending to everyone else then doing my pedicure. She filled my foot tub with luke warm water it was nearly cold. I got no leg massage no foot massage I left with salt scrub on my legs and polish on my the skin of my toes and all over my cuticles of my toenails and the worst part is I think she was the manager! I usually go to one place to get my nails done but decided to be adventurous and try a place down the street that I drive pass everyday. I walked in on Thursday and was greeted almost immediately. I was asked to pick my color and sat down. The man that did my nail I'm assuming is the manger kept looking out the window and did not guide me in no ways just kept pushing my arm and hand back. Then he shaped my nails ALL different shapes and lengths. When he finished I was okay with the paint job so I paid and left. Not even a day later the DIP I got started to chip off! I cut my nails short to avoid the chipping. I went in on the third day to see if they can fix the problem and I was told NO they can not because the man that did mine was not there and she was not the one to make the mistake and that I would need to inconvenience myself by coming in next Friday, for him to fix. I was very disappointed and will never go back, and I will make sure all my friends and family know. read more

I went and got a a simple pedicure here one day and yes the prices are regular, but the lady that did my toes literally cut 2 of my toes when she was cutting the cuticles. Also, you know how they spray alcohol on your toes after it's done, alllll my toes were stinging so bad when she did that. NEVER AGAIN!!! Hidden gem as far as nail salons go. The shop is great for several reasons: they have a huge selection of colors and that goes for shellac as well. All tools are sterile and all work stations are cleaned and sanitized. The staff is amazing and Andy is my Fav. I would suggest going during the week because the weekend is super busy. read more

Was friendly at first but then quickly became rude. Cut my fingers multiple times to the point of blood and was unapologetic and just brushed it off and tried to hide it. Nails are jagged,sharp and not straight. Asked for medium coffin nails and he told me my medium was considered "long". Rushed me when it came time to picking color and just very judgemental. Was paying more attention to other workers and what they were doing then doing my nails and was also on and off his phone while attending to me. Definitely would not return. read more

I went to this salon two weeks in a row, First week I paid 7.00 for a polish, thats it no fake nails notta I have my own, then one week later I go back to get the color changed because I brought my own polish, they charged me 10.00 for the exact same thing but this time with my own stuff!!! My new favorite hidden gem nail salon. It's very clean and they use disposable tools. I've had a gel manicure and pedicure about four times in the last few months and every time I'm so happy with the results. Haven't been to this nail salon in a couple of years. Went recently and now remember why I stopped going. The manager or whoever he is ( not the owner because I asked) is the rudest man I've ever dealt with. He acted like it was a huge inconvenience because I came in to get my nails and toes done. I would have left right then but I had my husband drop me off so I did not have my car. This rude little man started my pedi and I was so glad when he had someone else take over because he was very rough and was hurting my toes. No one in the salon was able to do any type of nail design. Said they didn't have anyone there that day that could do it. The design I wanted was just a basic simple design! The girl that finished my pedi and did my mani spoke absolutely no English whatsoever. I couldn't make her understand the color that I wanted so I eventually gave up and just let her do whatever. I stopped going here for a while because my last pedicure was painful. I decided to try it again, and this time, my pedicure was good. In a crunch, I let the girl wax my eyebrows. The wax was too hot and she rushed through it. I didn't feel as if I could tel her because the WHOLE TIME, she was talking to her coworkers. She waxed my eyebrows extremely thin and took a chunk out of one. That's the last time I give them business. I just moved to the area on Sunday and needed to find a good nail place. This salon came up as number 1, and I have to agree. It's nothing fancy-- even slightly hard to find, because it's in the Sweet Bay shopping center, which is located behind a smaller strip mall, but I will definitely go back. Cindy, my nail technician, was very friendly, and did a great job on my acrylics fill, toenail polish change, and eyebrow waxing. While older, the place seems clean and well-maintained. After moving back to Brandon almost two years ago, I tried several nail salons before finding Busy Nails. I have not used anyone else since. Maria does a very professional job and I could not be happier. Andy is a hoot and always makes me laugh. The whole staff is pleasant and Rosie does a fantastic pedicure. And the prices are more affordable than other salons I have tried. Yes it is a small shop, but clean and even when busy, they make you feel very comfortable. Disappointed with the service I received all the way around. Have been coming to this salon off and on for a couple years. Some times were great and others not as good. Yesterday will be my last time. Called ahead of time for an appointment. The owner Andy sat me down right away but didn't start the water for my pedicure until 15 minutes later. Was continually distracted and bit off more than he could chew trying to multitask too much stopping multiple times to answer the phone, take messages, greet customers, attend to others, ask questions, fold towels, socialize etc. The salon was not even that busy at the time. Not to mention he was playing loud dance/electronic music. Not something I want to listen to when I am wanting a relaxing and calm environment. When it came to the cheese grater, he hurriedly started without putting lotion on the bottom of my feet and ended up cutting a large layer of skin. I started bleeding profusely. He was apologetic but I feel like the issue was avoidable. My deluxe pedicure consisted of a 2 minute leg massage. I will return back to k's luxury nails where I have received stellar service every time despite being further from my home. read more
