The server got these right out of the fryer and they were hot. The dipping sauces were a great addition and bother were very tasty and compliments the rings. My entree was a hand breaded tenderloin. Again, the breading was well seasoned and the tenderloin was a good thickness. It came with all the trimmings which were fresh. One thing to note was the lettuce was cold and crisp...this is a huge plus with me. The side dish for the tenderloin were potato slabs. These slabs were like a fried potato thickness but were very lightly breaded. I'd not had anything like these before. I wasn't a real fan of these things but they were different. Just not my thing. Hers was very large and did not look appetizing because of all if the jalapeño seeds floating in it. She was unable to drink it, it was too hot. Everyone in our party took sips out of it trying to get her money's worth but it just wasn't good. I ordered pollo rancho. It was good. I can't say I was blown away by the food but it was fine, a decent enough value for the price. I have no complaints about the food or the service. I can't say there was anything super special about this restaurant, but considering the area and not having too many choices, I appreciated this option being there and it was fine.
