Second time I have been here . Fries were excellent Service was great It's okay not the best but it will do. I am limited to what I can eat so I am sure there is plenty of good food. Really neat restaurant inside

We were passing by the area and stop there for quick lunch. It's a simple small place (5 booths and about 10 tables I guess + bar area) We happen to visit during the holidays, so I'm not sure if te place is always that full , but I suggest to make a reservation , as the wait list is quite long. The servise is quite slow ( as we got silverware 10 min later than our food arrived ) We had ribeye steaks ( you have a choice of 2 sides) our daughter had chicken tenders &fries and the Fred had a sandwich with home made chips. I enjoyed the tasty Bloody Mary and friend had a beer. Steaks were flavorful, cooked correctly, what I can't say about the sides , unfortunately. The asparagus had a weird taste: seemed as it was marinated ? because of the bitter-sour taste and then a bit burned taste from the grill, I guess. Overall, it seem as place is quite popular( by amount of people ) maybe the resort near by adding to it. It was fine to stop by, but I'm not sure if I would come here as a planned visit.

My family and I came here on a recommendation from our hotel and this place did not disappoint!! The place is cute with all the sports memorabilia and had a nice bar area. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. We arrived and were told it would be about an hour wait but only waited 30 minutes. We got waited on right away and our waitress was fantastic!! So curious and nice. We ordered the pretzel bites and cheese which were very good. My husband got the ribeye, loaded baked potato and coleslaw. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection! I ordered the beef manhattan with green beans but I also ordered the asparagus. Man oh man was it good. I couldn't stop eating it and the asparagus was cooked perfectly!! My kids got the mushroom and Swiss burger which he inhaled and my other son got the Cajun pasta with chicken and it did not last long either!! I would definitely recommend this place and if ever we are in the area again will make sure we stop for a bite to eat!

The food was great! Service was well done. Never waited for a water or soda refill for the table. The price for the quality is excellent. When you're in the French Lick area and looking for casual good food, check them out!

We stopped in for dinner after a round of golf and enjoyed our experience. Our server was friendly and the menu is tavern typical. The ambiance is naturally sports bar with Larry Bird and other memorabilia . We enjoyed the fish fry special, 33 burger with side salad and a nice Pinot noir. The food was served warm in generous portions. Easy street parking too.

Food and service was wonderful. Clean sports bar with upscale pub food. We all were happy with our selections

Nice sports bar. Lots of memorabilia. We went for lunch. I had the tenderloin and my wife had a salad. Nothing special, but the food was good. The waitress was nice and our food came out quickly. There's not a lot of options in French Lick, and the German restaurant was closed the day we were there. It's not a place I would call my favorite place by any means, but it was open

Bar vibe with family restaurant service. I had the garlic Parmesan wings and they were so good I forgot to take a picture.

We have been here many times and loved it NOT TODAY! We sat and waited for 15-20 mins while 5 servers stood and talked amongst themselves we got up and left !! Try some training in customer service !!

Food was good, I had pork chops, I saw some poor reviews, they were good, nice thick and juicy.. we had two salads they were nice proportions and were good... kids likes the burgers and chips... wife had a tenderloin sandwich and said it was very good...all was good... we will return when in town.

In fact, one said that the Happy Hour had catered his wedding. So we came in during lunch in good spirits, but the food just didn't deliver. I ordered the grilled tenderloin with fries (it was the daily special). The tenderloin had almost no flavor and was pounded out unevenly so it fell apart as I was trying to eat it. The sandwich was served on toasted white bread which is something I have never seen in my many years of Hoosier tenderloin eating. The fries were your standard, straight-out-of-the-bag-from-the-freezer variety, and they weren't seasoned at all. Copious amounts of salt and pepper were required to make them palatable. As for the decor, I wasn't really expecting much as there are basically 2 restaurants in Celestine and they're both sports bars. So the Happy Hour looks like a sports bar. The tables and chairs aren't particularly comfortable (they use standard banquet chairs) and there are some TVs around. And that's it. It was cheap (~$9) and the sweet tea was pretty good. If I was ever in Celestine again, I'd try the other sports bar before coming back to the Happy Hour. However, if the other place wasn't any better, I would probably drive to the next town to eat rather than come back here.

Nothing that little water doesn't take care of. haha when I mentioned the cake to the waitress, she said it's probably the goat cheese and the mashed potatoes. So here's how the tap came out: It was a busy Saturday night. Easy to grab a high top, but being over 30 - it's not fun sitting on a bar stool. That's fine. The service - like I said, they were busy. But one of my friends never even got his drink, and he ended up telling the waitress to cancel it because we were already eating our fries. The fries - - 4 dipping sauces equals 5 stars! Love the ability to try different flavors and find your fav. My fav is the pesto aioli because its unique! I give the seasoning 4 stars, and it was a little heavy handed, and kind of overpowered the sauces. Texture was good, some were a lil soggy, overall they were good! I've had the other food at the tap, and always enjoyed myself. Definitely worth a visit - but be prepared if they're super slammed!

For drinks, cocktails (and a few mocktails) and a smaller selection of wine are also available. I wanted to get beer but I was kind of tempted by the cocktails. My first choice was a flight that included a mix of The Tap beers and guest beers, but the waiter came back after taking the order and told me that they could only do flights with their beers but could let me sample the beers I wanted to try, so I did that, and the samples were probably around 2 oz each so I basically got half a flight. After that, I ended up ordering a real flight of their beer. The Tap beers I tried were: Kill the Lights stout (regular and barrel-aged), Tapenator dark lager, Frost Bite winter ale, Nefarious Nectar blonde. Guest beers: Jacob Leinenkugel white mocha stout, Weihanstephaner Hefeweissbier, BrewDog Winter Staycation. Not going to waste space reviewing all of these, but they were all fantastic. I was really grateful that they let me sample so many! And they also have food. The menu isn't huge but does have some variety, and it's not just basic pub food. I had the ahi tuna crunch bowl and it was pretty good! It kind of had the vibe of stuff thrown together in a poke bowl, but it worked and I thought the fish was done really well. Our waiter was wonderful! He was really friendly and just the right amount of attentive. My friend and I stayed for a while talking after we had paid and he didn't rush us out at all. Granted, it was a pretty quiet night. We both really liked the vibe of the place. I would love to be back soon!
