If I could give no stars I probably would, the only reason they get one is because overall they were pleasant to talk to. However, the information given about my vehicle was WRONG and almost cost me thousands of dollars. I took my car in to be diagnosed as the Warranty company said please take it to the dealership in which we did. They tried to tell me that my transmission cooler line had rubeed against a sensor and popped it, causing the transmission to be no good and said they were throwing CVT trans codes when hooked to the scanner indicating the transmission was bad. My husband spoke to them and they said if warranty covered it, the cost would be roughly $4800.00. When they called to let us know warranty was sending an inspector out, and that warranty denied the claim I knew something was up. We have one of the best warrantys you could ask for, warranty caught on to the fact they were trying to get more money out of them. Picked my car up after they told me $7050.00 (roughly) to replace the transmission. We then asked warranty could we get a second opinion, took it to Gibsons Garage (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), they did confirm the line was busted, and warranty would not cover the line under drive train. However they had NO trans codes coming up. They replaced the line, added a half quart, to a quart of trans fluid, and my cars been good as new, not to mention they saved me almost 7 thousand dollars. This is my experience with this company. BEWARE!!!! The horrible company that I chose to do my repairs which is Butler collision. My experience was horrible with them, so I shouldn't have been surprised that when they had to put my car back in the shop for the second time because they Mitch matched it and damaged it more I had to then go through the car rental service they use, which is Butler Nissan. You would think things would move smoothly as a routine, but I went to pick up the rental. The rental was disgusting. There was crumbs all over the dashboard. It was grease on the steering wheel. The cupholder metal console area has sticky stuff crumbs everywhere in the seats the floor looked like someone had just cut grass in the muddy area that you could find and had been in and out of the car so because I politely told them that the car was dirty again, I politely told them that the car was dirty. I later found out from Butler collision, who was repairing my car from their advisor Stephanie that the manager at Butler Nissan had called over to their shop and ask them what type of car did I have that they were repairing and how did my in size look in my car.. Stephanie stated she told them she has a 2023 Cadillac 350 turbo that looks spectacular on the inside and she also stated that she told the manager at Butler Nissan car rental department that she is not the one to be messed with. I guess she thought that that comment she made was a compliment to me, but I have a very professional job. I sit in a office environment also and that gave me more confirmation that they sit around and talk about their customers in a disgusting way they will put you in a category like you're a problem. Customer no matter how pleasant you are with them and how nicely of a person you treat them. They hate their job because they're underpaid or if they just have poor character so again, but Nissan to rent a car is not the way to go. They're not professional they talk back-and-forth to their other coworkers and other companies about you like you're not paying them. Beware!!! read more

I visited a couple months ago looking for a Jeep. This location was extremely far for me but I said hey why not, this could possibly be my final trip in search of a Jeep. I scheduled an appointment with a woman dats in advance, once I arrived she was "too busy" to show me the car. Another man pulled up in the car, the black interior of the car completely covered in dog hair to where a person who's allergic would definitely code or go into shock in the parking lot. The guy meant well, or did he? I'm not sure because it was common sense to clean the car beforehand, it was extremely unpresentable. I'm giving 2 stars because ... I'm not sure why. read more

So this Salesman ask how can I help I tell him.So I let him know wat I pay monthly I won't go over it.so I let him know I finance through Nissan never missed payment 6 yrs with Nissan.my credit not great because I co sign for someone. 4 yrs ago. And Nissan didn't care as long as my paying them was on time. Now this character sales man with all the awards in his office takes my info comes back and says this way I have due to your credit not so good you would have to pay 550 month. I said did you call Nissan this Roque is. Credit through Nissan.6 yrs pristine status So he see he getting no where with me.He gets his manager so I tell him same thing they both say be back so15 minutes they come back with the ballistics manager says well credit not great. I can put you in Roque 2018 with7,500 miles but its only two wheel drive no heat seats,no cell phone hook up a month I said no.So he said 600 a month for 50 months I said no so he says you can afford you get $5000 a month I said who and where you get that figure he points to his salesman. The GM is an ass I purchased a 2017 Tahoe only had it 17 days and started having transmission problems instead of letting me get something else without having to pay another down payment I left with having to put down 10,000 dollars on another car when i left feeling so defeated I literally cried in total I was out of 17,000 dollars when they could have easily let the finance company know something was wrong with the first car and the had to swap it out. read more

On yesterday my family and I went to Butler Nissan to look for a SUV for my son. Things were going well, I had an with Morgan, she was very pleasant, greeted me and had me to work with GT who was personable and professional. Things changed when my young adult children and I were standing outside waiting for someone to appraise my son's truck. Chad Goss comes out on the phone and look at my son's truck. As he opened the door I said excuse me, Are you going to drive my son's truck? He said he was putting it in the system, but Yes he was going to drive it. I then asked could he put on a mask before getting in the vehicle. He proceeded to give me a lesson on COVID-19 and that wearing a mask is not beneficial with a hint of distaste in his voice. He reluctantly said, if I wanted, he would put on a mask and walked back in the building and not returning to the vehicle. I went inside and asked for the GM but no GM was there. I felt this was very inappropriate and had I not been black he would not have chosen to speak to me in that manner. As a customer, as long as I'm not inappropriate with you or asking something that is not within your purview to do, a simple request to wear a mask before entering our vehicle should have been accommodated, given the climate we are in. This changed the tone of our visit and we did not purchase a vehicle from Butler Nissan of Macon,Georgia solely because of Chad Goss and will not be returning. read more

So I originally had an amazing review of Butler Nissan because they do everything right to get you in the door and get you a vehicle. HOWEVER, once they sell you the car they are horrible. Before purchasing my vehicle, I found outside financing, thus, in order for the dealership to get their check, they had to send the bank a copy of the sales contract / bill of sale (and I told them this, emailed them this, and gave hem a physical copy of the document stating this). For the first week, Butler Nissan didn't send them the bill. A week later, all of a sudden, the finance manager is calling my phone 5 times a day asking why the bank hasn't sent them the check. So naturally, I inquired about whether they sent my bank the bill of sale as I told them to, and of coarse he responds that they hadn't. After 3 or 4 attempts of sending the wrong documentation to my bank, the finance manger finally sent them the bill of sale and got their check. In addition to this, I traded in my car, and gave them a down payment (enough to pay off the remaining balance on the car) as well as they got the check from my bank a week later (once they sent in the documentation). It's been 3 weeks since then and they have NOT paid off my car, meaning my previous auto loan company is looking for me to pay them my monthly payment, and because I haven't (which I shouldn't have to because Butler. Nissan should have PAID OFF MY CAR), the loan company has placed negative mark on my credit. I have called Butler Nissan on several occasions asking them when they would pay my car off because they had enough from my down payment, along with the check, and no one returns my calls or has any answers. They are completely unprofessional, and will only do enough to get you in the door and get a car, but after that they are worthless and don't care about their customers. Horrible service! My mom had to bring her car in for an airbag recall. She was told she could get a loaner while we waited. When we got here, we were told that Nissan doesn't offer loaners. So here we are 3 hours later still waiting. I had issues years ago with their collision center. I scheduled my 2 year old Nissan for service here for the last time. The service light came on in my vehicle so when I arrived for my "scheduled diagnostic" appointment, the service intake customer service representative was extremely rude and short with me. So unprofessional... Later, when I retrieved my vehicle and paid $135 for the vehicle diagnostic service, I was told that my service light sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. I was given an approximate $1100 estimate to service and replace the sensor. The very next day, my vehicle would not start. I took my 2 year old Nissan battery to get it checked at Advanced Auto and was told that it was almost dead. I thought that was strange because the day before the Butler Service Center did not advise me of that, even though I had paid $135 for a complete vehicle diagnostic. After I replaced the battery, the service light went off, despite the $1100 estimate Butler Nissan Service Center had advised would fix that problem. To make matters worst, the battery in my key fob started to go bad also. So, ask yourself, if you paid for a vehicle diagnostic at this business wouldn't you expect something for your money??? In the words of "Ernest T. Bass", "fooled me once, shame on you... fooled me twice, shame on me...". Butler Nissan Service Center won't get a second chance to beat me out of a single penny! read more

Avoid at all costs!!! After 4 days my new Nissan Frontier broke down and I had it towed to the nearest dealership, which was Butler Nissan, due to a defective part. Rude, unprofessional and uncaring. The first 8 days of ownership of a brand new truck and 4 of them it was in the service department. No loaner car. No rental car. They did not care how I got home since the truck was towed in, or how I was supposed to get to work. Employees are either poorly trained or just liars. I thought it might be a few bad employees until I spoke with the general manager. After days of trying to reach him and leaving many messages, ( he seems to take days off a lot or leaves really early), I finally got him on the phone. He says, "I don't care if your truck is 4 days old or 4 years old, if you didn't buy it from my dealership, it's not my problem. Loaner cars are for people that bought here." Obviously the poor and uncaring attitude of the employees comes from the top.. Auto wouldn't start and had it towed to Butler. They charged me $550 for an alternator. The day I picked it up, it started to hesitate and had difficulty starting. The next day it squealed when starting. Had it taken back to the dealer and was told it needed a battery. Paid $118 for that. The following week, when I went out to the car to go home, it was dead. Had it towed again. This time I was told it needed a starter and would cost about $700. Each visit, it was run through "diagnostics" at $135. Needless to say, since diagnostics hadn't worked and it appeared that whatever they replaced earlier wasn't the cause of the continuing difficulty, I didn't give them another chance. Had it towed to another mechanic and I didn't even get an inquiry from the service manager as to why - obviously as someone else pointed out, they didn't care. Interestingly, the other mechanic didn't find the same issues as Nissan. Really too bad - I had planned to buy a new car there because I love my Pathfinder, but they won't get anymore business from me! read more

My husband bought a Nissan Rogue from Butler Nissan for me as a Mother's Day gift. There was a chip in the windshield and cracks in the armrest on the driver's side door. I dropped it off at the dealership when my salesman told me to-assuming they would actually make the repairs that they agreed to make and that we have IN WRITING-and was given a loaner. When I picked it up, the chip was still there and the armrest wasn't replaced as our salesman said it would be. Instead, they melted a piece of vinyl on it and spray painted it black. It looks horrible and is very uncomfortable. They also got black spray paint in the inside of my SILVER door. They sent a guy out to fix my windshield,but he was unable to. I've left a voicemail for the used car sales manager and texted our salesman several times. We have gotten no response and nothing has been done to make it right. Very very disappointed in everyone there and upset that they ruined my first Mother's Day gift from my husband. read more

The sales people were wonderful and they just happened to have the exact car I wanted at the start of looking for cars a week before finding the car. I would have rated it 5 stars the only one thing that was not all that great was the wait to finish buying the car. After deciding to get the car it took nearly 4 hours to get it. I am not sure if that is a normal thing or not. but that was the only downfall but at least the employees were entertaining and I really did not know it was 4 hours till we were done and I got the keys. well 3 1/2 hours.
