When I brought this up, the staff defensively claimed they only worked on the front end, so the trunk "should not have been opened," ignoring my digital proof. When I pressed the manager the first time when the initial work was done about the items being scattered in my trunk for an explanation regarding my vehicle's security, he simply said, "Well, I don't have an answer for that we did work to the front end so my staff had no reason to go in the trunk.

They tell you they don't have a margin to be able to offer more based off "their business" model. They suggest hey we are a certified CARMX certified trade company or something like that. Send in the vin an miles and pics and they will give you a price which is usually more than our. We can use that amount as a trade and CARMAX will come pick the car up and sale it because we can't make a better profit. They already know what CARMAX offer will be and come in lower in order to insinuate CARMAX offers more because they make their profits on the finance side rather than the sale side. We guess what, they didn't sell the vehicle (little blue SUV on their lot) to CARMAX as they said they were because there is not profit in it. They chose to keep it and list it for more than $8K more lol. They lied about this on the front end and the back end in order to get you thinking they were not going to keep it to sell based off no profit to be made, then turn around and keep it to make $8k. No profit?, LOL. You would think a dealer would want home town return customers and to maintain them they build relationships of trust and mutual understanding, I have no doubt a company want to make a profit and 3 to 5K would be not unreasonable but to gauge for $8k and lie up front about it, nope!! ** This is in now way reflective of the service department, we have owned several Lexus vehicles and the service department there is very very good. The texting service they use is so seamless. It provides you with answers quickly even if your service person is t available. It is clear and user friendly. It texts you the services and prices of each as numbers. Then you can choose if you want just number one done or one thru four or whatever. The prices were surprising reasonable. After paying over $7,000, we walked out to the car with the technician only to find the key fob was dead. The technician manually unlocked the door and discovered the headlights had been left on. Our car had been parked with the headlights and taillights on for SIX AND A HALF DAYS. The headlights were facing the side of the dealership building--how does no one notice this? Do they not have security cameras, guards, or lot checks? To make matters worse, the battery was brand-new (purchased right before my trip to Macon). Leaving a battery completely drained for a week ruins its long-term lifespan. Instead of offering to replace the battery they damaged, the technician jumped the car and told me I just needed to "drive for 20 minutes" to charge it. I told him we had planned to take our two sons (who are in law school) to lunch in Macon and visit a dear friend's mother in the hospital. The tech just repeated that we had to keep driving or we'd get stranded. Because of their negligence, our family plans were completely ruined and we had to drive straight back to Alma.
