I highly recommend this body positive and super fun pole studio. Butter & Filth is incredible and probably one of my favorite pole studios I've ever gone to. I feel like there are different types of pole. Some emphasize the workout, others focus on the confidence and dance aspects. I prefer the latter, but Butter & Filth does an amazing job at incorporating all the elements. It feels like a fully balanced space. I have taken a few B&F infusion classes. You are required to start with these before you can sign up for their other classes. It's a three class beginner series. They have two studios now, which are about 5 minutes driving from each other. The class mentions which location it'll take place at. If you're interested in joining this studio, you'll want to sign up for their newsletter to get notified when the registration for B&F infusion is open to signup for (usually at the beginning of the month). It seems like you're required to take it twice before moving on to their normal classes. Do not be discouraged by the pricing here. It's a local business with incredible teachers and a wonderful vibe. You don't only learn a lot, but it feels like an investment in self love. I know that sounds cheesy, but I usually leave classes there feeling inspired and really proud or good about myself. It's an amazing community and I'm excited to continue my journey with them. read more

Hands down best pole studio. The instructors are amazing and will blow your mind but they are all incredible teachers who can break things down to digestible cues. I wasn't able to attend a month session due to a sprained ankle and the studio was willing to let me still apply my money to another month's sessions. I have taken clases at two other pole studios and Butter and Filth is definitely my favorite. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. They have a really clean, sleek looking design to the studio. There are floor length mirrors and cool colored lights that are used in some classes. The poles are really tall and super fun to use. Classes are not boring because you will do something new every time. All of the instructors are awesome and the people attending classes are friendly. I had an absolute AMAZING time at Butter and Filth!!! It bears mentioning that I have been pole dancing for about 5 years. I took Pole Tricks 1, Butter (for dancing) and Pole Tricks 2 with Heather and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY!!! In Pole Tricks 1, Heather broke down moves in ways that I had never considered before which led directly to a smooth transition for the next move she was teaching. Butter is just as smooth and yummy as it sounds. We were taught and guided through a short sexy choreography and absolutely encouraged to explore our own movements and to do what works best for our individual body. Pole Tricks 2 focused on stringing moves together into short combos. Once again, I was super impressed with Heather's unique style and careful verbal cues to clearly communicate her vision and intention. I love this space!!! It is inspiring and feels comfortable. It's like a blank canvas that Heather and Nia want you to color with your personality. The other students were so very welcoming and so helpful!!!!
