I packed up all my things and covered my furniture, I already had loaded more than half of my stuff in storage. It should have been an easy and quick job considering storage was only 3 miles down the road. While they were loading stuff up I was cleaning and occupied. I feel since it would have been an hour maybe 90 minute job he took his time loading then wanting to take more time wrapping up my furniture which I didn't see necessary but hey I thought this guy is nice. So that took more time. Then at the storage too taking up more time to wrap furniture that was already wrapped. 2nd trip took a little longer because of an issue with the water valve to the washer but 2 nd load was smaller. Again taking time to load and wrapping while at the storage. So it took 3 hours to move my 2 bedroom house into storage unit 3 miles down the road. $450! Myself and my son went back to the house and found on the side of the road some of my sofa cushions on the side of the road. Went back to the storage and noticed scratches and paint off my washer and dryer that I've seen so far. I brought it to his attention and he did ask what he can do after saying things happen. I told him I didn't understand how moving my furniture 3 miles down the road, more than half already in storage and my furniture packed up And ready to go. My first experience hiring movers. I lived just across the street in a RV community. So it was close to home and it was close to where I worked on NAS Corpus Christi. It was convenient. July 4 2023 my unit was broken into. over 2000 dollars of property was stolen. I received ONE phone call which I missed. The voice message informed me that they noticed the lock was missing. But it was clear that my unit was broken into. It was Four days later when I realized SAFE Guard had called and left a message. Four days days the rest of my property was left exposed to more theft because they put no priority on my property to call me again. Three other units at this foul business were also broken into that weekend. They didn't call the police or file a report with the local police. The lighting was severely inefficient. (IT WAS DARK AT NIGHT)Most of the bulbs were broken and not fixed. Minimal security cameras and the few that were there looked fifty years old. After walking the property it was clear the lock lasps on the units many have been broken into. They don't improve the integrity of their locks. They just have "patches" to fix the broken into locks. Or they just replace the broken into locks with the same type of failed locks. Do not use this facility. Many attempts made to speak to management thru email and phone calls. Crickets. Was told by a worker that she didn't have a supervisor. Sorry. SMH. Was going to sue them but with the luck of the gods I obtained employment which enabled me to move from that wretched city. I can't prove this at all. But I really believe that the theft of property was an inside job. Too much to write on this review to go into detail. Very important to note...The video surveillance showed the thief had the gate code and entered freely through the gate. THREE months after the theft of my property the gate code WAS NEVER CHANGED. NEVER. I kept an open account with them only to document in my law suit that they NEVER CHANGED the codes to the gate. Or made any other improvements to prevent theft at this storage facility.

We went to the office to inform them and they simply said, "This is Corpus Christi. There's mold"...so we decided to try to combat the mold. We put charcoal throughout the unit, and also set off mold bombs...came back after 2 weeks and checked and mold was still all over everything. We moved our stuff into a climate control storage facility instead. We wish we would have done that in the first place. When we were giving our key fob back, the woman in the office told us that mold grows in storage units (like it wasn't a big deal). Soooo again - I would steer away from AAA storage. We watched many folks driving their boats into the units and storing them and our guess is that the wet boats are causing mold in all of the units.
