There was plenty of street parking in the area. Upon arriving, you can order at the counter or at the outdoor window. The inside is beautiful, and has a few small tables, in addition to several outdoor tables. Our group ordered several varieties of wine and bread, as well as the pork fat fries and the spinach dip. Located at the back of the building you can enter through going around back or walking through the building. Its a small place, but they have tables and bar seating. The wine menu is glorious. So much to choose from. I like how you order at the bar because it gives you a chance to see what everyone else is drinking as they keep the open bottles up front. I asked the staff what I should order based on wanting a chilled red. They gave me tow options. I chose a Nebbiolo and loved it! We ordered two "bread with stuff". We got the pumpkin and the french onion. Both were amazing! We went at 2 pm so it was the perfect snack. They did have a fairly diverse menu. This place is in a super random neighborhood but it was absolutely darling. I'd recommend this for girl dinner- my best friend and I came here and felt completely satiated, but my boyfriend joined us and ate then left to get a quesadilla. But he's also the reason our grocery bill has doubled since we got together. Anyways enough about him- every dish was a banger. The crudity with green goddess I was fully prepared to rate as stupid, but man that wound up being my favorite. They... brine? Blanch? Idk the vegetables so when you bite into them there is a salty crunch. But they're still raw?! Idk they're perfect. The dip was insane- I would've drank it if it came in a bigger cup. Butterlamp was brought to my attention though some foodie influencers I consulted when looking for places to eat in Nashville. While this didn't stand out as the most Southern or Nashville-eque place (for me), what struck me was that it was a wine bar that specialized in bread and butter. Say no more, you're speaking my language. I had just finished doing some touristy things and I thought this would be the perfect place to stop before going back downtown. Butterlamp is a little hidden, at least from my perspective. I Ubered it here from another area of Nashville and it looks like the business is nestled in a mostly residential area. Forgive my ignorance if I'm wrong - but it was kinda quiet and didn't see too much action surrounding it. That's not necessarily a bad thing, I just probably would't have found this spot unless I was intentionally looking for it. Anyway I digress - the space is actually really lovely. There is a small outdoor seating area, and inside gives way to a combination of bar seating, high tops, and standard tables. This place looks new, and the bright color scheme gave it a really fresh feel. The menu has a variety of wine, bread to both eat in house and take home, and few other bites that go with being at a wine bar. I decided to get a glass of dry red, and pair it with some warm sourdough that came with their cultured butter. To complete the moment, I ordered a plate of mortadella and soppressata. Honestly, this was a vibe - the wine was good, as were the meats, but let's talk about that bread. It was warm, crusty on the outside, and soft on the inside. The cultured butter was delicious and it all made for awesome flavor and mouthfeel mmmm yes. I got another round of wine, this time I tried one of their chilled reds which was also quite good. Service was good - everyone was really friendly. Overall, this was a great find in Nashville - they serve good wine and simple, yet creative food that complement the vino well. We decided to pop in here after a long conference day and had a great experience. Signage isn't great outside so if you don't know the area it sort of seems like you're about to walk into a school or government building next to an apartment building - but once you're inside the ambiance is great and the bathrooms were beautiful and clean. Definitely limited seating (first come, first served) and you order everything from the bar, so sometimes it took a few minutes of standing in line to actually be able to order. Discrepancy between bartenders with the size of the wine glasses poured.. in hindsight, wish we had just ordered a bottle as it would have been less expensive. Maybe they could offer a wine tasting option, so you get 3 different glasses to try for a slightly reduced price. The bread was outstanding as was almost every bite of food we ordered. The deviled eggs were my favorite, and the cookie and pear trifle for dessert were to die for! Truly incredible, one of the best cookies I've ever eaten. This ended up being our dinner but could also serve as a pre-dinner appetizer and glass of wine if you wish, or a post-dinner glass of wine and dessert. Would definitely come back! read more

Run, don't walk, Nashville finally has an incredible wine bar that hits perfectly across vibe/ambiance/quality of wine/food/price point/amazing service!! Hidden in the far right of the new Eastwood Village complex is a tiny but mighty wine bar with amazing snacks galore. I came on a Sunday afternoon at what they described as their slowest time since opening (but with still a steady stream of individuals and groups coming in for bread to go or to stay for a glass and a bite). It was easy to grab a seat at the bar, but I imagine on weekends there's a line situation as there are no reservations here. The menu is intensely seasonal and casual - specials are written in the glass mirror behind the bar (rotating options for cheese, charcuterie, tinned fish, and oysters; a selection of "favorite" wines by the glass currently available & sorted by type.) I couldn't come here for a heavy meal but you can easily fill up a balanced plate with the different snack options. The crudite with tofu green goddess dressing is honestly one of the most unique and perfect dishes I've had in Nashville in ages. The tofu adds a whole other dreamy creaminess to it, the herb balance is just perfect, they don't skimp on the fancy vegetables (including cucamelon, endive, and purple carrots) and the fact the vegetables come dressed in evoo and salt really takes the flavor unexpectedly next level. My one small gripe is I needed more dip - not a terrible problem to have and they brought me more upon request. The deviled eggs in a tuille skirt are also not to be missed and the warm bread (get the konbu!!) with butter is simple but so perfect. I was thankful they had a light dessert like Eton mess because I wanted a sweet end but was pretty full from my many snacks. This is girl dinner vibes but make it all taste decadent. The cheese were good but not standout to me and my biggest regrets weee not having enough room to try the mussels or tinned fish, because they looked amazing. Beautiful, dog-friendly grassy area outside available with tables so when the weather gets a bit cooler, can see this being a popular outdoor hang (a good thing because the inside is small - most ideal for groups smaller than 4.) Really thoughtful service that walks you through the wines. Absolute slam dunk of an opening and I'm so thankful to finally have an excellent wine bar in Nashville! read more

Very cool spot! The cozy interior is the perfect winter hideaway with your friends. Get here early because the few seats fill up quickly and you can't order food until you have a table. We ordered half a loaf of regular sourdough and half a loaf of cracked pepper sourdough and both were absolutely delicious. I'm not sure if they made their own butter as well, but it was also so yummy. We also got an order of the brown butter chocolate chip cookies and they were PERFECT. I know rent is probably expensive and the price of ingredients has gone up but the portions of everything are so small. You get a teaspoon of jam to go with a quarter loaf of bread.
