This place totally blew away my expectations. I came here for brunch and the space is beautiful from the moment you walk in -- friendly hostess, attentive servers, and the first challenge was just deciding where to sit. They have a gorgeous rooftop, a shaded ground-floor patio, and a luxe dining interior. We went with the main dining hall, and despite the heat outside, the interior was cool and comfortable. We started with the breakfast charcuterie board visually stunning, and the taste absolutely matched the presentation. The lamb sausage and the halloumi drizzled with honey were standouts. 10/10. We also tried the shakshuka, which was cooked perfectly great temperature and a beautifully spiced tomato sauce. For entrées, I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The fries alone deserve their own shoutout perfectly seasoned and crispy. My friend got the burrito, which had this perfect blend of spiced lamb sausage (I think) and crisp potato wedges. I'm definitely ordering that next time. We don't drink, but they have a great selection of mocktails that actually looked tempting. The food here seriously impressed me. There are too many options to try in one visit, so we'll absolutely be back to work through the rest of the menu. read more

Sirocco is a very cute place! The decor is thoughtful and fun and it makes for great photos. Parking is very convenient for the area. I really wanted to like this place as I love Mediterranean food, the food offerings have a lot of potential but service and food were below average. The fries were soggy and the chicken was overcooked. We ordered a champagne for brunch and had to request the bucket after the server just left the bottle on the table. I hope this place can thrive as it is very cute and in a prime location. read more

I'm genuinely confused by some of the less positive reviews. We enjoyed dinner at this East Nashville Mediterranean restaurant last night and the place delivers on every front. The dining room is beautifully designed and the staff are friendly and professional. They were incredibly gracious when we had to make a last-minute change to our reservation and made us feel genuinely taken care of all night. The wine list has a nice by-the-glass selection, including a sparkling rosé served in a pretty flute that was a perfect way to start the evening. I ordered the Athena Bowl and would get it again in a heartbeat. It was healthy but still satisfying, layered with flavor and texture in every bite. I added salmon, which was cooked perfectly with the crispy skin I always hope for but rarely get. My girlfriend ordered the white bean and farro salad- it's served with a generous pile of fresh greens that I definitely want to order myself next time. There were plenty of other tempting options on the menu. We shared the creamy polenta (yum!) and grilled vegetables- both were comforting and good for sharing. The chocolate olive oil cake with mousse and whipped cream was light and just sweet enough. If you only have room for one dessert, even better was the baklava pistachio ice cream sandwich, which was creative, indulgent, and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend. read more

We had a big group and all did separate checks and she was spot on with organizing the payments and so nice about it. Would 100% recommend!! The patio was beautiful and surprisingly comfortable even in the Nashville heat thanks to the covered seating and fans. The drinks were refreshing, the food was solid, and the shrimp kebab was easily my favorite dish of the night. Definitely a great spot for drinks, dinner, or a nice rooftop vibe. read more

It may have been a rough night for the restaurant, but I have to say this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Nothing was tasty or filling. We had the mujadara, artichoke, Brussel sprouts, and lamb kofta. The only thing that was edible were the Brussel sprouts. The vibe reminded me of a restaurant trying to copy a Miami vibe, but missed many marks. The drinks were basic and not very creative, but came in creative containers. For the restaurant to be in such a cute space, I hope they can improve their culinary experience. I am giving the restaurant two stars because our waitress was nice. read more

Sirocco has such a lovely interior that's instagrammable and so cuuute! Great interior decorating and furniture. A lot of newer restaurants have smaller table tops and for a party of 3, there was plenty of room. Overall, we enjoyed our brunch experience. The food was just "okay." Nothing was terrible, but the skin came on the salmon on top a salad which didn't impact taste, but made it difficult to eat. The Caesar salad was underwhelming, but the eggplant croutons was a fun spin. The burger and steak and eggs were again, decent, but don't change our lives. While I would have loved to give this cute restaurant a 5-star review, the service brings it down to a 3. Food was great with excellent taste. Service seemed a little lost & maybe new to the game? We waited quite some time with our table of 12 & had to ask the waiters if we could order food. Plates weren't cleared after appetizers so when dinner came it was a bit crowded. The price of the specialty drinks is highway robbery especially since they were unremarkable. It's possible that this is just the brunch items. I got the French toast and they didn't have syrup in-house, only honey. They also don't have creamer, so I couldn't order coffee. The ambiance at Sirocco is beautiful--stepping inside feels like being transported to a chic bar in Mykonos just as the night is about to begin. That said, it leans more toward a lounge or bar vibe than a true restaurant experience. The staff is attentive, friendly, and strikingly well-presented, but the service style gives more "bottle girl" energy than that of trained servers. The drinks were the real telltale sign. Cocktails are priced around $18, and while they come with attractive garnishes, they don't quite justify the cost. There's also a $30 shareable cocktail that feels more suited for a bachelorette party than a fine dining atmosphere. As for the food--it was good, but not exceptional. We started with the fried shrimp appetizer; the pistachio shrimp were large and fresh but could have used more seasoning. The dipping sauces, however, were excellent. The potatoes luxe, served in a martini glass, were an unexpected presentation choice but tasted good nonetheless. The lamb chops were seasoned perfectly but arrived at noticeably different temperatures, which was disappointing for the price point. At $30 for three chops, the portion and presentation felt consistent with the nightclub-style dining experience. The biggest letdown of the evening was the Caesar salad. The lettuce was limp and soggy, and if the dressing was made in-house, it could definitely benefit from a recipe rethink. All in all, Sirocco is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and a lively scene. I made a Yelp account simply to write about my experience at this place. I should start off by saying we were here celebrating my friend's birthday. We were a party of five, and three of us got there first before our reservation time. We told the host we were going to sit at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party. She looked at us like we had three heads. She kept asking "are you sure?" And saying "I guess you can do that if you want." Which I found odd because this is a fairly common thing people do. There was also hardly anyone there and we were paying customers, so it was weird that we felt so unwelcome. The bartender was nice enough, drinks were expensive but it seemed like you were mostly paying to photograph them--my cocktail came in a shell shaped vase that was awkward to hold. When our whole party arrived (5 total), the host wanted to sit us at a table for 12 people. We asked for a smaller table so we could have a more intimate dinner. Reluctantly, they sit us at an appropriate sized table and muttered "you got your booth now," annoyed at our outrageous request. Our waitress was nice when we saw her. However, one of the other servers was helping to deliver food. My friend asked for sauces for the fries, and before she could even finish speaking one of the servers said: "what's the magic word?" Patronizing my friend as though she was a bratty child. Beyond that, the portion sizes were small for the cost. I had the lamb: 3 small chops for about $40. It was good. My friends liked their food okay. Ambiance was feminine and lounge-adjacent. Overall would not return due to the service and value. read more

We have so many amazing Mediterranean options such as Lyra or even Grecko where at both spots (one being bas fast food) you can get much better food and a much better price. The lamb was ok. The artichoke app was edible. The lobster orzotto was terrible. I could barely cut through the lobster it was so tough and the orzotto tasted like boxed orzo with velveta and chicken stock. This was a crazy experience. All we got was wine and cucumbers. It took 30 mins to get the wine and an extra 20 mins for cucumbers + pita. $75 later for what? Each glass of wine was poured visibly different. It was just weird because it wasn't busy. Also ordered the fries with feta... never came... were they put into the computer? Don't know got no explanation, we had to cancel it because we finished our drinks and we're just twirling our thumbs while they were putting smoke inside their cocktails? Like for what? read more
