They have a variety of things from breakfast burritos, and burgers to Chinese food. I've have sampled each of those items and they have all been good. I overheard one lady telling someone how great the food was and asking what they'd ordered. I was also able to locate the area where they had so many different grocery type items in drugstore supplies. I can see why travelers would want to stop here because anything you would need while on the road or at home is available at this location. The staff was customer service oriented and they smiled and asked where we were from. I did have a conversation with them and they indicated that they lived in Bakersfield. It's the closest big city. I also noticed on the map that there are many prisons in this area of the valley and so I assumed that a lot of families coming to visit their loved ones. Probably stop here. This was James Dean's last stop before he got into a fatal accident hence his huge cutout outside the gas station. Store was spacious with lots of different snack particularly nuts. We then proceeded on to the property pulled up to the pump all stated $3. 09 a gallon. We inserted our credit card and the price did not changed, only ater we started the pump amount changed to 3. 39 a gallon. When I talk to the manager, Otis, he said that's our price for cash and credit is 339 you have to see these small sign. It's on the ground behind the bush. They got me once. And I will never shop there again.
