Exactly, cheap IKEA Hot Dogs! But anyway, back to Hot Dog No. 1 It's a stylish place, relatively small though. It is well located in front of the Bilker Arcaden. When I was there, not many people were buying, so I had to try. I had a Standard Hot Dog with everything on it. It was nice, it tasted like a good Hot Dog has to taste. Compared to my benchmark HotDog from IKEA, you are getting a tasty, crisp snack. Not that IKEA ones are bad, but you can tast immediately that this a different thing. Only 4 stars, because I find it expensive, especially compared to the IKEA one. Anyway, its a good place to snack! I'll go again!

I never would have tought you could make hot dogs in so many different ways. You can combine your hot dog with sharings and sides. Both the hot dogs and sharings are named after the seven deadly sins. The sharings are basically streetfood from all over the world in an upgraded version. In the interior the sins are depicted as naughty angels. The combination of gold, marble and wood gives a very luxurious "heavenly" atmosphere. But what amazes me the most is that during the day this restaurant becomes a completely different restaurant. Not only the menu changes but also the interior. The angels are hidden and the lounge part of the restaurant is closed. If you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch you can visit Frank's Deli. Sandwiches, eggs, wraps, juices, smoothies, (superfood)salads... For those of you who suffer from gluten intolerence they also offer glutenfree bread. So if you are looking for a trendy hot dog, look no further than Bulls and Dogs. It is the Crif Dogs (in New York) of Rotterdam minus the hidden bar behind the phone booth. We came to Bulls and Dogs on a rare sunny day in Rotterdam, and the picnic benches set up outside left a very nice relaxed, lazy summer evening atmosphere. Our jaws literally dropped to the floor when we saw the menu - so. much. choice. And real talk, those "freakalicious" milkshakes sounded truly freakalicious.. whatever that means. I had the Chocolate Chip Cookie Milkshake, the Smokey Pepper Dog and Curly Fries. Word to the wise, you should be really hungry and really ready to eat if you want to take up the challenge of eating all of this. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Milkshake was inspired - this beautiful chocolate chip cookie at the top literally crumbled in your mouth, and the cookies stuck on with Nutella at the mouth of the mason jar was ingenious. The whipped cream was so fluffy, and just sweet enough without being too overbearing. The milkshake itself was maybe not quite as viscous as I would like my milkshakes, lacking that creamy thickness you would usually expect. But when drunk with the hot dog, I definitely appreciated that it wasn't as thick. On its own, however, I probably would have appreciated a bit more creaminess. The Smokey Pepper Dog was delicious. The pretzel bun was the perfect texture, the sauce added this beautiful peppery taste to the hot dog. Visually, it was stunning - so much colour, very well plated. The taste was also pretty spot on. I think my biggest gripe with this hot dog in the end really came down to a matter of preference. I always find that a hot dog should have closer to a 50:50 ratio between bun and meat. This one was closer to 70:30 with much less meat than I would have liked. The hot dog was then drowned in this creamy harissa sauce which really made the hot dog a bit heavier than I would prefer, and made the "dog" much less of a star of the dish. Oh there was meat in there? Finally the curly fries - on point. Crispy, well-seasoned, perfect. All in all, it was an ambitious meal - very heavy on the stomach, but at the same time a very inventive, whimsical menu with a decent execution and beautiful presentation.

This is my second visit to Rodeo within the last year. It is a pretty popular place for meat…read morelovers, so if you are looking to fulfill the carnivore in you - you may want to make this place your home. The menu has a really nice selection of both cold and warm starters, and the salad selection is above average for most places. They also have a small tapas menu, offer soups, fajitas, seafood and even lambchops. On top of all this, they also have one of the largest selections of steak cuts I have ever seen in Eindhoven. Here you will find flank steak, top sirloin, tenderloin and ribeye - and in a variety of different sizes. For quick reference, the steaks come in various sizes (grams). Here's a quick way to determine how much meat your getting with the portions that Rodeo offers for the steaks: 180g (6.34oz), 250g (8.8oz), 350g (12.3oz), 450g (15.8oz), 600g (21oz). On this visit, i had the small bbq ribs as a starter. This was just right as an appetizer. It's a small plate with 6-7 spare ribs that are lightly sauced and seasoned and they tasted pretty good. I would definitely order them again. For my main course I went with the mixed kabob tenderloin (250 gram) plate. This came with a small piece of beef tenderloin and two chicken cutlets that have been pounded flat. The steak was cooked medium - exactly as I ordered it, and the chicken was done perfectly without being overcooked. Both the chicken and beef tasted great. They also brought out with the plate potato gratin and a bowl with some small frites and mayo to dip them in. I would definitely come back here again. I've had good experiences both times and the quality of the food is definitely superior here. Just be aware that the average bill here tends to be higher than for other restaurants in the area. That being said, if you like a good steak, you will definitely want to give them a try yourself.
