I wondered aloud what kind of supposedly professional service place would forget to annotate the services the customer requested. The guys said he fixed it and I was on my way. When I came back to pick it up I paid for the punctured tires only which didn't surprise me because I get free maintenance and oils change with my car purchase. Cool. This morning I turned my car on and it said, "Maintance is required." WTF?!!' Searched my service receipts. These incompetent beings didn't do an oil change! We first interacted with the Sales team (Matt and Shannon) in setting up a test drive and exploring car features, and they were extremely friendly and helpful. We then worked with Matt, Rafael and Tegan from the Finance department to finalize a price, financing, etc. At every step of the process, we found them to be honest and fair--no surprise fees, last-minute bait-and-switch, etc. What we discussed was what we agreed to/signed when we made the purchase, and we're thrilled with the new car. We were so relieved to have found an honest and easy-to-work-with dealership, so relative to our ingoing expectations/worst fears, we felt that to be deserving of a five-star review. A staff member took my credit card that was left in my glove compartment and used it for unauthorized charges. This is theft, and the lack of security and integrity at this dealership is beyond disappointing. When I found out my card has been stolen, I picked up the car, and didn't say anything as I wanted to hope for the best. Unfortunately the card was missing so I reported it as stolen and reissued the card. This is a case of a bad apple. I assume that this shouldn't reflect every single worker at this Kia dealership, but it is certainly disappointing. Update: I spoke to the manager of the shop and addressed the situation. He was very helpful and informed me that they changed ownership, and from the time my car has been serviced to now, the staff for the service team is all new (except for one technician). This is a good thing and I will continue to take my car there. But my rating stays at 1 star for now.
