It's hard to order online, you're taking a quality risk, but the quality of construction and the ease of assembly has taken out all the risk. Not to mention they are beautiful. We bought some cabinets from this company, bad experience and a bit of a nightmare. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cabinets were damaged, took 6 weeks to get another 15 inch cabinet, after many emails and phone calls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband wrote a negative google review about our experience, the owner Fiona said she would not refund a $322 accounting error on their part, unless my husband took down the negative review (audio recording below), can't believe she said that, that has to be a google violation... Fiona's only concern was the negative google review, which is obvious from the recorded phone call below. I wonder how many other customers she has paid off, so they don't post a bad review... My opinion is that the reviews are skewed. So we went to court, won a judgement for $511 last year (Case # JPC-24-02305-12), and the company still hasn't paid us. Steve, a rep from the company called us a couple of times and said, if you want to get paid on your judgement, your going to need to sign an agreement drawn up by our lawyers agreeing to not post any negative reviews and to take down the one that we posted. I purchased cabinets on August 4th. Order # 634145. They sent me the wrong refrigerator end panel. I checked my order and I ordered the right panel. They just sent me the wrong panel. We just finished assembling and installing 12 new kitchen cabs from BWC. Overall, I was pleased with the ease of ordering, cost, quality and shipping. However, I was very unhappy with the assembly instructions and found instructions from other RTA vendors to be better. IMHO, the price and quality were on par with IKEA, but assembly was more difficult. Good: The boxes are solid 1/2" plywood, fit together perfectly, and have beautifully finished exteriors. The order was correct and was delivered punctually. No parts were missing. The final product was worth the aggravation to assemble, and my wife loves them. My installer, who is very picky, was impressed. Bad: Assembly ranged from simple to nightmarish, depending on the cabinet type. Basic base and wall cabs were straight-forward and the videos were adequate. On the other hand the videos went completely off the rails with the corner cabs. I made the mistake of trying to do the corner wall cab first, because it was the top box on the pallet. I found an official BWC video on YouTube (v=MHAoYOVAPiw) and watched it several times to see if I could figure it out. I don't have time to describe everything that was wrong with the video, but suffice it to say that the single sheet that came with the cab was more useful. Today as I write this review, I found excellent instructions from another vendor for what appears to be the same cabinet (v=N5wF7XexAXg). I checked the prices from this other vendor and found BWC to be much cheaper. (Must be because of all the money they saved making god-awful videos.) Random Tips: * Don't use regular white carpenter's glue for the dados. It does not adhere well to varnish or gloss paint. Instead use industrial adhesive with a caulk gun. * Don't use a simple electric drill or screwdriver for screwing in the billion or so screws. Instead use an impact driver, which looks like a drill, but is so much faster and easier. * You don't need the 3/4" stapler to attach the front frames, like they do in the videos. You can use the brad-nailer with 3/4" brads instead. * Start with simple base and wall cabs before taking on the corner cabs. * Links to assembly instructions can be found on the shopping pages in the details for each cabinet. The links all take you to the same PDF which kind of explains how to assemble all the cabinets. You can also find the instructions for most of the cabs by searching YouTube. * Try to get some help from friends to do the assembly. A second set of hands helps hold one piece while you attach the others. I got four people to help me over several days, and I think it took us about 60 person hours total to assemble the 12 cabs, including drawers, doors and handles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Absurdly BWC shut off comments on their YouTube videos, probably because of the very poor quality of some of them. I tried to get them to turn on comments but they ignored me.
