The staff are super helpful and friendly which makes the shopping experience all the better. I was glad to see they were also taking precautions by wearing masks and gloves. This store is one of the best surplus stores that I have ever found. I didn't know what to expect but I always like to discover new places. It was so much bigger inside than it appeared outside. I needed to update my camping equipment and I found a modular sleep system in excellent condition at a really reasonable price. I had a dog tag made for my doggo and that was very interesting to watch them make it on a really old authentic machine. I looked around and tried to remember everything that they carry so that I know where to find it in the future. I met a soldier there that arrived home and was moved by his story. All in all a really good experience. I would recommend Uncle Sam's Army Navy as a great place to shop. This time I came in to find some cold weather gear because I'm heading out on a backpacking trip and didn't want to freeze out in the cold. They actually have an excellent selection of thermals and polypro head to toe. I got geared up and also got some waterproof gore-tex to keep dry. Basically was able to find everything I needed for my camping trip in one place which was great.

I've been to all the other, bigger outdoors stores (it's hard to think of Sportsman's as small, but comparatively, it sure is) and SW has got to be my favorite. Maybe it's just the stuff I'm selecting, but the prices are always better here for the stuff that I'm actually going to use, and buy frequently. There are several fishing lures I prefer, and they're always a buck or so less here. I frequently pick up a canister of fuel for my backpacking stove, and it's reasonably priced, Backpacking meals, always a good selection. Beyond that, it seems that they do a much better job of carrying products appropriate for our climate, for the landscape, for the species of fish or fowl or beast you might be looking for--it just feels like a local shop, but with big shop lower prices. Rarely do I find a product that's just silly to carry for Utah, but elsewhere I'm always finding that. Kudos to being a bigger place but keeping it local. Get your backpack, tent, gun, ammo, fishing pole, rods, reels, line, lures, clothes, smokers, meat grinders, boat supplies, flashlight, hydration bladder, Dutch oven, and a bajillion other things here.

There HVAC is LOUD however did do its job to keep the gasses vented. Now my disappointments. 1st they only had 2 double person parties they litterally put us side by side no separation so we constantly stumbled on each other. Second is if you are going to build a 50 yard range at least make a couple station friendly for rifle shooting on a rest. Nope they were all stand up for pistol shooting. Then 3rd if you are a veteran (I am not but I witnessed them at the counter tell a veteran!) they only give discounts on their overly priced membership. Not single day which cracks me up. If you're a tactical store veterans should be your best friend. All that said I'd give it an average review but would not recommend them. I've been to a ton of ranges and am a registered 4h shooting instructor in Wyoming. There is a ton of improvement here and a whole lot of potential. Really nice building!!

I sure was able to pay Utahfast the fee for that service no problem, but taking transfer of the firearm from them to me? NOPE. I cannot get a callback after leaving numerous voicemails, I cannot get a reply after numerous emails, nothing. The item was delivered to them on 8/20 and signed for by P. K****e at 1:20pm. I am on hold with Riverton PD now to see what next steps are. As it stands there is a firearm sold to me that is 100% unaccounted for as far as I am concerned. Lame!!
