There are legends told around camp fires in California of the existence of such places, and I am here to verify that the legends are true. From accessories and add-ons' to the hole punchers themselves. The Indoor Range: For the paltry price of $14.00 per hour you can rent a standard retriever lane, plus $10.00 per additional participant, with a maximum of three participants per lane. It's like shooting Hole Punchers in the house and you can bring friends. The range is well lit, the temperature is temped not needing a jacket or windbreaker and the ventilation system is superb. The ventilation of an indoor range is very important due to the expended powder and primer residue as well as the "Smoke" produced by some brands of cartridges. The range is free form and at your own pace. There is a Range Master observing, ensuring there are no safety violations such as the Lasering / flagging of others or taking a loaded Hole Puncher back to the muster (Preparation) tables, etc. Just a note, some rapid fire is discouraged and some monitoring may be necessary. This is to prevent muzzle climb and shooting the ceiling. You may be able to throw down some triple taps or mag-dump your semi-automatic Hole Puncher; however someone else will attempt to copy-cat you and may not have the skill or discipline to prevent the muzzle rise when rapid firing semi-automatic Hole Puncher or revolving Hole Punchers. Rent a Hole Puncher: Don't own a Hole Puncher yet? No problem! They have Hole Puncher rentals from the small caliber .380 Autos, to 45 Cal. and the big boy Long Hole Punchers. If you have questions, the staff is very helpful and will take the time to get it right for you and your specific needs. If you need a beginner's class, advanced or tactical Hole Puncher or a CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) class, they have it. Rent a few different semi-automatic Hole Punchers and revolving Hole Punchers and find one that matches what you are using it for (Home defense, Personal Defense, Target Shooting, semi-automatic Hole Puncher and revolving Hole Puncher Hunting), and what will match you. Batteries for your Hole Punchers: They have a decent amount of ammunition. If they do not have it in-stock, they can order it for you. Imagine the brands that you are looking for, and they have it. Conclusion: Overall it is a great experience. I have been shooting since the age of five, I'm former U.S. Coast Guard, I was a federal firearms instructor and have been exposed to a myriad of weapons,... and I was impressed with their set-up. Truthfully, I am a little jealous and if I had lottery money, I would put a similar type of range in the basement of the house. One of the nicest indoor ranges I have had the privilege of using! All the targets is from Action Target of Provo. The targets are attached to a overhead hanger system and are sent out and retrieved by a self operating switch in your shooting bay. The store itself has a very extensive inventory of almost anything you may need, whether it be slings or cases or cleaning items and clothing. They also have a coffee bar with Black Rifle coffee products and a small selection of pastries. The highlight is the two puppies, Gunner and Kenai! Now if they bring the potbelly, it would be worth a trip to just hang out there. read more

I'm not exactly sure what happened recently but all my favorite employees no longer work there and when I asked someone what happened I guess there was a change in ownership and now things are terrible! We were looking for something to do on a Sunday in Utah. We stopped by to check it out. Very nice store and staff. Well stocked and lots of variety. I have taken my older son shooting once before and thought my younger one would like to give it a try. They have a nice range setup and viewing area. They helped him pick a ruger .22 pistol. We picked out a target and had a good time. He wants to try other types of weapons so I'm sure we'll do this again. If we are in the area, we'll be back. Never had a bad experience here. As a fairly new g*n owner, Ready Gunner has been my go-to for just about everything g*n-related. The employees are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, the training is top-notch, and the range is the best around. Customer service has always been great and they've always been quick to help resolve any issues (I've personally dealt with Amanda and Luke and they've both been excellent to work with). They've also done a ton of work on their website lately, and it's a much better, streamlined experience than it was a year ago. I've bought almost all of my g*ns from them and plan to buy many more. read more

Definitely could've been better. Giving it 2 stars because I've been a long-time fan of RG, met Neil and Casey at a FitCon expo a few years ago... Went in last weekend, Saturday 8/27, and was outright disappointed. First off, the staff was entirely unhelpful. Some kid walked past my wife and I like 4 times, making eye contact with us each time and not saying a word. Just chatting with his buddies at the rental side of the store. Eventually, the older guy working on some background paperwork for someone else asked us if we needed help, I, of course, said yes, and the same kid that had walked past us was assigned to help us (because now I guess since someone told him what to do he "had time"). He was semi-helpful, lacking knowledge of what inventory was on hand, and when I asked to see a specific firearm he said they had a similar model and walked away (I stood there because I was assuming he was going to get the similar model - but nope, that wasn't the case). My wife found a shirt that she liked, we checked out and left for "Gunnies" down the street and had a much better experience. 2nd point - I am a huge fan of small businesses in Utah, but ReadyGunner is overpricing their firearms/accessories. Due to this, and my issues described above, I will likely never return. read more

This place is the best. Every time I go in, they are helpful, friendly and positive. The staff answered some difficult questions I had and didn't make me feel like an idiot for what seemed to me dumb questions. The armorer/smith Ryan is top notch and knows his stuff. The prices are competitive and the stock for parts is good even during shortages. Obviously don't expect to find the firearm or ammo you want since there's a nationwide shortage right now. The staff is way cool. They helped me find a HoloSun to go with a build. They also gave me pointers and help with my own build. The targets are cool too. I've been here a few times now. I wanted to give it a little time before I wrote a review. I purchased a complete lower and a pistol fore grip from them, about 3 weeks apart. The prices were fine, maybe a little expensive, but in the early 2021 political/pandemic climate, most gun places are. They have a nice showroom and a good variety of merchandise. That is really nice. The staff are a mixed bag. I really liked one or two of the guys that helped me, but a couple of the guys there were a little off-putting. I don't expect to have a red carpet rolled out for me or to be worshipped for my patronage, but a little less of the cool guy attitude would be nice. This is a nearly ubiquitous problem with gun shop employees and many others in the gun-enthusiast-community. I mean I get it, working in a gun shop is probably really cool to a young guy, and he probably does feel special doing it, but I have a lot more admiration for my plumber who has actual skills than the 20-something dude at a gun store who can somewhat efficiently retrieve orders from the stockroom at a store. But that is a small gripe for an otherwise well run store. read more

Came to SLC, Utah with a buddy of mine all the way from Texas and one place I wanted to check out was ReadyGunner because they have a good social media presence and I actually work at a range very similar in "style". My friend found a few guns he wanted to buy with optics and a mount, all in total he spent over $4k. Of course after he buys them, he wants to shoot them so our main task was to get the scope mounted. The guy who was helping us initially told us we could use the tools to mount it due to the fact their gunsmith was gone (understandable). The initial guy ended up leaving somewhere to not be seen again so we asked Willy who was super helpful the whole time and he said to ask one of the guys in the red shirt for the tools. I explained to the guy in the red shirt what we were trying to do and asked if we could borrow the tools and he replied "yea I don't think that's what he said." As someone who works in the industry I understand what he meant by that statement and I don't appreciate it. If the gunsmith leaving was the issue, that should have just been stated as I fully understand you can't give every customer full access to everything and not everyone who works behind that counter knows how to do the work properly. If that was issue, just say that up front next time instead of treating me like an idiot for wanting to help my friend who spends that much money for one sitting. 2 stars instead of 1 just plainly due to Willy and the guy who helped us initially. To the guy in the red shirt, please understand every customer may not be the typical one you get daily; there are others out there who are much more experienced and knowledgeable than you are. read more

I came here with our motorcycle club for the first time. Wow this place is huge. They are very good to help you and so personable. There are lots of lanes and we were able to get through quickly as we were doing a poker run. My husband and I plan on returning for some alone practice. They also have a good inventory of guns and accessories. Very tempting! read more

Good store but some of the staff seem like they have no idea what they're doing or talking about. On one occasion I called in to see if they had a part I was looking for. Guy on the phone said Yes they have it. So, I came in and when I got there the part was no where to be found. I left empty handed with a "sorry about that." Next occasion I had a couple firearms delivered for a transfer. I called and was told both were ready for pickup. When I got there they couldn't "find" the one of the rifles. I was told it probably hadn't been in processed yet. So, because of the incompetence of some of their staff I'm having to take multiple trips out of my way. Is it the end of the world, no. But, for such a nice store there's a higher expectation to the staffing of it. I will likely take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Best place to go! I was blown away at my last experience here! My husband was in the range while I was trying to occupy my 1.5 year old, when the worker told me they have a bunch of toys for kids in the classroom so I was able to entertain my child while my husband got practice in. Best experience yet! We have purchased from their helpful staff and participated in their community pumpkin carving contest as well. I love that they think of the whole family -from carrying infant ear protection and activities everyone can get involved in. We have taken classes here as well and they only hire the BEST and most entertaining instructors. We are definitely lifelong customers and will keep coming back. Thank you! read more

My family and I have supported RG ever since they had their small shop in Provo and it was just Neal and Willy. I've spent a small fortune supporting the "little guy" but I'll never step foot in the store again. The prices are high, the layout is weird and the racks of guns far away. The store had the feel of going to the airport, lots of employees standing around looking at their phones ignoring you. I had to beg the snowflakes there to take my $1100 which I deeply regret. Have at least 1 adult who can act accordingly and who knows what customer service is. Also, don't buy suppressors here. I've bought several at other places and the process was painless. I tried to buy one at RG and the kid gave me the receipt and went back to playing grab ass with his buddy. They'll leave you twisting in the wind and you'll waste both your time and money. Go somewhere where they will help and guide you throughout the process. I know folks don't read reviews anymore and that owners and employees don't give a rat's ass about anything other than getting your money, which is a shame. Customers should matter. People should treat others how they want to be treated. You used to be able to count on conservative, gun loving people to treat you right. Ive made the 40 min drive from Salt Lake twice now because i kept hearing good things about this place but so far i haven't seen anything special. They heavily market that they have a coffee shop inside that sells black rifle coffee but both times I've been there, there is no one behind the counter and it just looks closed. The employees behind the counter are on their phones or having social hour making jokes and wont come and ask if you need any help. You literally have to wave at one to come help you. They have a HUGE selection of guns but they're all overpriced. Their cheapest 9mm box was 20 bux, Gunnies down the street has better quality 9mm for 17. And also besides filling out your 4473 form you have to fill out another sheet with the exact same info plus email and phone number so they can spam you with ads. One funny thing though is how some employees were wearing 'Dont Tread On Me' clothing and 'Dont Comply' stickers but they wont sell you a suppressor unless the ATF tells them its ok hahaha read more

I've bought a two firearms from Ready Gunner - and I was a range member there for a year. Most of their employees seem like nice guys - and my range experience there has always been nice. So why the 1 star review? For starters, their prices on most items are 10-15% higher than other gun stores in Orem. But it gets worse. I was given incorrect prices on two items in the same day - I was told an $80 item was $50. (It came out to $85 after tax) And even a less expensive item was also off - I was told it was $35. It was $40. (Just under $43 after tax). My wife had an even worse experience buying a builders kit. It was listed on their website for $200. She called ahead and asked if she could just buy one in person for $200. The person on the phone said that was fine. When she came in, the sticker said $250. The salesman in the store wouldn't sell it for $200 - she had to order it online. So she drove home and ordered it. A few hours later, she got a message saying it was ready for pickup - they made her drive back and forth instead of just selling it for the listed price online. They give their salesmen commission - a percentage of whatever they sell. This explains the higher prices - but it also encourages them to upsell you. Some of their employees take an elitist attitude - they tell you that you have to buy the expensive, premium brands to get a quality firearm. (I'm all about the premium stuff, but it doesn't fit everyone's needs) I could (maybe) overlook some of these issues if the salesmen were really knowledgeable - but their level of expertise on firearms is closer to a sporting goods store employee than a gun store salesman. Ready Gunner salesmen talk like frat guys - they brag about this and that, swagger around and think they're cool. They also use profane language - and will argue with you if your preferences don't align with theirs. Also, they may say "masks required" but they don't wear them. So if that bothers you... go somewhere else. I've never encountered any of these problems at Gunnies - which is right up the road. read more

Place is nice, but management sucks. I bought a gun and the guy told me it would come with the 2 19 round and 1 17 round mag, after I check out and on my way home I see it only has 10 round mags, which look identical to the 17 rounders. So I take it back to see what they can do for me and they flat out said there was nothing they could do. The employe went in the back and gave me the wrong gun package. He gave me the California compliance one and because of his mistake it cost me an extra $70 in mags because they did absolutely nothing to help me out. They wouldn't even let me talk to a manger. Extremely unprofessional and an awful way to run your business. I'll never be buying from them again and telling all my friends to never buy from them either. read more

Liked this place to start. Spent thousands there on guns, ammo, holsters etc. The free membership with purchase was cool. I kept it as the range is open later and sundays. I work a lot and don't have as much time to shoot as I wish I did. So when I find it 90 mins- 2 hours at the range is enjoyable as it doesn't happen too often. I'm safe, clean, responsible and respectful at the range as we all should be. As I'm shooting (ammo, gun, red dot, holster all purchased here) they tell me After 50 mins I have to leave in 5 mins. I said I have a membership and was told I could shoot as much as I want with it. He said 5 minutes. I get if there's a line waiting to shoot, I'm not rude and everyone should get to have fun. There were empty lanes, as well as kids loitering in the staging area the whole time I was there until I left. I respectfully left my lane and went to the register to cancel my membership. Kid gave me a bunch of attitude and gave me an email to cancel the membership. I liked this place so it's sad they don't appreciate the thousands of dollars I've spent here over the last few months. Or fulfill what they sell, a membership to shoot as much as you like. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I am from Nebraksa but travel for work often. I've been in thousands of gun shops all over the nation and I have to say, this is one of the nicest, well laid out facilities I've ever been in. They have great selections of anything you can think of with knowledgeable staff that treat you like you're family. I wish I could make it out there more often. read more

Excellent gun shop - very informative and helpful staff - many gun shops treat you like an idiot if you don't know guns (sometimes even if you do) but these folks were very helpful - great inventory - only place I can find all the ammo I want without being limited to how much I can buy; and at great prices.
