After confirming at 9 AM the day before start, I received a call from Western at 3 PM to let us know they had just taken a large tree removal project and would not be able to start the following day as committed pushing us out to an indeterminate start date. A respected contractor referred us to Steamboat Lightscapes who were not only able to fit us in their schedule two weeks later but also performed with the utmost professional and integrity. Dustin was in constant communication with us from start to finish and his team were self-driven, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. We had 6 very large trees to remove and all were taken down without any damage to anything on our property. The job was started and completed on time and exceeded all expectations. I can't recommend their services highly enough. If you want a company that will stand by their commitment and perform with the highest standards, Steamboat Lightscapes is the absolute best choice. Had some pretty gnarly ice dams on our roof a few years back that led to some inside leakage and our HOA provided snow removal guys damaged our gutters. Luckily this year, we saw Mountain Properties & Landscapes working on a nearby house, gave them a call and was able to setup an appointment for the next day. Jay shows up promptly and was just about the nicest person you can imagine and proceeds to spend the next 6 hours 35+ feet up on the roof clearing the ice dams. Very professional and really couldn't ask for more; at a fair price and much better than having to deal busted gutters and/or water leaking inside the house. I'm a first time homeowner and don't really have a lot of knowledge regarding irrigation systems. Not to mention the previous homeowner left the system in dismay. Dennis was extremely helpful taking the time to explain every detail to me about the control box, valves, and heads, all while teaching Jake (in training) new skills. When we found out the control clock was fried, he warned me against certain brands and was kind enough to go out of his way to purchase one through a local distributor, saving me time and money, and allowing for me to get a high quality clock without having to wait for shipping or settling for lower quality. He also came back to my property a second time. After the initial troubleshooting kept him longer than expected, he had to leave, so as to not be late for his next appointments, assuring me he would come back at the end of his day. Sure enough he and Jake returned to finish the job just as promised and once the system was up an running, Dennis walked around the property checking to make sure everything was in working order, explaining things and replacing broken parts along the way. It all ended with a firm handshake and a new loyal customer! The price was very reasonable, and even less than I was quoted from some competitors. To say I'm impressed is an understatement.
