In previous years we were happy using and referring Eddie and his crew, however things have changed. He met my husband at a house where we wanted post construction interior cleaning and the windows cleaned. He said they are no longer doing cleaning other than windows. He made no mention at this time that he was booked through the end of June. Most companies would let you know this when first contacting them. In addition to this, we referred him to a real estate agent colleague who had him clean a client's house at the beginning of the year and Eddie went crazy when they paid him the day after the job rather than the day of. Very unprofessional. Booked an appointment online, nobody showed up at the scheduled time of 11:30a. Called the numbers listed in the confirmation email and nobody answered, left several messages. Received a call from an anonymous phone number at 12pm saying the cleaning crew was running late and they should be here by 12:30pm. It is now 1:15pm and nobody has shown up and I have not received any phone calls. Called again, no answer and left several messages again. Wasted my whole morning and afternoon waiting for them. At one time these guys were it! I've used them and recommended them to others as well. For some reason they've gone to hell in a hand basket. No customer service at all! A woman responded once and said she'd get back to me in a day with their availability and that never happened. Several phone calls and text messages over a 2 week period and nothing! At the very least one would expect the minimum courtesy of a response. Even to tell me to F off! Oh well plenty of window washers in the sea! read more

Made an appointment online for 9am. Got a text message from Eddie the night before the cleaning was suppose to take place saying that 9am was not available for cleaning and they can come at 11:30 instead, fine. The next day its noon and no one has shown up, so I called and after going back and forth for 10 minutes trying to find my cleaning crew, they said it was going to be another 20 minutes because they were running late. A post construction cleaning is a lot of work, everything was beautifully cleaned. Diego and Angel came out today and did an excellent job with my windows and screens. My windows are completely spotless! The guys arrived on time, they put on booties to cover their shoes, and they got right to work. Probably were here for about 2-1/2 hours working on my house here in Huntington Beach. They worked expeditiously, and did a very thorough job. Window sills were also cleaned out perfectly. I actually called several companies and priced around before deciding to go with By The Sea.
