A thoughtfully created with wonderful fruits and veggies and LOADS MORE GOODIES... Such a very special place ..... fabulous Georgia Peaches just arrived, sweet Watermelon, Beefsteak & Roma Tomatoes, Kirby Cukes, Honey, etc... Homemade Salsa's, Soups, Salads, Banana, Blueberry & Carrot Cake Bread that is so very moist.... Hummus in many different flavors, soups, black bean salad, fish dip,etc... and loads of other goodies .... they have everything & anything you may need. They do carry a variety of Conventional as well as Organic products. Owned by Roque and Kristy ... always a pleasure to visit. Many Blessings to them for serving the surrounding areas of Pompano Beach, Ft Lauderdale & Coral Ridge Isles all of these many years. Kristy is a very kind person.

This small fruit stand / convenience store in Pompano, just north of the Fort Lauderdale city line is in a little strip mall, next to a gas station. They have very nice selection of fruits, chips, dips and refrigerated items. Many of their offerings are high end and of very good quality. The prices are a bit high compared to a grocery store, but again, the quality is very high. Sometimes you can find some things that you could not find anywhere else like their mahi mahi or smoked salmon dip...they are very good... Their freshly squeezed OJ is also very good (about $5 for a quart). Check it out. Hours are limited, so be mindful of that.

This small produce place has been here for some time -- over 15 years ... so I was surprised that I hadn't done a review of it before. It's tucked away off cypress (18th) on McNab -- the portion that ends at the tracks. So it's not the easiest to find unless you know the area. It's right next to a pizza place that has changed its name recently to Pie-Zano's. I always wondered if there was religious connection from their store name... and there are a couple of "positive thinking" signs around. But I've never asked. It wouldn't make any difference either way. They have a little bit of everything including organic produce. Plus some home made soups and the like. Everything is clean and nicely displayed inside. Some items are reasonable and some are expensive -- you have to know your prices. But all items look fresh and gorgeous. The tomatoes are so red you'll think they're painted. The lemons bright yellow. On the counter this time, they had a couple types of California oranges cut up to try. One was so good (it looked almost like a blood orange) that I actually bought one orange for $1! I found plum tomatoes, fresh dill, that orange, some apples, parsnips, and a couple other items. If you're in the neighborhood, stop on by....and "buy" their fruits (and veggies).

By Their Fruits (thought it should say "Buy" but it doesn't) is a small somewhat of a hole in the wall retail produce establishment that has been there since 2001. But by my use of the terms small or hole in the wall doesn't mean it isn't any good. To the contrary, it's great. They have a wide ranging selection with some of the best displays of produce I've ever come across, but best of all, it's all fresh, tasty and reasonably price. Another plus is the friendly service and the fact that they are more than willing to let you sample a slice of peach or whatever before you purchase. I can assure you that the quality of what you'll find here is far way and again better than what you'll find at a Publix or a Winn Dixie as By Their Fruit produce doesn't sit around in a warehouse but is shipped directly into them three to four times a week. The tomato display alone is one of the biggest best laid out around and they also have in house hummus, juices and salsas. They have an interesting video of their outlet on the web at: http://cluevideo.com/by-their-fruit. So, for a little specialty produce store, I'm going Five Stars.

Average quality, high prices. Their old location was bomb and this one is a dud…read more In my humble opinion, the pompano store rocked. 80% of their items were fair priced and 20% were great bargains! They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

More like a 2.5 today. It's sad because I really liked shopping here…read more I don't know what happened to the store. They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

Celebrating our engagement anniversary and new year's eve, we wanted decadent food. Fresh Market…read moredidn't carry any caviar (best thing that couldda happened) so I turned to Yelp and saw a listing for Caviar & Caviar (aka Sasanian Caviar) - on Nob Hill Road in Sunrise. There's a caviar company right down the road? Wow. Who knew? On their site, I selected a couple (how can you get just 1 when you learn how each is spectacular?). I live nearby and didn't want my box bouncing in the back of a delivery truck. I could have it in my fridge in a half hour of picking it up. So I called and spoke with Cat, who took my order and offered to deliver it the next day even though they don't offer delivery. I'm a first time customer and they did it! THAT is some service! I bought caviar, mother of pearl spoons (no metal on caviar), French and Russian blini (little pancakes), and Imperial saffron threads (couldn't resist). Cat also gave me a gift - a caviar carrying case - you know, for those times when you need an insulated caviar bag! The caviar. Pul-lease. Fresh, nearly creamy, not overly salty (when buying, look for "malossol" Russian for 'little salt'), the caviar was beautiful. I ordered 1 ounce jars but you can get jars and tins up to 35 ounces. We got: River Beluga Kaluga Caviar - From the delicate, lightly brined eggs to it's rich green oil, this was my fav. Per their site, "The scarcest and currently the only ethical and sustainable alternative to wild Caspian Beluga Caviar... In 2005 the United States Fish and Wildlife banned the import of wild Caspian Beluga Caviar. Prior to the ban, we had reserved a stock of farmed Kaluga Sturgeon with anticipation of its first production in 2009. Ever since, we have been offering an unmatchable selection of Sasanian Kaluga hybrid Caviar within the United States." Elite Reserve Oscietra Caviar - Loved this. It was lightly briny and clean-flavored. Per their site, this is " ...the crème de la crème of Caviar. This is our prime selection of high grade Oscietra Caviar. We base the grading of this Caviar on the factors of pearl size, texture, color and flavor. With rigorous specifications, we call this limited selection of high grade imported Oscietra Caviar, Elite. Only 5-10% of our annual production meets the standards to be graded as Elite Oscietra by our specialists." Osetra Supreme - a farmed, American, white sturgeon caviar. The taste was also clean but it wasn't as spectacular as the Kaluga - but then again nothing was. I wasn't suffering, it IS caviar and it was tasty. We'll definitely buy caviar and other gourmet items (foie gras, mushrooms, squid ink, truffle oil, etc.) from them. Cat was wonderful. This company has the goods - great products and service. Making poppers of blini with caviar, sour cream, finely diced egg yolks, egg whites, capers, red onion and shallots, we giggled and smiled widely. Yeah baby. Happy anniversary. Happy new year. Pass me another blini. .

I called them and the lady (Masha) on the phone was wonderful! She took the time to explain the differences between the types, taste, and appearance. She explained the accompaniments. I specified the date I wanted it to be delivered and it arrived right within the time frame they told me. The caviar was perfect. My father-in-law was happily surprised with this gift. He told me the blinis were as if just made after only throwing them into the microwave. He grew up with Caspian caviar, which is banned from coming into the United States now, and this caviar reminded him of home. Hands down best present reaction I've gotten from my in-laws! Have and would recommend this company friends and family!
