    Rose hip spread

I passed this and it looked so cute so I went in and it did not disappoint. They had so many spreads, jams, kosher foods, and a good variety of produce! We got lychees, apple butter, rose hip spread, pomegranates, arugula, and a couple more things for $20, very well priced and the service was wonderful. I would highly suggest checking them out!! J & J is the type of place you can't help but stop in, even if you don't need anything. I have been a few times, and come back more often than not for the same reason, it's homey. It has a farmers market feel, yet its smaller than some local convenience stores. I walked in last weekend because I needed tomatoes. I wasn't really in the neighborhood but thought it worth the drive just for the ambiance. I walked it to the cozy place. The smells of fresh produce and the friendly faces that say Hi as you walk in Are already worth the stop in. As happens at farmers markets, I have 6 different items in my basket before I knew it. They had a good price on some spaghetti squash that looked great. I also couldn't help but grab some asparagus and a good looking onion. I had to hustle up to the counter to pay before my basket load turned into a cart load. I walked out with the best of produce, virtually was locally grown. As I sliced into my tomato later in the day I was happy I had made the extra drive to J & J. It was scrumptious.

    All these for $12!!!

One of the best farmer's markets in the area. The selection is not gigantic, but all the popular items are there... my favorites, at a fraction of the price, include: bell peppers, corn (no peeling, so look for wetter hush), cilantro and other herbs, beets, green bean, potatoes , yucca, and citrus fruits.

I unfortunately have to give this business a 1 star rating. But I would like to start with what I liked about this location. I've seen it many times in my passing and gladly had a moment to come in for the first time and check it out. When I stepped in and walked around, it was very reminiscent of a fruit and vegetable stand I frequented as a child. The nostalgic memories really brought my some joy. I was quickly reminded that racial profiling still is something I must pay attention to. As I entered and walked around, the woman at the register eyed me down several times and did not speak to me verbally. There were about 5 other customers in the story who visually were different looking than myself, I could hear the woman working asking the other customers about products that caught their eye. Sad to say, this strongly discouraged me from purchasing what I can in to buy - bananas. I can confidently say I will not be coming back to this business, as the customer service made me feel terribly uncomfortable and unwanted. I hope no one else has to experience this.

Love this place. They have weekly deals listed at the front of the store. They also have a ton of options for their homemade BBQs, salsas and salad dressings. I won't get those items from anywhere else now. Only giving it 4 stars because both times I've been it was an extremely slow check out process. To me that's not a big deal but may be for others.

Made the drive from Miami to support J & J Farms, they really do have the FRESHEST produce and the best prices.

Made the drive from Miami to support J & J Farms, they really do have the FRESHEST produce and the best prices. When I lived in the area I used to bike ride to their store and now I drive almost 20 miles to pick up fresh produce. Everything is locally grown too. #shopsmall #supportlocal

J&J Farms reminds me of a little country store that you stop on the side of the road for. They have beautiful fruits, vegetables, and plants at reasonable prices. They have friendly, speedy help to take care of your questions and to check you out in the front of the store. Their parking lot is a little strange--one way in and one way out, but it works. J&J has some of the most beautiful tomatoes in town. They really are worth your time if you need some herbs, nuts, juice, fruit or vegetables for a recipe or just to enjoy. I highly recommend this beautiful little store!

He came back with everything on my list and more. So this week when in the area, I wanted to stop by and check it out myself. They have a lot of produce. All very nicely arranged and marked clearly with price signs. Some items are quite reasonable -- especially those items in sale. Most are at a good price or comparable to your local market. They also have a section of ready to eat cooked food and other deli items in a cooler. I did get another container of chopped chicken liver as I'd really like the one we tried before. I liked the fact that some of the cooked foods were in small portions for 1 or 2 people. What I didn't expect was the shelves of international food items -- from British to Mexican. These shelves line one wall. The place isn't large, but it certainly will have most of the fruits and veggies you're looking for. My husband thought their jumbo eggs were a real bargain, too. I'm sure we will be back when next in the area.

This place is small but is well stocked with fresh fruits and veggies, precooked traditional meals, side dish items and foods from around the world, not to mention fresh Jumbo Eggs for $1.39. The inside is bright, clean and inviting, with friendly staff members to help you find items you may have passed over. They offer specials to enjoy and save some $$$, as well as bakery items from locals. As you get near the rear of the store you can smell some of the delicious aromas from items they are cooking up fresh. Prices are modest and better than the supermarket chains. If you are looking for some ready meals or are planning on cooking a meal yourself, here is where you will want to come to complete your shopping list.
