I was building an office and the goal of the building was that it looked like it was built the same time the house and garage was built. Jon and his crew showed up and they were seriously the most cordial group of people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They got the job done as promised and as bidded (RARE!). Then, they cleaned up the site so well that not one speck of stucco was anywhere except on the building. And the work is perfect, the stucco matches perfectly. No contractor puts up crown mounding before finishing ceiling drywall! Stop lying about your work or I will post the truth: You have a long list of felony and criminal convictions. Shall I go into details with these facts? Is this why you sent erratic and angry emails at all hours of the night? Your demands for immediate payments and accusations of conspiracy are unprofessional and purely lies. The photos of my home show your awful work. Shall I post updated photos of your drywall several months later with even more visible seams and cracks? Your unsupervised workers created crooked wobbly walls in our den and bathroom. I understand you don't believe me because you weren't there to see or check their work. But every contractor and sub that has looked to help us has said the same thing, shoddy poor work. Both these rooms were taken down to the studs. Your men rebuilt the walls crooked, even the corners. How can you say you would have fixed that if we didn't fire you?? You said they looked good to you! Fix the drywall with what, a little spackle again or mud here and there, like the spackle smears your man did to hide the the damaged doors?? Then apply a little paint over the tape again? The drywall seams are pulling and curling, even worse now than when I took these pictures months ago. It needs to be redone. Stop pretending you know how to do the work. Our drywall is NOT level 4, which is what we paid for. You pretended the drywall was done. Pay me now you demanded. You pretended your workers applied 2 coats of paint. Pay me now you demanded. But everyone that sees our house is shocked that you claim it has level 4 drywall or adequate paint. The truth is you ran out of money and couldn't do the work properly. Every area your workers entered was damaged. I have the photos and video to prove it. Demanding payment immediately, so we paid but there are NOT 2 coats of paint. You damaged our wood floors by demoing without protecting them, then blamed us for the damage. Shall I post the proof of this?? You accused us of mopping and damaging a floor. You damaged one of a kind solid wood doors with tools, smearing SPACKLE to hide the dings your "unequipped" worker made (your adjective not mine). You let the "unequipped" one paint the ceiling without any hallway wall protection letting paint go down the walls. You damaged the downstairs hallway, millwork, and then blamed us for it. Your workers smeared paint down the walls and over doors. Next time show up and supervise your workers. Do not come to a homeowners house at 7am demanding an unannounced walk thru and yelling at them in front of their small children like you did to us because we have to go to work. And stop writing threatening emails, texts demands for payments at 4am. I suggest you take responsibility for the harm you have caused our family by damaging our property. If you do not remove the lies in your response to my review, I will consider further appropriate legal action.

Have always found his work to be excellent, thorough and completed in a timely manner. If the proposed project is not something he does personally, like plumbing, he has competent and licensed people he hires. He gets the required permits for projects and is upfront about where there may be issues that are not readily apparent. He is friendly and willing to discuss projects to find the best way, and sometimes cost saving ways, to do the work.

American MasterCraft's name was presented to us directly during the referral and communications related to this project, and the individual who performed the work identified himself as operating under that association. At no point were we informed that this was unauthorized or unrelated to your company until after the work was left incomplete and concerns were raised. Barry, himself, along with my 3 witnesses that personally saw Barry, Jason and the gentlemen with a ford truck There is documentation, including messages and representations, connecting the work performed to American MasterCraft and affiliated business names. . From the homeowner's perspective, workers arrived at our residence, performed partial work (Which still remains unfinished), accepted payment, attempted to change pricing mid-project, failed to complete the agreed scope, and then ceased communication. Lets not forget after contacting me (barry), Barry sent out Jason the very next day at 10am, i made Jason called Barry in front of me, my wife, my father and a worker at our home that we had to paused service for while Jason came by, Barry answered the phone and said he said he sent Jason to do a estimate. Regardless of internal authorization disputes, the result for our family was and is the same: incomplete and damaged work with no resolution. Jason did receive payment with a receipt from us as he didn't have one on him and we have the bank statement after he kept pressuring us to pay him. If your company name was misused, that is a serious issue that you need to address with Jason & Barry, your worker you are denying, and one you should investigate internally. However, as the homeowner, I can only review and document what was presented to us and what occurred at our home along with what i, personally, experienced from this company. We are willing to communicate privately, We are willing to update or amend this review if the situation is resolved and the outstanding work and payments are addressed and handled. At this time, however, we have chosen to move forward by hiring another licensed contractor to repair and complete the work that was left unfinished. He and his foreman did really a good job adding insulation and patching the wall, resetting the countertop that was unleveled, replacing toe-kicks and put grout caulk. One thing was not done, and that is my fault not to communicate to him, is to reinstall drawer rails. Very recommended for anybody is looking for general contractor.
