We had two back to back very small bathrooms. We also had a hallway that went all the way through the interior of the house - from the front door to the master bathroom. Lots of wasted space. We asked Michael from Higgins Home Construction to close off the hallway where one of the bathroom doors was. This created space to open up the master bath, allowing a larger and upgraded shower to replace the outdated tiny shower. This also allowed us to put in a utility sink in the laundry room. My husband and I are very happy with the work that Higgins Home Construction did for us. Communication with Michael was easy with prompt replies to questions and requests. His team of plumbers, electrician, drywall, painters and others were all excellent. After each day's work, the work areas were left tidy and ready for the next work day. We ended up hiring this company again when because of water leakage from the outside, the carpet in a downstairs bedroom became water logged. During repair, it was discovered that the wall was just wood, no insulation or drywall. This was taken care of, the outdoor water leakage was repaired, and the carpet did not have to be replaced. We will definitely contract with Higgins Home Construction for future home improvement projects.

He listened to all my far-fetched ideas and was patient with me the entire time, but I eventually had to scale back some of those crazy ideas so I could stay within my budget. After many design iterations and so many wishful thinking, I finally decided on what was best for my backyard. Giovanni was very patient with my many changes and ideas and when I finalized the design, his awesome crew went to work. After 4 years of unused backyard space and being probably the last house on my block without a family backyard, I can now say we have a backyard that finally has an identity. The entire process was truly remarkable. Giovanni truly has a keen eye, great understanding and knowledge of materials, working with the materials vendors and providing feedback on changes in the design as well as provide suggestions as well as communicating the work to his fantastic crew that put many hours of physical labor, working under the elements and spending much time and effort to make all of this possible. His crew works hard and they communicate well together. Only the final day of work, I can see that even the crew was truly amazed at the final product that came to fruition with their own hands.
