What can I say about this girl?! Other than she's the queen of eyebrows!! Before I met her, I had to fill in my brows every single morning and honestly some days were rough because one side would look decent and the other one looked not as decent to say the least! Then Lauren came into the picture! I got my eyebrows microbladed about a year ago and they're still holding strong. I do not have to fill in my brows on a daily basis and they still look good and natural which is what I wanted. They're still holding up and I'm sure they'll last for the next year and when they fade, I'm going to be bouncing my butt back to her. FYI my skin is extremely sensitive and yes it crusted over the first few days and Lauren reminded me to trust the process and they turned out beautiful! I was also super nervous about the whole process but I could not feel a thing. In fact, I had a 5K before my appointment early in the morning and definitely knocked out while she microbladed my brows. Lauren is the SERIOUS bomb dot com when it comes to lash extensions. I've never had lash extensions before because I've seen some HORRIFIC stories and friends with weird spider looking lashes. But she killed it. She did one of my cousin's and they looked gorgeous two weeks on, so I had to try it before vacation. Because who wants to tote loads of mascara to Disney world??!? Not this girl. Honestly, super bummed. I read the ratings and was so excited to come to this appointment. I've been to a handful of brow specialist salons hoping to achieve a great brow mapping, but unfortunately this salon fell short. I walked in and she was very nice and I laid down and she got to work. This was my first time here so I expected a little more detail on what she was doing or how the mapping works, but silence. Trust me I don't like to chit chat in appts so I wasn't expecting a conversation. I knew this would be a wax-free zone. My skin gets irritated by the wax so this was a plus for me. But what I didn't realize is that the hair removal of choice would be shaving. The little face shaver was used and a tweezer was used only for a few thicker hairs. Pretty disappointed since the hair will grow back quicker. After she was done, my brows looked the exact same. Just less stray hairs. I had asked for more of and arch and they were just super flat still on top. I see all these amazing brow pictures on the site and I just didn't get the same result. read more
