I've had several lash lifts in the past and have always loved the results, although I had never had a brow lamination before. I went to Dallash the week before my wedding to have both done. First, my total was $285, not including the brow product I purchased from them, which is honestly outrageous considering the results. Also the grow gel I got literally DRIED up and is unusable about a week later, it was $35! Before starting, the girl doing my lashes mentioned that sometimes lashes don't respond as well to the treatment or curl completely. I understand that results can vary, but my lashes did not curl at all. Like not a bit. After an hour-and-a-half appointment, I genuinely could not tell a difference. No one acknowledged that the lift clearly hadn't taken or offered to correct it. She just said "next time you should get a tint so it's more noticeable" . I'm admittedly non-confrontational, so I didn't say anything at the time. The real issue was my brows. I don't know what product was used during the lamination, but somehow my brow hairs ended up about two shades lighter than my natural color and felt incredibly dry and unhealthy afterward. And the shape was honestly insane. You know the saying that eyebrows should look like sisters, not twins? Mine didn't look like twins, sisters, or even distant relatives. They looked like second cousins twice removed. I had to go home, panic, and try to fix them myself before my wedding. I also paid $40 for a brow wax and tweeze, and the waxing experience was awful. The wax was extremely painful when removed, yet somehow didn't seem to actually remove much of the hair. And yes, I fully realize that trying a brow lamination for the first time the week before my wedding probably wasn't the smartest decision. But I'm usually pretty Type B about this kind of stuff and genuinely don't care that much if something isn't absolutely perfect. I definitely wouldn't take the time to leave a bad review over a minor disappointment. It was truly just that bad. For the amount this salon charges, I expected a completely different level of service and results. Spending nearly $300 to leave with lashes that looked exactly the same and brows that looked and felt significantly worse than when I walked in was incredibly frustrating. Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend going somewhere else for either of these treatments. Truly sad because I heard great things, but hopefully this will help someone

I get there and finally meet Jay and I speak to her about my idea and what I want but for the most part give her creative freedom. She leaves and comes back with an idea which I love, did the placement and we start. All is well, no talk about payment yet (I should've brought it up at this point but it was my first big piece and I wasn't sure how to go about it or wanted her to feel disrespected about my budget) An hour or so in I'm suffering (my fault for not preparing) and she notices and gives me brakes but somewhere in between is when she finally asks about money. She asks "what's your budget?" As if it matters now that the stencil and ink is on me now. I tell her naively "6-700" at this point I don't think much of it she just nods her head. Towards the end of the session I needed a minute, we're not even done. I'm walking up to the register and I ask "So how much will it be with how far we got in this session" she looked at me the then the receptionist and just goes "700" I look at her kind of shocked but I'm tired so I don't say anything. As time went by and I got more in the scene and inked more I realized she calculated when to ask me and what to ask me. I was wearing shorts and a t shirt so she knew I wasn't inked up and it was my first time. I felt taken advantage of for being new in the community and not having much knowledge. I have multiple tattoos now and four years later this is the worst experience I've ever had. I finally have the courage to speak up about it.
