Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, but the brisket was thinly sliced (good) but was bordering on dry and chewy (not so good). The service was very good -- there when you needed them, but not so much as to interfere with conversations. Go for breakfast or burgers, but be selective about the daily specials and you'll understand why small town diners can be go-to places for travelers. Speaking of the buns, they do not become the soggy mess two bites into it that make eating a burger closer to a fork food. The onion rings, when they have them are some of the best -- handmade and huge with real, not minced, onion. The fries are also hand made here, and while they are good, I didn't like them as well as the onion rings. Service is friendly, attentive without being cloying.
