I've been a loyal patient of Lamendola's Dentistry since they opened (seems like it's been almost…read more10 years now). Dr. Lamendola and his staff of hygienists and office crew are bar none the best in Ascension! I started out seeing Dr. Whiteside and when she switched practices, I began seeing Dr. Bourgeois. I have some of the worst anxiety about going to the dentist and this place goes out of their way to ensure their patients are comfortable. The environment itself is cool, clean, and calming (nice soothing music playing). You can get a weighted blanket, ear plugs with music playing, and there are TVs in each room to hold your attention elsewhere. Years ago, I remember even being offered paraffin wax treatments for my hands during my appointment! While they haven't offered me that in years, it was amazing and also did a good job of distracting me! I refuse to go elsewhere! If you're not 100% comfortable and 110% pleased with your dentist, scurry on over to Lamendola's and let them pamper you AND your smile!

Immediately greeted in a polite and attentive manner by Ms Ramsey. Having two small children "spend their day off at dentist" we were honestly dreading the wait; however, this dentist office was ready for us! They have a great immediate wait room but the icing on cake is the wait room for families in the back. It's close to where dental work is being performed. We could hear the RDA tending patiently to our stubborn 5yr old while entertaining our 8yr old. Its not just a great waiting room. The dental service was thorough and kids felt comfortable. We will definitely be back!! If you're looking for a go to family place --this is it!

I was told they had multiple appt times available. We chose 2pm. I set everything up with the woman on the phone and she told us to arrive at 1:45 to do paperwork. Sounded great. About 30 mins later, I got a call from a different number, another lady from their office saying she needed to verify some info about the appt. She asked about what my husband needed and confirmed that he was cash pay. She then said his appt was at 1:30 and we needed to arrive at 1:15. I hung up and called back to confirm if the appt time was at 1:30 or 2. The same woman (Tracy) said the appt was for 2 but we could come at 1:45. So we arrived around 1:30 anyway. My husband filled out the papers and waited. Multiple people were taken back before him. A little after 2 he asked the women at the desk how long it would be. They told him that they were just running behind and that it would be a little longer. So he waited. Around 2:30, he asked again and was told that his appt was actually for 4pm so he would have to wait. He got irritated and stated how we were told his appt was for 2. Another lady jumped in and said that she heard them this morning book the appt for 2 so she didn't understand why they were saying 4. Anyway, he complained so a few mins later they brought him back and did xrays only to tell him they couldn't do his cleaning that he asked for because they were trying to make him get a bunch of other more expensive services when all he wanted was a basic cleaning. So I guess the $129 service that we were quoted for over the phone wasn't enough and they wanted more. Well, they got nothing and lost a patient. Super unprofessional and unorganized!

I was able to easily book appointments through the phone and in the office. They had great availability and were able to squeeze me in when I needed. And the staff was always so kind and respectful. They are on top of things - they run your insurance and let you know ahead of time of any out of pocket expenses that you might have. Very personable and knowledgeable (all female, Yas!) staff. They do a great job. I also like how they look up your benefits and tell you preventative things that you can get for little to no cost and when the benefit expires. That's invaluable to a busy single working parent! They have a waiting area in the back so that you can wait on your kids and rest, work or watch tv. There's even a video game in there. I have gone in with one of the kids and had a bit of a wait even though we had an appointment, but had not experienced that again so they must have had an emergency come in or something. No complaints, highly recommend!
