Suddenly I had something akin to a rock with a glowing monitor. (I am sure the monitor being left on was meant to be gloating!) I had downloaded a package for unzipping my files and the next thing I knew, there was a second profile on my laptop that I had not created and there was no way to access anything on the laptop. (BTW the light from the monitor wasn't even bright enough to illuminate the few hard copies I had printed out before the lockdown. So, I couldn't even use the laptop for a lamp.) I had used an extremely reputable and highly regarded site for my download but forgot that the download buttons could be from advertisers... or bloodsucking lower than pond scum leaches! I don't know what Percy did to gain access. I do know he had to work at it for quite a while and kept having to try something else. It was a very tough intruder and wasn't looking good, at all. I was even making plans to buy a new laptop. Then I get the text... "I'm in!" The White Hats really do win sometimes. (No Percy does not where a white hat... or any hat, really. He did an amazing job with the phone and the iPad. As for the toy, going in I wasn't even sure if he could fix it and in the end, he could not. But he did give me lots of good advice which sent me in the right direction. Really appreciated that. Overall definitely a guy that you want to keep in your contact list. I know I will, my family always has all kinds of phone and tablet repairs that come up. I would absolutely recommend them if your device needs some help. Five stars.

There really isn't that many places that repair computer these days so I was a little hesitant that they could even do the job honestly. But I stopped in the other days and things started well. It wasn't too busy. Once it was my turn at the counter the nice fella there explained that the diagnostic would cost I think 85 bucks or so and that if a service is performed that would be taken off the total at the end. That's the part that I could feel would be a test of trust. I gave us my computer putting my faith I would get it back better or at least without its memory wiped. they called the next day and said the hard drive wasn't really repairable and that they could put in a new solid-state. They said they would do their best to transfer all data. Cut to 3 days later. Computer was back to fast,, tons of memory and everything was transferred. Amazing. I'm sure they cant fix every problem, but they fixed mine.
