I went in with the same expectation as before and wow was I blown away! Nicole got back to me the next day after my inquiry. I see Nicole and she has helped me realize things about myself that I never knew and a different perspective, but in a very personable way. I think there is one reason for my thinking, but she opens up a whole new realm of possibilities and that there is just not one reason for my behavior. After that, I was afraid of seeking her guidance. So while 90% of times she was helpful, the unpredictable snaps made it very hard for me to continue on relaying information to help my daughter. She also doesn't take feedback well unless it's exactly what she expects to hear. For example my daughter told me she didn't enjoy therapy and when I told her that she automatically pointed the finger at me and said that I had caused it to happen. In fact I never even blamed her for that. I very much just wanted her to know that and it could be simply because therapy brought up issues my daughter wasn't ready to confront within herself yet. I just hope Dr March can understand that the way in which you communicate to parents matters. We are people too. We seek you out because we want what's best for our kids. We are not perfect but neither is anyone. Aside from this, she's smart and caring and I wish all the best for her and all the children she helps support.

One therapist should not be seeing four people who are all close friends. But that is exactly what Dr Steve Wodka did. Additionally, after seeing him for many years, he accidentally revealed that he didn't know basic (MAJOR) facts about my story. When I confronted him, he guilted and shamed me for not telling him sooner. As if all of that weren't enough, when I was experiencing suicidal ideation, he challenged me that, "well you've never actually tried it." It seemed like a dare. As the other reviewer said, he focuses on himself, his interests. He spends his days talking about hockey and basketball with his clients. There is no plan for treatment with him and he is not a trauma informed therapist. He should not be practicing. Again, AVOID this person. There are many many qualified therapists. He is not among them.

Well, it's applicable to us females, too…read more This past year was a rough one for me: first, one of my sweetest students (age 16) passed away suddenly. Then I was in a relationship that was very, very difficult on multiple accounts. To top it off, though I have pretty good self esteem, I just feel awkward and insecure sometimes. Needless to say, I needed someone to help me sort out my feelings of grief, confusion, and inadequacy, coupled with the blame and general negativity that was being projected onto me. I hoped therapy might help give me a more positive perspective and learn some coping and/or behavior strategies. Dr. Greenburg is very perceptive: she's picked up my nuances and habits pretty quickly, and I like that. She's pleasant and asks about my week. If I have a problem or something that's bothering me, she has a plan of attack. She can also sort through my unchronological messes and see patterns (in how others treat me, my response) and brings them up. This is EXACTLY what I wanted. And, she's very non-judgy. (Also exactly what I needed.) Through this journey I've learned what "codependency" is. "Nice guys" and "nice girls," you might want to look into it; awareness might help us "givers" walk away with more than just the short end of the stick! (In short: Treat yourself with importance, because others aren't necessarily going to!) So, to sum, I'm feeling positive and optimistic, and I'm thankful for that.
