Great for a quick bite and a coffee off the main shopping areas and near the Kapellbrucke. The coffee was very good, and the sandwich I had was excellent. read more

Yelp Review 2026 #98:…read more Located in Luzern Bahnhof, this Bachmann shop is smaller and has less options. It is clean, spacious and well-organized though. They leave you alone and don't follow you around. The only interaction you'll have with a store employee is when you're paying. Which is not unusual in Switzerland. They have the basic chocolates here. Nothing special.

Followed our nose and came to a jeweled window, with pastries and breads just in so many multi-color hues. Went in and it was a smargosboard of choice. We purchased 7 different types of bread (incl the braided one shaped like a person) and also a hot pocket shaped veggie roll (truly delicious and I loved that the warmed it up in the oven and not the microwave) and then a Greek salad (amazingly priced at 6chf)! All of this was takeaway, there are no tables to eat in but amazing variety of breads and pastries that are both tasty and well priced. The only thing I didn't like was that our server didn't give me the bill, despite asking her for it, twice! It's why there are only 4 stars to this review, not 5.

Yelp Review 2026 #99:…read more This is a bigger location in Luzern. It's about a 5-8 minute walk from Luzern Bahnhof and I highly recommend coming here instead of the Bahnhof location. They have way more stuff here and they also carry other brands of chocolates. Not to mention the chocolate wall they're famous for. They have chocolates, ice cream, pastries, sandwiches and savory food. The chocolate wall is fun to watch for a few seconds and you're back to shopping for chocolates. Since this is a big location, you would think they would have employees behind every section but they don't. O wanted to get truffles but there was nobody there. I waited for a minutes but nobody came. So, I moved on and grabbed a bar of chocolate instead and paid for it at the sandwich counter. It's big, spacious even though it got crowded, well-stocked and organized.

Yelp Review 2026 #91:…read more Heini Conditorei is Luzern's very own. I've loved all the conditoreis I've been to in Switzerland. But Heini did not deliver. I had breakfast here which was my first meal in Luzern and it was not a great start but it wasn't terrible either. There wasn't very many places open before 7am in the area. So, Heini it is! Many locals come here reading the newspaper while drinking coffee before going to work - like people still read actual newspaper! I love that for them! The ladies behind the counter were pretty friendly. After looking at the options behind the glass case, we made our selections. Shepherd's Pie: The crust was thick, dense and dry. It was more like a savory tart. I ate the middle part and left the pie crust part. 2/5 Chicken Champignon Pie: This was also mostly crust but it wasn't as hard and thick as the shepherd's pie. 3/5 Luzerner Festtagstorte/ Luzern Festive Cake: From their website: "A delicious chocolate biscuit, filled with a truffle cream, delicately sweet raspberry jam, and nougat flakes". It wasn't too sweet. The flavors were very mild. I didn't get much of a chocolate taste that I assumed this cake would have. 3/5 I should have just stayed with the quiche. I went to another Heini location to get chocolates. They have them here too but I didn't want to start my day lugging chocolates all the way to the end of the day.
