I live in LA so I've never been to the store but this is regarding an online purchase…read more I bought an item off their website and finally got the package and was so excited but once I picked it up I knew something was wrong.. it was too light. Once I opened it, it was EMPTY. They used a small USPS box but did not tape the sides of the box thus making it easy for a USPS employee to open the box and take the item. I know there's a sticky edge to close the box but WHY wouldn't you tape the sides of the box to make it super secured?! Especially knowing that it was during the holidays and package thieves are on the rise. I live in a super secured building and we have parcel lockers so it definitely happened while in transit because I picked up the box as soon as I got a text saying it was delivered. I contacted them and they said it was out of their hands once it leaves their facility and to file a claim with USPS.. THEY TOO CAN FILE THE CLAIM AND RE-SEND MY ITEM. What kind of customer service is this? As a business owner myself, I would have shipped one out ASAP and file a claim, if my claim was denied, I would just write it off as a loss. But this store doesn't give a crap. I even tried to buy another one off them and now they're out of stock? Smh. I ended up buying the same item somewhere else.

Disappointed. Call me "old school" but greeting me when I walk in the door goes a long way. Hey,…read moreeven an acknowledgment! We walked in the door, to a shop devoid of any other customers, and then were completely ignored by 2 salespeople who were obviously in a personal conversation about something more important than us. I have worked retail for over 10 years and know the importance of professionalism and good customer service and it starts with the basics. Needless to say, our wallets never left our pockets. We marched over to Martin Fitzpatrick and were blown away by not only their product, but the kindness and politeness given to us by their staff

If my fiance were less of a man-beast (he's too tall for most clothing in general), if I physically brought him here and if I hid all the price tags, I like to think he'd shop here too. (What can I say? My fiance is a classy man who describes his look as "artfully disheveled." We all have our strengths.) In addition the the mostly American-made and Nordic clothing, they have some fun accessories for biking (leather 6-pack holder that I got my fiance for his birthday one year), camping (HOODED WALKING SLEEPING BAG SUIT?!?!) and some great home decor items like a woolen badger face pillow that I want in my house really badly. Also, the Faribault Woolen Mills blankets. Gimme. Dem. Blankets.

This is for my wedding suit but also something I will wear for years to come. I have always wanted a bespoke suit and this was my excuse to finally get one. They made the whole experience fun and relaxed. The couple two finger whiskey pours helped as well. Really though, very friendly, seemed very knowledgeable, good insight while not pushing something I didn't want. Not pushy or intimidating whatsoever actually. Very helpful in going in the direction I wanted, while making suggestions to make sure the final product will be something that works and I will be happy with. Highly recommended so far. Will update after the suit is complete but I am very confident and excited for what I know will be an amazing suit. Thanks guys, see you again soon.

I'm glad to see that the number of hip-hop clothing boutiques in the Twin Cities is increasing…read more Before online shopping became popular -with websites like Digital Gravel, Karmaloop, MLTD- getting fresh hip-hop gear required "knowing" somebody. But now "Things Done Changed." (Biggie reference.) Within the last couple years, a handful of new spots have opened up in Minneapolis alone! Phenom is refreshing with its dope two room setup, wooden floors, and tees that hang from an automated and revolving rack above. (Like what drycleaners have.) They also carry a small selection of sneaker classics like Nike Air Maxes, Jordans, and New Balances (the non-Grandpa kind), some interesting caps (both snapback and fitted), and original sweatshirts I've never really seen online. I'm not really a fan of their selection, but I can see how some peeps dig it. Aside from the gear, the customer service could be better. I saw one Nike Air Max and got a staff member to get it in my size. I found that it didn't fit and tried chatting with him a bit. He seemed disinterested in trying to sell me anything and left to talk to the shorty at the front of the store. At other boutiques, the staff usually tries to hustle me. Kinda surprised. Again, I love Phenom's dope space and can appreciate their gear, but the customer service could be better.

Beautiful ground up conceptual design with their Phenom cloud logo emblazoned across the racks, counters, and their own personal clothing that they manufacture in the back of the shop. So sick! Much love for this shop and always stop in to see their new gear whenever I'm in the area. Pricy for some of these products because of their brands, but it's well worth the pricepoint if you are savvy in the streetwear game and understand what you're actually looking at! o.O

Plenty of parking in the shared lot or on the street. You'll need to be buzzed into the store as the door is locked. Once inside the shop is pretty small and jam packed with stuff....almost too much stuff. It was hard to look at items and the vibe felt a little meh. I still wanted to browse and find something to take home, I'm not sure if I missed the memo for sizing on tops but it was hard to know which section I should be looking in. There were some great finds in there, but also pretty expensive. Previous reviews mentioning prices seem to be several years old so keep in mind that you'll be spending a lot depending on what you're looking for. I will say- if vintage is your style and you're open to what you wear this would be a good stop. If you're a little more picky and looking to save some money this may not be the best option.
