    Located in the back of Oiji Mi. This restaurant specializes in their beef and I must say this was the best beef I have ever had in my entire life. Every single thing here was a hit! Their meats are so well seasoned and perfectly cooked. They are amazing at dry-aging their meats. I was drooling the entire night. It was incredible. By far the best cuts of meats I have ever consumed. All the food here was delicious and the presentation was beautiful for every dish. There were sooooo many items on their set tasting menu it was actually insane. I couldn't believe how much food we were getting! I was so stuffed at the end. I wanted to eat more but I physically couldn't lol. I didn't think the food here would be THIS GOOD!! Wow. I was so pleasantly shocked as it exceeded my expectations. Not a single miss! We went here for my 25th birthday dinner and I highly recommend! This restaurant is great place to go to for a special occasion or a celebratory dinner. I am obsessed with their open kitchen concept. The vibes inside are impeccable and the staff were all so kind and even let us take a photo at the end inside their kitchen! What a perfect way for end the night.

    Came here for an early valentines date night! We came for the 8:30pm seating and were out the door by around 10:45pm. The tasting menu is thoughtfully done and we had a great evening. Every group is seated slightly apart so you feel like you're in an intimate setting but still in an exclusive group setting. The little appetizer dish that came with three little starters was a beautiful start to the meal--and I mean this taste wise and visually. The tofu was alright. Hahaha good but not my fave. The steamed egg with crab was excellent and I liked the different take on it! My favorites were probably the meat dishes. The kalbi is tiny but it was incredibly tasty and was fatty enough that more would've been overkill. We also ordered a side of meat (idk what it was) with truffles and that was also soooooooo good. There was another meat dish where one came with uni and the other came w caviar -- excellent. The desserts were visually pleasing! We shared a wine pairing ($245) and I will say we did enjoy each paired wine to the dish and the explanations that came with them. Overall, a lovely experience with good conversations w the servers. The food was yummy but I think it's also hard to not raise an eyebrow as a Korean person who regularly eats moogook, tofu, steamed egg, galbi etc. knowing that homemade food is cheap with large portions but that this meal came out to $1,300 (20% tip included). lol! Given that it is a course menu style, everything is pretty small. Nevertheless, we left feeling full and didn't need to wander around looking for other food afterwards.

    Where to go if you want to experience a hanwoo omakase. bōm feels genuine and personal -- Korean flavors that feel familiar, but naturally adapted to New York. Nothing feels forced, concept-y, or like it's trying to prove something Just careful cooking and really good balance. Loved the hansang (set of rice, banchan, & soup) ending!!     This was a definite treat! The beef they served was amazing! I really enjoyed the meal and the wine pairings. I do wish that the add ons to the menu would have been shared on a menu or something with the cost listed. With them just being shared verbally and no prices disclosed I was hesitant to either ask or just sign up for them cost unknown. I know I should have just asked, but it seemed tacky, probably a me problem, but it was the one minus for me during the meal.

    Amazing experience in the back of oiji mi. Such a nice intimate space, well lit, service was amazing and food was delicious. It is a bit steep in terms of pricing compared to their restaurant counterpart: oiji mi but the food is almost completely different- elevated. My personal favorite was the pear with caviar (one of the beginning 3 bites) and theyre known for the dry aged meat done 3 diff ways. All 3 were delicious and cooked well. Accompaniments for various dishes were also paired well together which is always a good sign. And when you think youre done eating, that's when they bring out this huge tray of "last bites" before dessert so make sure you save your stomach. All in all, amazing experience that you have to try.

    Celebrated my birthday at Bom and loved the experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive--taking time to explain each dish and make us feel truly welcome. Service gets a solid 5/5. The interior is beautifully modern and spacious The meal was overall very enjoyable and satisfying. Most of the dishes were absolutely delicious, with great flavors and thoughtful presentation. However, I would deduct a few points for the chickpea dish and the seafood steamed egg. The chickpeas were a bit too heavy for a starter and could benefit from being paired with something lighter to balance the texture. As for the seafood steamed egg, it lacked the depth of seafood flavor I was expecting and was overwhelmed by the taste of peas. That said, the rest of the meal more than made up for it, and I would definitely return. I hope the restaurant considers making a few small tweaks to the menu--it has so much potential to be even better. Highly recommend for a special night out

    We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it did not disappoint. We've been to many Korean fine-dining restaurants in NYC, and the experience at Bom felt especially intimate. The staff were very nice, and I liked that they gave us a copy of the menu to take home when we left.

    One of the best meals I've had in my life, with some of the best bites I've also had in my life. The service here is AMAZING, everyone is extremely friendly, and the ambiance is perfect with such large space between every person even though it's counter seating style. Highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a Korean fine dining experience. Amazing!

    Bom is an upscale Korean restaurant located Behind Oiji Mi (: in a chef's counter type setup. The decor gave of modernist vibes and gourmet ingredients, especially meat, seemed the focus of the menu - Wagyu, caviar, and uni with supplement add ons. There were so many staff and chefs it seemed like one per guest but they were so considerate, kind and personable. The sommelier Taylor was exceptionally knowledgeable, charismatic and patient with all guests. I got the exploratory pairing (see menu photo) I thought was well made. The wine list is one of the most extensive I've seen in NYC. Highlights of menu were Wagyu galbi, abalone, king crab, and ending with a more traditional Korean course - hansang charim, sotbap, moo guk, banchan. The Wagyu, ribeye and tenderloin were all extremely well cooked with juicy, tender flavor and fun to pair them side by side with Hokkaido uni and caviar. It did feel a little extreme to be eating so many high end ingredients together but it's pulled off well. I didn't find it a filling meal at all and with the price point I'd say bom leaned more towards utilizing high quality ingredients into dishes, for the price point I would recommend him for special occasions and probably not a place I would return to periodically otherwise.

    Bom is incredible - one of the best tasting menus I've had yet to say the least. bom is in a special room located by getting into Oiji Mi. From there, you'll be taken into a private back room that looks so modern and sleek with bar seating only. On the bar are a few grills that has all the air sucked out from underneath. Being seated, we were immediately shown what we would be eating that night via a marvelous display including a gigantic crab. It was such a cool presentation. From there, the meal began. Let's break down a few of the great food items from the 13-course menu (with a few extras thrown in): *Tenderloin - soooo good. They cooked this in front of us on the grill and then brought it out by presenting us two different pieces. One piece had the caviar while the other had uni. So juicy and tender with that added bump. I loved the uni. *The bluefin tuna intro was fantastic - coming out in a stacking dolls-like fashion. It was super clever with the presentation and each bite was easy to eat and delicious with some of the most gorgeous presentation of the night. *The mieyok was so cool and clever. The dish tasted like a traditional miyeok yet once you took a few sips, you taste just how well and layered the whole dish is. Abalone and black sesame are mixed in a seamless way with again, just a precise attention to detail with the way each layer is poured. I had a wine but really believe the star of the drink show was a special tea they poured out for us which was so refreshing in a tea glass that was transparent. And the desserts were all so wonderful - especially the banana ice cream which reminded me of banana milk with so many gorgeous details. The night ended with a special small birthday treat for my friend. They even had a happy birthday music box playing which was super adorable. Thank you so much to the staff at bom for treating us so well and being so great at explaining all the dishes. I would love to go back again someday and do it all again!

    The whole layout feels a bit like Wangbi? Or is it that Koreans all love having shops within shops The service attitude in the shop is good, the waiters and sommeliers are very stylish, but the dishes are made to order in front of you, which is a bit slow, and I started to feel sleepy halfway through the meal... The overall atmosphere is quite noisy, you need to be very focused to hear the waiters' introductions to the dishes, but it's also quite lively. I initially thought every dish would be beef and was worried I wouldn't be able to finish it, as I'd seen online, but it turned out I was overthinking it... I could finish it all without feeling it was too rich (but I'm a big beef lover myself). I don't think beef goes well with sea urchin and caviar. The caviar might be relatively better, but sea urchin and beef together taste like two separate things. It feels a bit like they're just piling on expensive ingredients for the sake of being expensive (personal feeling). Appetizers have a silken tofu-like texture. Although seafood chawanmushi, it surprisingly had chili in it, giving it the feeling of eating Sichuan mapo tofu The soup is said to be a masterpiece that was simmered for 5 hours, but for some reason, it tasted like seafood instant noodle soup to me The main course is delicious, a mini beef bowl, kind of like eating a high-end Japanese beef sushi. The beef here is extremely springy, and the rice is sushi rice The waiter meant to wrap the rice and side dishes in the seaweed and then mix the gochujang into the rice at the end, but in my opinion, the gochujang just wasn't as fragrant as the Chinese one. What was a pleasant surprise was that the soup was a bit richer than the usual galbitang, and with the most, most tender beef, the beef here gets high praise!! It's really delicious. There are two desserts in total: watermelon slush + banana milk ice cream. I think the slush as a dessert actually fits my impression of Korea well, because the slushes in Ktown are all very delicious This watermelon one is also quite good for cutting through the richness. The banana ice cream tastes exactly like the famous Korean banana milk!! Plus a slightly less sweet version of banana bread cake base, I think this dessert is even better than the slush, and the flavor is a bit like Japanese desserts. Before the bill, they still give you some small snacks. The matcha chocolate is okay, but the others are super, super sweet!! If it's your birthday or an anniversary, the shop will also give you a small cupcake with a candle in it. A suggestion: when you come, if you're wearing a dress, bring a jacket, because the air conditioning in the shop is quite cold, probably because they're grilling meat, so they set the temperature quite low.

    If I could give bom a thousand stars, I would. This is hands down the best upscale Korean tasting menu meal my husband and I have had so far and we have probably tried a good handful of them. From the food, to the service to the experience, everything was phenomenal. Given that reservations were fairly easy to procure, Bom is definitely not getting the attention it deserves. I'm not sure why I didn't put two and two together when I booked bom and didn't realize that it's located in the same spot as Oiji Mi-another one of my fave places. Reservation were made through opentable and you must pay when you make the reservations with a no refund policy. We arrived a little early and were the first ones to arrive for the first seating at 5:30pm seating. Waited a little bit and we were brought into this private back room with around 17 seats that faced a kitchen so that everyone can watch the staff in action. The way the staff worked with each other, almost like a dance that has be rehearsed for hours really amazed me at how well they worked together. Everyone knew what they had to do and the staff was always ready to either pour water, take drinks orders, serve the next item or just move around the counter grilling the meat at eat grill while using a gloved finger to test the readiness of the meat showed professionalism at another level. Now on to the food, every single bite worked so well together. As soon as the first apps came out, and I took the first bite, I knew was in for a treat. All the food works so well together. The quality of the meat was top notch. The kalbi melted in your mouth while the aged tenderloin was so tasty. The only item that threw off my tastebuds a little bit that I was looking forward to was the uni that topped the tenderloin. I love uni but it was a little too fishy for my preference. Besides that, I can't even tell you which dish was my favorite because all of them were so delicious. The king crab flown in everyday from Norway with the foam and asparagus made my husband nod his head with approval. The meal ended with a palate cleanser of Jeju tangerine sorbet and chocolate like dessert with banana ice cream. We even got a goody bag with a beautifully box of petite fours and the menu for the night. You can add onto the meal caviar and A5 wagyu for an additional charge which we opted out of. We did order a bottle of Riesling to accompany the meal that the sommelier recommended. The staff was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the meal. If you want to try a Korean tasting menu and you don't know where to go, pick bom. I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you bom helping us celebrate our 21 year anniversary or for making it so special. Also thank you for being so accommodating of my husband's aversion to dairy.

    I came here for dinner on a weekday and had the most amazing time. Located behind Oiji Mi (hence the name bom--"Behind Oji Mi"), this hidden restaurant is bar style and truly an experience in and of itself. The interior is elevated but still comfortable, and there's plenty of bar space for you to enjoy your meal comfortably. Our waitress, Maxine, and the somm who introduced the wine pairings to us, Milo, were both so wonderful and fun to talk to as we dined. They were also extremely knowledgable in the menu and their offerings, I learned so much thoroughout this experience and left very satisfied with the experience (not even the food) alone. With that said, however, the food was phenomenal. The experience is 10 courses for 275$ pp, and you can choose to add the traditional or exploratory wine pairings to compliment your meal. We decided to do one of each pairing so that we could try a little bit of each offering, and I'm so glad we did. The wine pairing were so fun to enjoy and the selection was splendid. For the food, each course was amazing and you're started off with some beef jerky bites (probably the best beef jerky I've ever had). The first four courses are seafood heavier and so so delicious. My favorites were definitely the first (where you're presented with tuna, caviar, and roe on a Russian doll style) and the fourth course (the abalone with caviar was so good). The next three courses focus on their ribeye and wagyu, and those were so delicious. The fifth course with wet-aged ribeye and uni as well as dry-aged ribeye with caviar was hands-down my favorite course. I learned so much about the preparation of each meat and you truly could tell a difference, even in just the way they smelled. The eighth course is more traditional, comforting, and simple--rice, soup, and banchan and was a good way to end the savory portion of the meal. The last two courses consisted of desserts and were perfectly sweet. At the end you're given a box of cookies to take home (which were delicious) and two menus. One of the best dinners and experiences I've had dining in NYC and I highly recommend it!

Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

Nice accompaniment to the heavier dishes. -KFC: pretty standard for Korean fried chicken, but enjoyed. -Kimchi Pancake: I couldn't really taste the cheese, but this was good and I'd order again. Great to share. -Grilled Bulgogi: flavorful, lean. Would order again. -Spicy Grilled Pork Japchae: this was our least favorite dish. Not sure if something was off in the kitchen, but this didn't taste like japchae at all. We didn't finish and I wouldn't order again.

Spicy Braised Pork Rib Stew: Rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The highlight for me was the raw marinated crab. I spotted it on the wall menu and immediately had to order it. It's rare to find in the city! And honestly, this was way better than BCD's. So flavorful. Only complaint... the banchan portions are small and not a lot of variety. Other than that, I really enjoyed my meal and I'd definitely recommend this spot.

Hubs got hot stone bibimbap and as we all know the crispy rice is the best part of it... it's just tough to separate it from the actual stone dish so you can eat it, especially if you wait until it cools and fuses. If I was there with more stomach space I wanted to try the galbi, and in fact there's a weekday lunch combo that could facilitate that.
