Ladies night out. What a great event. It was so fun and super exciting! It did not start until 5pm. Well We got there at 330 and there was a line already forming. Lol. At 5 your assistant manager passed out tickets for free goodies and then the event was on. So many numbers for gifts were called out. Approximately every 15 minutes. I won a beautiful pair of jeans!! C-A-L Ranch - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Bullhead City, Arizona

We were visiting BHC and I've always wanted to go into C-A-L Ranch just to check it out. OMG, if you're a Carhartt fan like me, look no further. They've got an extensive stock of T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, pants, shirts, beanies, you name it. Their FA selection is fair as are their safes. They have everything from small, 4 gun safes all the way up to multi thousand dollar ones. There's plenty of feed and pet food supplies as well as one aisle of toys (you can actually get cap guns here), some mini bikes and mini SXS ( gas operated ), and even some troughs. What really set this store apart was the extremely friendly staff. No matter where we went, there was someone nearby asking if we wanted help and when we checked out, the cashier entered all my info for their rewards program for me. They're just a really great team of helpful and courteous people. Oh, BTW, look for their sales. When they hit, the prices are really good. read more

I went to CAL Ranch in Bullead City, Az where I had purchased a pair of work boots less than a month ago I was intending to exchange the boots that the soles were delaminating on. Upon entering the store and explaining what happened to the boots the cashier she informed me that I needed to speak with the person in charge of the boot dept. He informed me that I would need to speak with the manufacturer and they MIGHT be able to help me. The guy in the boot dept explained that the boots would have to be returned in the original condition, meaning unworn. When I asked to speak with the general manager, I was told it would be a while because the GM was busy and rolled his eyes. While I was waiting I called CAL Ranch customer service to clarify what the exchange policy actually is. The customer service rep, Lynne,, said it should not be a problem as I was exchanging like for like.and there should be no problem. She explained this to the store GM also. He immediately came out and was a gentleman about the issue. He looked up the boots and there was one pair in stock, he had the boot dept guy look for them in back while I looked on the shelf.with the assistance of another clerk Amanda.. Everything went smoothly after that. It should not have taken 1 1/2 hrs to figure out what the employee should have known in the first place. It is not my job to find out company policy, He should have understood that if you buy work boots, they are going to be worn for work and be dusty. The GM and Amanda and Lynne in customer service were exceptional to work with and handled the situation professionally. Amanda took time to make sure that I had no further questions or needs. The store is very neat and clean including the restrooms. The fact is that some employees need more knowledge of good customer service and company policies and customer relations. read more

This place is not male handicap friendly. I had the rudest interaction today when I went to go shopping here. I'm handicap missing a leg so when I go around town I keep a backpack with my for my medications and personal stuff that I need now. And I get stopped by what looked to be the crypt keepers wife and says I'm not allowed to shop at this store because my back pack. Meanwhile there are females who aren't handicap walking in with backpack purses and not a single thing mentioned to them. I'm literally riding on their motorized cart to get around. What am I gonna do run off with your merchandise. Give me a break and yall need to retrain your people to look at the situation. So that being said I'd suggest shopping elsewhere. With numerous area gun stores to consider, I selected Cal Ranch to handle the FFL transfer of a firearm I purchased online. Bad decision on my part. Due to poor or no communication on the part of Cal Ranch gun department employees, the transfer process was stopped midstream, and I had to start all over again with another local gun store. Cal Ranch has a corporate policy of expanded verifications of FFLs they do business with. This, plus the aforementioned lack of communication, created a huge and completely unnecessary delay and inconvenience. There's more to the story, but suffice to say, I won't be doing business on any level with Cal Ranch in the future. My advice to Bullhead City area gun buyers, avoid Cal Ranch for FFL gun transfers, and use one of the many gun stores in Bullhead and Ft. Mohave. read more

Went in for some ammo, everyone I meet was very helpful and nice, great selection of ammo and guns. Got 200 rounds of 5.56 for 110.

I went to return an item that I bought and the employee at the register was talking to another employee in Spanish, and didn't even acknowledge that I was there until I said something about the return then she kinda looked at me funny and looked at the bag and she called management. Can somebody tell me if I can return this item I'm looking at the return policy and it says eligible to be returned so I asked her do you do this to everybody that comes in the store or do you just do you ask Americans? She says no first time I've done it. I gotta call the manager so she called the manager and the manager came down and she says, we can't return it because propane, I see your policy right there says you can return it. It meets all the parameters of the return. It's not on sales not clear. It's not specialty item but I don't know what you've done to this product sealed she says she might just return it and I looked at us why you gotta disrespect me like that respecting somebody badly like you not the person you're disrespected I'm not trying to argue with no customer. I told her again. I'm not arguing with you. I'm just point out your return policy. I'm not trying to lose my job argue with no employee again. I'm not arguing with you. DO NOT buy baby chicks from the local BHC Cal-Ranch. They do not follow the proper protocol for baby chicks. Not even their own recommended protocol. I went to cal ranch yesterday and today. Both times I kindly mentioned to them that they are using pelletized bedding which is dangerous to baby chicks, they will confuse it with food and become impacted. When I say kindly, I mean I couldn't say it any nicer if I tried because I was only worried about the best interest of the baby chicks. The animal area supervisor scolded me and told me that they don't have that problem, although yesterday when my kids and I went there were atleast 10 baby chicks dead. When my husband and I left the store the manager came out and yelled at me saying that I was being derogatory with her employees everytime I come in. Mind you we have spent close to $4,000 since this store opened and only talked to employees twice in hopes of saving these baby chicks. I order my chickens from the same hatchery they do, I know the protocol. My husband tried to explain to her that I wasn't the one being mean, it was the employee. She told him to stop talking, that she wasn't talking to him she was talking to me. I asked her if I could please explain what happened and she told me no and walked away. Please note this is the chick protocol from their own website, that states flakes should be used for baby chickens. We are both beyond upset with how we were treated and will never spend money at Cal-Ranch again. read more
