The director, Ms. Kris Cucuru, is unprofessional, dishonest, and poorly trained herself. She was often dressed quite sloppily (skirts too high and necklines too low) and projected a slovenly appearance. The owner, Ms. Cindy, was aloof and barely spoke to parents, perhaps out of disinterest or possibly out of timidity. The operation of the center was disorganized, which resulted in my children frequently losing articles of clothing during the multiple transfers from one classroom to another. My son would come home with bruises, cuts, scrapes, and scratches with little to no explanation or formal documentation of the incidents (as is the protocol at other centers). The only plus to the center was the extended care and that they did attempt to have festive activities for the children around the holidays. For the amount of tuition required, this center leaves a lot to be desired. If you are an active or concerned parent, I would advise you to stay away from this one and Crestwood Academy up the street. You certainly have much better and affordable options for quality care elsewhere.

When they would have outside time all the kids would just stand up under the shade with the teacher. Not playing or anything. No learning takes place.In a nutshell this place is a babysitting service and nothing more. I just recently started to use the center more often now that I am in my senior year at the school and started training a client here. As a student, we are charged fees, which funds the center, so as students, we may as well use it. They recently replaced a lot of the cardio machines up stairs and added a few new weight machines is great. Now if only they had a swimming pool. Non-students can use the gym here as well for a fee and they offer certified personal trainers. Unlike those found at the majority of gyms, the ones here have a background in exercise science and know proper form, etc. I'd recommend students who are interested in exercising, but need help learning proper technique and how to take part in resistance training to sign up for the free personal training sessions offered in the spring done by the students, it will save you about $250 and you get to work with someone who loves fitness. The SAC offers video games, pool table, table soccer, and other activities for students, so definitely check it out if you are near campus.
