Their inventory has always been a bit old and worn down, but the staff used to make up for it with decent customer service. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I recently rented a hot dog machine for a school event. After setting everything up and loading all the hot dogs, the machine worked for about 10 seconds and then completely stopped -- no power, no light. We tried different outlets and even moved everything to another area with working electricity, but it still wouldn't turn on. This caused a major setback during the school function, and we had to scramble to feed the kids another way. I called during the incident for help but they were closed. After the event I called again and explained what happened. They told me to bring it back and that I'd receive a full refund. I did exactly that. When I dropped it off, Mayra said she'd refund it back to my card -- no problem. A short while later, she called saying they plugged it in and it worked for them. We had a polite conversation about how strange that was, but she never mentioned canceling my refund. It's now been 6 days, and no refund has been issued. I've left messages and never received a call back. When I finally reached someone named Ana, I was told she had to "check with the owner" to see if they even wanted to give me a refund -- and that she wouldn't be back for several days. At this point, it's not even about the money -- it's about principle and professionalism. I've supported this local business for years, but it's disappointing to see how they now dodge calls and treat loyal customers. A small issue could have been resolved quickly with honesty and good service. It's truly sad to say, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere -- somewhere that values integrity over keeping a few extra dollars. I wish them well, but I hope they use the money they kept from me to finally replace that old, faulty machine.

One of the tablecloths was also the wrong size. When I called to request a refund for the unusable dance floor, I was told it was our fault and even that we had asked for it without all the pieces, which was both rude and unreasonable. I hope they improve quality checks, recommendations, and customer service in the future. We will not be using this company in the future.

She even took the time to review our wedding website and designed the photo booth screen to match our theme perfectly. She also sent over a detailed PDF outlining all the design options for the booth, including print layout, fonts, and background choices, which made the process smooth and enjoyable. On the day of the wedding, Sebastian ran the booth and was incredibly attentive with our guests. He made sure everyone was ready before each shot and operated the booth seamlessly. Two months advance, Jamie presented us with multiple seating arrangement options with various couches, pillows, and additional decor to supplement each space. Their selection of couches, chairs, rugs, and custom decor was extensive. Every piece was handpicked to fit the vibe of our event. We were able to provide feedback and then together landed on how each area would look and feel, and finalized each item from their inventory. What truly stood out was the level of customization they offered. They took the time to understand our vision and provided multiple options that aligned with it. Even more impressively, White Rabbit provided us with gorgeous, custom signs for the entire event. Knowing our color scheme and decor direction, Jamie took the initiative to design signage and frame everything so it was wedding day ready! In the world of party rentals, we found there were many others who would gouge for transportation fees or have enormous minimums that smaller parties cannot afford. We were able to do our event between $500 - $1000 and have the furniture and additions needed to make it look like the 1890s London space we were looking for. During the process, they recommended extra items and also advised against pieces that didn't fit with our theme. I really appreciated how ethical they were and how trustworthy. They came to deliver our items at the appointed date and time on the weekend and picked up the next day. And what's even better? They put them exactly where we needed them! Another local company (won't mention the name) brought the other items hours late and dumped them at the base of our driveway. The difference between White Rabbit and the other Santa Cruz company were astounding, and not in a good way. I highly recommend White Rabbit and no, I was not paid to leave this rating. I'm just that impressed with how wonderful they made my husband's 60th birthday.

I used the Disney Train for a Minnie Mouse themed party and it was a HUGE hit. The kids had a blast, the train itself was clean and super cute. For the second party we used the basketball hoop and slide jumphouse and that was also a huge hit. We had kids from 2 years old to 8 years old jumping. I even tried out both and was happy with how clean and well kept they both were. We always have our parties at the park and both times set up and take down were easy and efficient. Customer service is very friendly and professional. With the last party, I called 5 days before party day and they worked with me and made sure we had a jumper. An idea for parents if you are looking to get your child a jumphouse; Birthday parties and presents can get expensive. On two different occasions my gift to my child has been a party with a jumphouse. You are buying an experience, not just a toy. We have so many toys and stuffies I don't know what to do with it all. All the kids were so excited and happy with the jumphouse, you don't have to think of much else for the party because the main focus is the jumphouse. If you are doing it at the park you do need a permit through the city, it's easy to get. I will always recommend Jumparty! And use them for future parties.

There were a few places that responded to my request. Rachel from Sparkle was the most responsive to all my questions. We started corresponding on Wednesday and my event was the following Monday. By Friday we were ready to go. 2 popcorn machines and enough supplies (kernals and bags) for 200 people. She delivered the machines by 8:30AM when my contract didn't have a start time until 9AM. She knew I was concerned I wouldn't know how to run a popcorn machine. I am always a concerned when I am using other people's money makers..lol...I don't want to mess it up. Anyhow, she was thorough in her directions. Even left me a printed instructions sheet to refer to. The popcorn was the highlight of the training. Impressing 200+ attorney's is quite a feat by the way, and the popcorn did it..lol! Thank you Sparkle for your professionalism, your promptness and your patience. There was a little back and forth there for a minute but Rachel never made me feel like I was a bother. She always responded to me in a timely manner and made everything go seamlessly.
