This past weekend was our first time using Party Rental outlet. I reached out for tables, chairs and linens a month prior then added a 20x30 tent the week of our event without any problem. They were able to easily accommodate the updated request. Service and replies to texts were prompt. We were slated to have it all delivered the Friday before our Saturday event, but the tables/chairs and linens all arrived Thursday which was nice. My only little complaint would be that one of the tables was slightly busted up around the edges and kind of sharp. Thankfully we didn't end up needing it anyway. So good idea to check over the delivery in case that would be an issue for you. The arrived promptly with our tent the Friday morning and set up and take down Sunday was a breeze. I had ordered a dozen wooden chairs to be delivered for an event on Saturday, per the receipt notification the chairs were supposed to be delivered on Saturday, the chairs were not delivered, there was no follow up phone call. It is Friday almost noon time, I called the vendor said they are too busy to call people back with delays and she is too busy to now deliver my calls due to a negative review but will refund my money. At least I get my money back. I do not recommend this company as they are not reliable. read more

BEWARE! The owner will sabotage your event by refusing to deliver if you express you are unhappy with her service!! My original review: This place is a scam. I paid the invoice for 30 chairs and they confirmed that payment was received. They said they'd get back to me on Thursday on delivery time. It's now Friday, one day away from event date, and they have only left me on read. No communication whatsoever. I'm out $105 and no way to get rental chairs for my event tomorrow. Event ruined. Don't waste your time or risk your event with them. UPDATE: Elizabeth called me back and returned my money after reading my Yelp review. Guess she had time to read a Yelp review, but no time to return back my text (which was left on read 2x). I told her I would be happy to change my review if she followed through with her order as promised now that communication has finally been established between us. She told me "$105 won't make me rich" but don't you think some one star reviews on Yelp can definitely affect your future business and cost you potential clients? ********HIRE WITH CAUTION************ I have used Party Rental with my middle school dances to rent tables twice before and had no issues. But this time I rented 8 tables with umbrellas, table clothes and chairs for my son's graduation party. When delivered, the delivery people only left 5 of the 8 tables and linens for 5 tables. When delivering they left them on the side of my house as I instructed, but they did not let me know when they were done as I was working inside the house. So when I realized they were finished, I immediately texted to let them know I'm short three tables. (By the way, I used to alway rent from Williams Party rental and they would alway have you sign to say you received your correct items, but not sure why they don't do that. I'm pretty sure they knew they were short products.) I received a text back saying I will reach out to them (the delivery driver) and I never heard anything back. So I ran my party with the 5 tables. Days after the party, when they came to pick up, I asked for the refund for the tables that didn't arrive. I couldn't find my invoice right away and quickly did some math to figure out my refund for the tables and requested it in VenMo (but I forgot to request for the table clothes too), I was super patient with them as it took a couple days since their VenMo account was frozen. After, I realized that they owed me more money because I didn't count the table clothes. It has now been a full month and I have not received that refund. I texted, left a voicemail and requested twice on Venmo. Nothing! So be careful when working with them! You never know what you're going to get. I do not plan to use them for my middle school events anymore. I'd rather pay more from another company and not go through the stress. read more

Elizabeth and her party rental outlet team are truly the best party planning company in all of the South Bay Area! I contacted her about hosting an outdoor holiday party at my house and I must say I was thoroughly impressed by how responsive she was, along with the impeccable experience she provided me and my guests. A few things 1) She always responds in a timely manner (2 hr response time). Keep in mind she has a family + full time job and yet is running this business at full capacity. Mad respect! From adding multiple accessories to my original quote to last min changes, Elizabeth and her team met the moment. 2) Upon arrival to my home the day before the party, we quickly realized that the original tent width was too large for my backyard. Thus, Elizabeth and her trusted canopy team used the top part of my retaining wall to tent one side of my tent, then using the rest of my backyard to tent the other side. The result was Magnificent! The party turned out to be a hit(especially with the Santa Claus figure + bar that she provided. We were very happy with the excellent customer attention we received and the nice quality of the items we rented from Party Rental Outlet. The plates with the gold edges, and the gold flatware was beautiful. We requested Royal purple napkins for our elegant event, and Elizabeth was nice enough to order them for us for this party. The most impressive part was Elizabeth Customer Service. I would call her for questions and she would call me right back in the matter of minutes, no matter what time day or night. This could have been better. I was excited when I found a local rental company, but there were issues with some of the equipment. The cocktail tables would not go to matching lengths and were wobbly and two of the umbrellas were missing the large plastic tops. Two of the wood tables were very damaged, wobbly and taped with duck tape. With the table cloths on, they looked fine, but I was worried about the tables with older guests. We were also missing linens, but they did deliver these to us after I notified them. I did let the owner know about the condition of the tables and she mentioned that it was a big weekend with graduation and would inspect the tables. read more

However, this last time I rented 50 chairs, 5 tables and 5 linens for my dear brother's Memorial/ Celebration of Life on Saturday October 14,2023. They came to deliver on Friday at 7:30am but I was sleeping and they didn't drop off the items like they were supposed to. Instead, I had to call and ask when they would deliver. I received no response but they did deliver the items I ordered. I then noticed that I needed umbrellas so I called Elizabeth to ask if it was possible to order. She assured me that it was possible and that they would deliver Saturday morning. On Saturday morning I woke up to a text from Elizabeth saying that the items I needed were unable to be delivered because her delivery guy was out of town and she was in the process of doing a set up for another party. I asked her if I could pick the items up but was told the shop was closed. We ended up purchasing 5 umbrellas and stands. Then I texted to ask what time they would be picking up the stuff I rented but received once again, no response! I have never given an establishment a negative review but in this case, it is well deserved and everyone needs to be aware. After your reply to my review I have to say that you shouldn't have told me that you could deliver the umbrellas when I asked. Instead, you said you would deliver them in the morning. I didn't pay because you never sent me an invoice, which I asked for. Poor business practice. Also.... When I texted to ask about pickup service, I was once again, never responded to. It was a last minute call to arrange seating for our party. From beginning to end it was no hassle. Beginning it took no more than 10 minutes to place the order and receive the invoice to confirm. The order was reviewed to assure it was correct. Middle was picking up for the event, I arrived and was instructed where to pull in and load. The team was quick and efficient to get everything I needed in my vehicle. End was returning the items. It was smooth and the unloading was easy. When I inquired about status of the delivery, was told not to worry but that I my reservation was for May not March. ‍ They had the chairs available and were able to deliver no problem. Absolutely stunned in the management/owner and quality of the equipment. I rented chairs for an upcoming event. I was never notified for delivery as promised, but found them sitting on my driveway. These chairs were in the worst possible condition, looking dirty, old, and falling apart. Out of the 35 chairs, 11 were wobbling side to side and not usable. Being that my event is tomorrow I had to deal. So I called and explained that the chairs were dirty and 11 needed to be replaced. Rather than receive proper response , owner replied that the chairs were not dirty, and she dropped them herself. Also that she didn't have any replacements for the so called wobbly chairs and would just pick up the entire rental within the hour because those are the only condition of the chairs she had. Who cares if I'm left in a bind. When she arrived to my home there was no apologies and a completely rude attitude. Well judge for yourself. read more

Hire with caution!! We hired Elizabeth for our son's first birthday party but were very stressed with the lack of communication and her not following through with the plan. She was suppose to deliver all items Friday and pick up on Monday but it didn't end up happening that way. Tables, chairs and lines were delivered Thursday -- without notice. Tent was delivered and installed 2 hours before our event! Since it was raining, it was essential to have this tent up prior to the rain. I asked for ETAs/updates all day Friday and would get responses hours later with an excuse and no eta. The morning of the event she said she would deliver at 8:30, at 8:32 I text and called her but she was not responding. By 9am I was calling every vendor on Google hoping I could get someone to bring me a tent. I stopped searching once they arrived at 9:11. I did read this about her in another review but figured it was a one-off and people learn from their mistakes so I gave her business the benefit of the doubt . However, this seems to not be the case for Elizabeth and her company, she had the same response she had for that other customer. When I asked for a refund for a portion of the tent and/or service fee, she was not willing to and said she is sorry for added stress but she couldn't answer all her customers because they would never get work done. Not a good response in my opinion. Throwing an event is extremely stressful and you need to hire people that are willing to help you that day -- not add more stress. read more

I have rented a Margarita machine from them two years in a row for my birthday. They are always very on top of things and answered any questions I needed. This past year when one of the sides on the duel machine stopped working, they took action an made it right even though they could not fix it. Despite being disappointed that one side did not work, things happen and they really made the effort to follow up with me and make it right. That is what I want from customer service! read more

First off, I'm not a complainer, but I spent almost $500 on tables and chairs for my mother's memorial service. I ordered two tents, 8 tables and about 50 chairs. They were supposed to come between 10-11am on a Friday to drop them off. Here are all the problems I had after: 1. They decided to come at 8:30am to try dropping off, but "nobody came to the door". Well, the thing about doors is, you have to knock or ring the doorbell for someone to answer them. They didn't do either, unless they did it so lightly that it was inaudible to the human ear. Strike 1... they did end up delivering everything, but they didn't set up anything at all. We had asked that the tents be set up and paid a setup fee for this. They did not do this, and when asked about it, Delores said, "they told the delivery guy not to set anything up." Which is simply, not true. 2. I finally get to the house to set everything up the day of my moms memorial, and see that almost every table is broken. Not super broken, but the metal rings that slide up the sides to hold the legs of the table up aren't staying put. The tables are flat out awful looming - old tape stuck to most of the wooden ones and pieces of the wood were even chipped away on a couple. Half of the chairs were wobbly and felt unsafe. 3. The "tents": well, they didn't supply tie downs or anchors to secure the tents to the ground, so I had to drive to Home Depot and buy my own. Rad. Secondly, one of the tent covers didn't even go with the frame provided, so I had to duct tape the damn cover to the frame. Awesome. 4. I called the following Monday to speak with someone about getting a partial refund, because this whole process from the service to the items delivered, to the pickup, was completely awful. I spoke with Delores again, who basically told me "oh well". She said her boss would call me in the next couple days. That was on August 14th. I haven't heard a thing. I wouldn't order anything from this company ever again. This experience, on top of it being my mother's funeral, was horrendous. From the excuses, to the flat out rude and unapologetic way I was talked to. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Horrible. I want my money back. read more

Best thing was that we got our delivery early that allowed us to play with the set up for the event. This place has saved my procrastinating behind for 2 years in a row (last Christmas and this year's Thanksgiving). In each instance, I reserved a dining table/chairs/ linen at the last minute and BOOM, lack of furniture problem Solved. Reserving is a bit tricky because you reserve online (but there's no "pay" screen) and then you receive a call (promptly) to finalize/pay for your rental. If you aren't expecting this method of "Reserving" you might be a little confused. But it works, don't stress. I use white slip on chair covers and bows sashes (from Amazon) and my dining table ended up looking great (see pic). I'm puzzled by the bad reviews here because my experience for 2 years running has been excellent. Give them a try and I think you'll be happy you did. read more

I've used the Party Rental Outlet a few times in the past and the service was OK butt slow to pick up items. This last rental (11/24/17) was a disaster! I rented 5 round tables, 40 WHITE chairs, 5 round white table cloths, and 5 black overlay cloths. What was delivered was 3 round tables, 2 tiny rounds kids tables no more than 14 inches high, 3 white table cloths and 40 BROWN chairs. Because my party was over the Thanksgiving weekend no one answered the phone, so I had to run out and purchase 2 tables, and 2 table cloths. I have called and spoke to someone on the phone numerous times, sent several emails, but still no return call from the owner. I again called twice today and was promised a call tonight (12/4/17) from the owner to discuss a refund. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. I will have to now call my bank and dispute the charges. I suggest you do not do business with this place, and if you do, carefully inspect the dropped off order. BASIC customer service is to return a customers call, especially if they are unsatisfied and feel ripped off, AND spent money out of their own pocket on supplies because the rental company didn't deliver! read more

We had a literally, on-the-day, spur-of-the-moment need for tables and chairs for our son's birthday party. My wife reached out to Party Rental Outlet and, needless to say, much of the preferred (reasonably priced) inventory was gone. IN RESPONSE TO PARTY RENTAL OUTLET'S COMMENTS BELOW: Julie, I would have much rather you called or phoned me almost a year ago when you first learned of my review or shortly after, instead of posting on here almost a year later, and calling me, your business client, a "nightmare". That is frankly, yet again, unprofessional. Secondly, yes, there were changes to my invoice. HOWEVER, I made those changes within YOUR set deadlines. Yet, you say you weren't "prepared for this type of situation"? I don't believe that for a second, especially since my wedding planner and I personally pointed out the changes to you numerous times, again, all changes were made within your deadlines so that you could make the necessary arrangements. Also, if you weren't feeling "prepared", why didn't you ever take the initiative to call me for clarification or at least return my phone calls instead of ignoring me for weeks on end and leaving me hanging until only a few days before the wedding? I think you'd agree that this would have cut out your feelings of being unprepared and my anxiety. I never had a problem with other vendors at my wedding, and can only sing of high praises of them. Speaking of being prepared, you never explained why your associate, Mark, wasn't prepared at my wedding with the chocolate fountain that I "won" from your raffle. Even after all this mess, and even after speaking with him the day before the wedding about the time he was to show up, he still showed up more than 1 hour later than the agreed time, during the middle of the reception, and snuck out after only one hour later, with no notice or apology. Third, please do not bring my personal life into this in order to discredit or downplay the stress I felt from this experience; first, the bar exam had nothing to do with my experience with you. For the record, and as I told you, the bar exam was many months after my wedding, and that is why I chose to have my wedding in advance. Moreover, I really don't feel that you need to publish your client's personal life all over yelp. Period. Again, that is very unprofessional. Just so you know, I've had yelpers personally message me during the last year sharing the same sentiments they had with you, so I know that I am not the first, and I certainly am aware that I was not the last based on other reviews on here. Pros - easy to order, accommodating of last minute orders/changes, very competitive pricing, staff is efficient and friendly Cons - the tables and chairs have seen better days but clean, safe and functional. I could pay more for another service with newer equipment but I'd rather put my money toward better food and drink! Also it took a few days to come pick up the tables and chairs after my event. They were not in the way so it didn't bother us. I can see that this would be an issue if they were in the way. We've used them twice now and will continue to use them. read more

If I could give zero stars I would . I booked tables and chairs with this company a month before my event. I called multiple times to confirm and all three times they had the wrong time , delivery date and items . I went to the actual location and spoke with the owner/manager. He wrote down my order , charged us in full and we walked out thinking we were set to go. Our chairs and tables were supposed to be dropped off between 2-5 pm on a Friday evening . I go to call Friday morning to confirm everything (at this point I didn't trust them), come to find out that they had already dropped off , interrupted a business and class and completely failed with our delivery estimated drop off time. Then , I call and the receptionist (who was new) had no clue about the issue and had written down the actual pick up time for the drop off time. Now I don't know where the communication failed and who failed to communicate effectively but I will say I will never recommend or refer this company to any friend , school or acquaintance . Pick up time was scheduled for a Monday between 8-10 AM . Once again to ensure that the puck up wouldn't disrupt class. I get a call at 4 pm that day saying they forgot out pick up. As a business , I don't understand how you can fail that many times with one task and order? Very concerning . Horrible service , ride receptionist and poor communication.
