C&C Construction just completed our kitchen, pantry, guest bath, and master bathroom makeovers. Prior to contracting with C&C we did our due diligence and met with several contractors and secured several bids. What stood out with C&C is that we met with the owner, Joe, and not a sales representative. Joe listened to what we were hoping to achieve and offered suggestions. He invited us to tour his manufacturing facility were his team custom makes all the cabinets. The actual showroom is very small but has samples of all cabinet types and countertops you would need. The manufacturing facility is huge. That is what really impressed us. We wanted a white cabinet and Joe suggested and alabaster which is a softer white. I was concerned it would be too beige but was able to see a very large competed cabinet in his plant which confirmed we made the right choice. Joe was able to make the cabinets so that they would fit perfectly in our kitchen with as little fillers as possible. Remember you need fillers to open cabinets etc., but excessive fillers just waste space.
The entire construction process went very smoothly. All the trades i.e. electricians, demo, installers, carpenters, etc. were extremely professional and high skilled. Not once was I uncomfortable with any of the many workers in our home. The were not only respectful of us but also our home.
Of course, with any construction job there will be hiccups. Please anticipate something not going as planned as this is a natural occurrence with any type of residential or commercial construction. The difference in companies is how the hiccups are handled. Whenever I had an issue, I called Susan at the office and she immediately spoke to Joe, the owner. Either Susan or Joe got back to me immediately with a more than reasonable solution. That's the difference between a good contractor and a bad one.
Also, we had a deadline as we were expecting company. Always give contractors wiggle room as you never know if they open a box and a sink is dented or your countertops get dinged during transport. Stuff does happen! Joe was conscious of our pending company and met all deadlines we shared. At no time did I worry that the job would not be done.
Also, there were no sub-contractors involved. All involved worked for C&C Construction and had nothing but praises for the company and all their fellow employees.
