After one month he determined it was the computer board and said he needed the money up front to pay for the board, which I did but after the first one not working, he ordered another one which also did not work. Now he tells me that the transmission had to be changed, he said he needed $3000 for a new one and when my wife delivered the money, she asked him if that was out the door, which means no other coasts installed and the truck running. The new transmission was installed by the third month, when asked what else he had to do he replied just had to install the drive shaft (maybe 2 0r 3 hours) and install the shift cables and that I should be driving it by next week. June July and august go by with me calling every week and sometimes twice a week I was getting the same excuse I will be driving it next. week This truck I bought for my granddaughter who needed transportation to her high school internship but because the truck was and still is not ready, she was forced to empty her savings account to buy just any form of transportation. The Friday before thanksgiving i went to the shop to see for myself what was left to be done, this is where I found the truck still up on the lift where it was from day one the drive shaft leaning against the wall collecting dust was my drive shaft untouched. again, I asked him this time in person when it would be done, he assured me that I would be driving it next week, I revisited him two weeks after thanksgiving and everything was exactly the same. Now we are into January still calling every week he now informs me that he has to send the drive shaft out to be lengthen because the ne transmission was shorter than the original one he got that back in a week but not installed. The next week in informed me that the drive shaft had to be resent out to be lengthen it seem the piece he put in was measured wrong and now had to shorten. I asked him would was doing the measuring was it Ray Charles. He said no it was him. I have no confidence that this drive shaft will hold up. By this time, we are now into February one year later and still no truck. after reading the reviews not only is he taken advantage of the elderly and disabled veterans but people of all ages. For the life of me I don't understand how someone in this business can tie up their lift for 14 months that's right 14 months and still no truck it can't be the money because I paid for everything up front in full. he says that he is going to get it done but when asked when no answer I said to him I hope I get it back why i am still able to drive. From most of the reviews I've read this is his SOP hold the vehicle hostage and then wants to charge you more money or replace parts with lesser quality products. I have not had a chance to examine my truck to see if anything else is broken or missing or changed out. he doesn't even desire one star

Tony answered the phone gave me a price over the phone to rebuild the transmission which I thought was a very fair price and let me send the truck there right from where it broke down. He was a pleasure to work with through the whole process and got my truck on the road in no time. This is a heavy duty commercial pickup truck, it's used daily for heavy hauling and takes a lot of load and hard use. It's been about a year now and 30,000 miles since Roccos did my transmission and it is still shifting as smooth as when it was first done even with all of the heavy work. A few months ago there was a slight rough shift on one of the gears and I took the truck there. It was a leak in the line which was not related to rebuilding the transmission. Tony fix the leak in a few minutes and topped off the transmission fluid at no charge, which is highly unusual and was super nice of him. I would recommend Rocco's to anyone as it's one of the best vehicle Related experiences I have had

Hmmm must be some personal nonsense being taken out from behind a screen...but anyways onto the more pressing matter... Tim and his son Junior are probably by the far the most stand up guys around. Its true there are honest mechanics around who actually know what the hell they're doing and stand behind it! I know believe it... They have done some beyond amazing work on my 06 Rubicon. If your looking for lift for your 4x4 toys look no further. And thats just a taste of what these guys can do for your vehicle. Their shop is equipped with the best equipment there is to get the job done right. Their work is flawless and Ive had the pleasure to watch these guys in action, and their attention to detail seems as though they are cranking wrenches on their own rides which was very comforting. I brought my 24 jeep gladiator there for accident repair, The front rim needed to be replaced & the…read morewhole side panel needed to be repainted, So the Owner George adds everything up, EMBLEMS and all, So i get the vehicle back, No valve stem caps on the replaced wheel, So i call up n explain the situation, Ladys like oh stop by we will give u caps, Note its completely out of my way, So I go to Oreilys instead, Couple days go by I notice the Drivers side emblems not there, So now Im pissed, I call the Jeep dealer for shits n giggles n ask how much the emblem is, They say $125 then I call Georges back, Im like yeah you guys forgot a $125 emblem where is it, They go one minute we will find it, So she says its here come down we will install it & we got valve step caps here too for you, So I go down there say I'm all set w the caps if you'd care they'd be on the vehicle, The Tech comes out n says Im so sorry I forgot, I thought it went on the hood (NOTE IDENTICAL TO THE PASSENGER SIDE) so I left it off, Ive went to Georges for years n never had any issues, I told George very nicely man no affence if your letting vehicles out like this you got issues

They had me drop off the car after hours and were very accommodating. I had to get my rear passenger door replaced. It took 4 weeks, which to me is a little longer than what I've been told. I think 2-3 weeks is more average, but the insurance company paid for the rental so it didn't matter. Other than that, the process was very streamlined and easy. And my car came back to me cleaner with a perfect door!
