I used to love c&c but their quality is going down hill. I used to get a basic pedicure , and decided to splurge for a higher level pedicure. I timed the pedicure and it was the same as the basic. No added massage, no mud mask, nothing. Then they still tried to charge me for the longer pedicure. May need to find a new nail spot. I was given a recommendation to come to this salon. I was thrilled that they were willing to do my nails so close to closing time. However they took quite a while to complete them. Some nails were crooked and it was driving me CRAZY, I couldn't wait to go someplace else to get them fixed. In the picture you can see that the gel on my thumb nail chipped after just one day, and it continued to chip as well as all of my finger tips on that hand. I've been coming to this establishment for several years. They are all pleasant and although they do communicate between each other -I don't mind - they are obviously enjoying being at work. Many places - the nail tech do not appear happy or even ready willing to do their work. This salon has the most pleasant technicians and owners. I have NEVER had a bad experience and I frequent typically every two weeks to get my nails done and a pedicure. For those that complain on here - you should have opened your mouths during the "service" in order to allow owner to rectify if in fact there was a true issue. I always think mail places are given the hardest reviews! This place became my staple after I gambled with them to do my wedding day nails as well as my bridal parties. The owner was super accommodating and frequently texted my maid of honor beforehand to get an idea of who would need acrylics , nail art, etc so he could have to proper staff day of! We were treated wonderfully and they handled my 5 year old flower girl with such grace. Everyone loved their nails and they had us all done within about two hours which is amazing. The best part is that we were all worked on almost at the same time so no one was waiting around for too long. At the end I was given a gift certificate because we spent well over $300 there and that was a nice touch! I have personally been back two times since March and I'm in love with this place! My mom also switched and comes here to! Thank you guys so much for taking such great care of all of us! read more

I have reviewed C & C before, I had a bad pedi experience but that has been forgiven. I will never get my nails filled in by anyone BUT C & C nails from now on. I do not care the wait. These nails do not budge. I've been to other salons in Livonia and nails start lifting after a week. I have gone 3 weeks without a fill in with C & C and none of them are close to budging. I have very strong healthy nails and always get dip. I went here for the first time with my daughter and within 2 day my nails were chipping. My own nails did not break - the top coat literally started peeling off. I do not type on a keyboard, I do not have a job that requires manual labor or wash my hands excessively. I always go to the mall at Twelve Oaks and they do a fantastic job. I am so disappointed in the quality and even went back to show them. They do not offer any type of refund and said it was my fault. Horrible place can't do pedicures! Girl get mad at me because I say one of my big toes is bigger than the other! They was tough in there talking to me crazy, yelling at me! Quality of work and customer service is awful. Service requested was not done properly. I'm a fairly patient person, but customer service was unacceptable. Nail tech was disrespectful, laughed at me when I asked for him to fix it or comp me in someway. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone..unless you want to pay for what you didn't ask for. I was a loyal customer to her and followed her to every salon she moved to. Ever since she opened her new business ( C&C nails) her attitude completely changed!!!! She became RUDE and seemed very irritable. SHE CANCELED MY APPT ON ME THE MORNING OF MY APPT which mind you was booked 2 weeks in advance! She said it was due to her not feeling good and wouldn't be at the salon. Later on that evening she sent me a text message saying she didn't want to do my nails anymore & recommended I go to someone "better than her" but thanked me for being her "customer" Confused as to WHY she did this CONSIDERING she's the one who canceled on me! I was a great customer and TIPPED her even better! She clearly doesn't know what loyalty is and is possibly the WORST business owner! I will NEVER go to this salon ever again! The materials they use are CHEAP and my nails were suddenly chipping 3 days after my manicure (I use shellac so normally they last about 2 weeks!) They DO NOT appreciate your business! My experience here was awful, and i don't suggest visiting this location. The nail tech i had do my nails and toes was kind, however he wasn't experienced. My toes have chips in them, and they weren't fully dried. He quickly moved me out of the seat i was sitting in to another seat, with no way to dry my nails properly. I reentered the storefront to see if i could get my nails done correctly, they made me sit in the waiting room rather then fixing my nails. I ended up leaving without my nails being fixed. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot give 10-finger "jazz-like" hands for C&C, despite it's impeccable choice in initials. My mom and I popped in right at opening time (10am) on Friday, and were greeted warmly. We had to wait about 10 minutes for some of the other techs to show up (no biggie). Their color selection is messy and crusty. No essie!? The humanity. Scant OPI. Most is off-brand, which I do not trust! I finally found some OPI colors that worked, but by no means did I feel hip to the new summer colors. A gentleman sat down to start my pedicure, and the whole thing just felt a bit haphazard. Not spa-like. But passable. The massage chair was AOK. Ellen Show was on. I can get on board. The real crime here? The manicure. Ick. My nails were all misshapen, weirdly square with strange edges, and the paint shellacked on too thick, and over my cuticles. Not awesome, not awesome at all! $35 + tip for the combo + had to buy a new $8 nail file at Target to fix my poor fingers. Not impressed. I do think it depends on who you get, my mom's nails looked totally great and her gal was a bit more...diligent. read more

Went in to have one nail repaired and shellac removed. The nail tech fixed the nail and moves me to have the polish dry and a different tech finish the job. She applies top coat and I let her know the rest of my nails still haven't been done. They have me sit there ten full minutes with no one saying anything to me. I then get told "YOU DONE!".. simple misunderstanding, right? Wrong! After again explaining what I came in for I get told I'm wrong, that's not what I asked for... I say "ok... I guess I'll go..." I begin to leave and get yelled at that I owe $3... wow. Take an extra minute to drive down to Wonder Nails, they have fantastic customer service and do a beautiful job! Waited three and a half hours with a grand total of six customers over the entire duration and a decent amount of staff. The only person who apologized for my wait was the nice younger girl. Left with polish all over my toes and uneven nails. There was curly black hair floating in the pedicure water, which was barely warm. There is nail dust on everything in there. Didn't see anything get cleaned. One person spoke up about the wait time and she received no apology and they were irritated with her for speaking up. Almost walked out ten times. I've been here twice now. The first time I got a pedicure and manicure, which were both my first (9/24/11). While getting my pedicure done, the tech got a little over zealous with the nail sander block and took of a portion of my big toes skin just above the nail...later she poured on the cuticle remover and my toe felt like it had been lit on fire! I had requested that they paint flowers on my big toes and big fingers that matched a dress for a wedding (I brought a color sample to match), however the nail tech disreguarded my request and did what she wanted on my big toes for the design. While the design was unique, because directions were not followed my thumbs and big toes did not match at all. Also the manicure was destroyed just the next day, so I paid $55, plus tip for something that lasted less than 24 hours. I decided to give them another shot, this time the gentleman that works there did just a manicure, I had this completed on 10/8. The same day it was done there were already bubbles under the nails and the next day all of the nails except for the thumbs had bubbled, come away from the nails, and popped off. So I spent $22 plus tips for something that yet again, lasted less than 24 hours. Overall, while their free hand designs are pretty cool looking, they don't listen to what the customer wants and their work lasts less than 24 hours. While they looked nice for the first hour, I would not recommend you waste your money there unless you only need pretty nails for an hour or so. read more

My big toe was cut crooked, my cuticle was cut and started bleeding, and I had to touch up my manicure while drying because it wasn't fully painted! The only reason that I gave one star is because I had to leave a star in order to write the review otherwise, ZERO STAR BUSINESS. I should have known what the service was going to be like when I walked through the front door and saw dirty carpet, desperately I stayed. I received a pedicure and Shellac Polish change. The Pedicure was alright, regular polish used. My Shellac nails on the other hand were a disaster. The Shellac started peeling the very next day. I went back to the shop and they did fix the two nails that were peeling and blamed it on the fact that I had Shellac put on to my real nails instead of a acrylic overlay. I have never added acrylic to my nails before and this is the first time that the Shellac continued to peel. One day later I called back explained that this was the second time in three days that the Shellac peeled. I went back on a Monday, the lady told me to come back tomorrow... I did, and the shop was closed on Tuesday... heated. Called back Wednesday and kindly asked for a refund as the business has now charged my credit card for a service that was not rendered. They stated "no refund, come in so that we can fix you nails." Four attempts to receive the service that I paid for. Gas spent going back and forth would have paid for me to go somewhere more professional with a higher quality of polish. Please don't waste your money. This is the type of business that you walk by, look in and keep on moving. These reviews are real!! read more

This was my third time here and I won't be back! My first visit I decided to treat myself to a full set of acrylic nails. The length was fine but they were so thick and very uneven, I ended up at Sally's to get nail files and buffers. The second time I needed a pink fill in and a manicure, the girl was very sweet but 7 out of 10 cuticles ended up bleeding for the rest of the day. OUCH! Third times the charm, right? I tell the guy I wanted a pink and white fill... also do not file the sides! He gave me only a pink fill and filed the sides so unevenly they look completely rediculas! I will never go back!
