Honestly one of the worst manicures I've ever had. It seemed like some of the techs in their were knowledgeable but mine just wasn't. 1.) the way he filed my nails split them. It was messy and not professional. 2.) he was not going to remove all of my former manicure color, had to tell him multiple times red was still on my nails from my last manicure and continued to paint and put under UV lamp. I am not someone to usually say something but finally I said sir there is still red on my nails please redo. From there he gave me attitude. All I wanted was for there not to be spots under my brand new polish.... 3.) did not cure my shellac polish for more than 30 seconds each time. 4.) paint color and application is so uneven, even left little un-filed globs in the corner of my nails. Listen, credit is due to everyone that works here. I've been a regular for about 2yrs and I've had every tech with the exception one 1 or 2. At first when I started coming they introduced me to dip powder and I haven't gotten shellac since, except for my pedicures. A couple of times it was lumpy, one day my shellac peeled off on day 2 just before my vacation. Although, when I called my concerns were addressed immediately by the owner and he was apologetic. Today, the same tech did my pedicure and OMG this man has improved soo much which is why I decided to write this review. I am so proud of him and I'm impressed! The shape is great and he didn't layer it too thick so it's perfect! They have a huge range of colors for both shellac and dip powder. The staff is great, they're friendly and respect your time. If they are too busy they have no problem accommodating you on a different day. Also, they are really honest about the wait time if you do not have an appointment. I can be picky, and my hands are seen a lot with the work that I do. I always receive compliments about my nails, and look forward to this part of my "self care" routine. read more

I did alot of search Google for nail spots in my area. I ready plenty of reviews and I came to nice nails. I read so many great reviews for Dewy, husband and wife nail spot. I would've given a 0 if I could. I got my nails done here the day before leaving on vacation. 2 of my nails fell off the day of my trip and the rest came off within 5 days of getting them done. They wouldn't give me a refund or the option of them redoing them. Mind you I was out of the country from the 25th of July to the 4th of August. The guy said there was nothing to do since I didn't come in when the nails fell off. How am I supposed to do that while I'm out of the country?! He was rude and I always went to them for the durability of the nails. Not anymore. I spend over 100 dollars everytime I go there. This is how they treat their good customers. Used to be my favorite place way back when, however they changed ownership and the three new people don't have a clue. They cut my boyfriends foot doing a pedicure, gashed it open then proceeded to dump acetone on it. Heard multiple people in the waiting area complaining about how they don't know what they are doing. The place was ok but service not so much. I got a gel Manicure for $30.00 they should last at least two weeks mine completely lifted in four days! I didn't make it one full week... I just received a basic pedicure and it was so basic I barely can tell I got a pedicure! The staff was pretty dry but the work I had today was horrible! My heels feel no different nor look any different from when I came in the door! The lady I had clipped my toenails so short that one of big toes nails split on the side and now it looks like I have half of a toenail! She also cut all my small toenails shorter than my likings and just shaped them any kind of way! This was my first time in here and this most definitely will be my last! I was running behind so I had to miss my appointment at my regular shop out near macomb mall so I just settled for a shop that was in the area that I was in! I'm currently still here so I will write a review about my nails! But my toes for sure imma have to go home and go over my heels there! My feet actually looked worse than they did before I walked in the door smh! Oh and her name was Tina! Now onto my nails! I had Tony! Which the way he does he nails seems as if he is new! He didn't lay the acrylic smooth so he let rubbing it! My main complaint with him is the fact that he coffin shaped my nails without asking! I don't have tips these are my nails! So, after shaping my right hand, he comes to tell me that she shaped my nails coffin like and was that ok? I said NO because I hate coffin shape and I only like square nails smh! So I told him to not do my left hand like that I be de damned if he did it anyways smh! Like how can you shape someone nails the way you want them to be shaped? Now imma have to just cut my nails off and start over grouping them because Tony decided to do what he pleased smh! if i could warn any female about this place! do not come here at all! they cut my fingers with drills, acted like they cut my cuticle and they said they couldnt do what i wanted which was 3d art bc they didnt want to. so they made me settle for stickers! and then had the nerve to charge me $5 per sticker, lol you wanna know how small these stickers are, not even a 1mm big. theu also did my friends and charged me for shellc even tho my friend never asked for shellac. not only that but we spent 3 hrs in this place, youd think " oh she must have spent a long time on them" lololol no, she stopped muti times to help a whole different customers and left me just sitting there. had to stop again to clean her area bc tht was so much more important. not only tht but she didnt fill in the stars on my friemds nails, and they look like patrick star stars plus my own nail is crooked. this was the 1st and last time i will ever come here. plus her rasist employees who had the nerve to try to say they were closed n tht we had to leave bc we had a problem with what they charged us with bc we didnt ask for tht ( which they charged 133.00, i expected 90, 100... not 133.00, plus they were open anotheer hour as they have their empolyee telling us to leave. never the fuck again will i ever come back here to these money hungry people, uncaring about their customers, never ever again. read more

Nice Nails on Ford Rd in Westland is NO GOOD! Unless you get the nice man that works there...You're screwed. I quit going there to get my nails done because the man (I think his name is Dewey) is always busy. I tried a few different ladies but they all have a bad attitude. However, they did an AWESOME Job on eyebrows. Well, not anymore! Went there today & she ripped half my left eyebrow off, thinned out my brows pencil thin & wouldn't let me see the handheld mirror to look at them! She kept saying, "Alright, you done!" I asked, more sternly, "Please hand me the mirror!" She quickly grabbed an eyebrow pencil & tried to draw in my eyebrow on the left side! I hopped off the table and looked in the mirror.
