On the dealer report, it indicated that aftermarket products were put into the vehicle. The dealership was going to charge the same amount that I had already paid A-1. I ended up taking my truck back to A-1, and they denied it until I shared the report with them. They ended up having to repair the vehicle again. Yes, they fixed it, and put the correct parts on it, but no, I will not be returning. I guess they're honest, depending on who they're dealing with.

My Camry had a no-start issue, and instead of trying to sell me a starter or some expensive repair like less honest mechanics might have done, Sherman took the time to properly diagnose the problem and found that a connector wasn't plugged in correctly. He fixed it quickly and had the car running again. On my Impala, he completed an oil change and repaired my cigarette lighter outlets, which had been damaged by an overpowered device that had melted part of the circuit. Everything is working properly now. He arrived on time, was professional from start to finish, explained everything clearly, and charged a very fair price. He even followed up by sending me a PDF with diagnostic codes and a detailed list of recommended maintenance items for future service. I called them and they told me to bring it in, to see if they had missed something or something was left undone. my husband was at the Taco Bell and we asked for a tow truck, they said okay, but if it was their fault we wouldn't have to pay for it but, if it was something else other than what they were fixing, we'd have to pay the towing. the owing fee was $150... from Taco Bell, to the shop. it wasn't even that far. my husband ended up asking help to push the car. we get a call the next day, that the car is ready. we come in, they said "alright, take it". didn't get charged or get any explanation. second incident, my husband brings in his 2015 Chevy Silverado. it needs breaks changed on all 4. tell me why it's $2,000 ?? what do we do, we bring all the parts. the brakes and brake pads and router, and caliber. just for the labor it was $700? which is crazy, cause my husband kept going back and forth with them. they kept telling him they weren't the right breaks, or pads, and my husband comes to talk to the machanic and he's like "oh sorry, we haven't even opened the boxes or looked at them" NEVERMIND, $680 to change one set of breaks, router and caliber. FUCKING CRAZY. I'm sorry but, they need better communication skills, and they take sooo long to get things done.
