Awesome stop for late lunch !!! Burgers were awesome and good . Well worth the trip today.

My omelette, scrapple, and English muffin
    Sandy M.

We were looking for a breakfast and found this gem on Yelp. When we stopped in there was no one else in the restaurant , it was late for breakfast me early for lunch. A cute little place with country decor, it was spotless! It was very charming inside, maybe 10 tables. The menu was great- lots of choices, and fairly priced. I selected a ham and cheese omelette with a side of scrapple (!). My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. The food came out piping hot, and cooked exactly as I asked. The omelette was too hot to eat, that's how fast it came out, and the scrapple thin and very crisp. Absolutely delicious ! My husbands sandwich was very generously filled with eggs, sausage and cheese. The potatoes were great, as was my English muffin. Oh, the coffee was good as well. We enjoyed our meal very much, the owner and chef was great, as was our waitress who may have been his wife.. If we lived close we'd be at this spot all the time. It is a very modest family establishment with great food. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

    Italian hoagie

Stopped in on a weekday for lunch with three other coworkers. None of us had ever been but the reviews were good. I happened to message them the day before to ask if I needed reservations and they messaged me back promptly saying they should have room. Outside was unassuming, as was the inside, both were very clean. A handful of diners were present when we walked in, so we had our choice of a few tables. Upon sitting we were given menus and greeted promptly, drink orders were taken and they came out quickly. Our food orders didn't take long, so we were eating in no time. I ordered an Italian hoagie and side of fries-hoagie was good, fries were dynamite! I highly recommend them, as did my co-diners. My guests enjoyed the cheeseburger, onion rings, and other sandwiches. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely return!

This restaurant was amazing! The two person staff made us feel at home, made sure we were taken care of, and the food was phenomenal.

    222 with French toast. $6.95

This is a small town restaurant with about 20-25 seats total. We lucked out and parked on the street right in front. I'm not sure where else to park since it's downtown. There is a church parking lot across the street, but I'm not sure if its OK to park there. Very small, be ready to snuggle with patrons eating at the same time. We came by for breakfast and when we arrived there was a couple eating. It was 5 of us. The menu has all the good breakfast foods. The 222 has 2 eggs, pancakes, and bacon or sausage. I got scrapple instead. $6.95 awesome. The pancakes were tender, unlike some of the tough pancakes I've had at other breakfast spots. Eggs were cooked perfect, and the scrapple was crispy outside and soft on the inside. Other dishes had very good French toast with just the right amount of cinnamon. I saw a few Uber eats guys come in and out, so that is a popular option. I want to go back and try a dinner entree to see how they are. I recommend this place . There were 5 of us for breakfast, and the bill came to $33. Great for the frugal eaters that like homemade food.

    Awesome big bowl of chili!

All 3 couples inside came because of Yelp reviews and it was Right On. Small mom and pop joint that actually cooks the food from scratch. Service is slower because of this and THAT is a Good Thing! Portions were Huge and the flavor was spot on! Chili was absolutely perfect to me, too!

    Buffalo chicken cheesesteak and fries

Very good local spot, I found this on yelp and thought I'd give it a try as I was passing through, had a buffalo chicken cheesesteak and fries and it did not disappoint, its tasted like it was on a Liscio's roll would definitely come back, I love supporting mom and pops,

The biscuits and gravy and home fries are made to order and very good!

Outstanding food at a great price. The catfish was a slam dunk. I also enjoyed the old bay fries.

We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately, which set the tone for a relaxed and welcoming evening. We started with the baked oysters, foie gras and bone marrow appetizers--both were absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. For dinner, my wife had the sword fish, I had the veal chop, and my son had the seafood gumbo. Each dish was incredible, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. We finished the night with the crème brûlée, which was prepared to perfection and was the perfect ending to a memorable meal. The entire staff was A+ across the board, including owner/exec chef Doug and his lovely wife Jenn, who clearly care deeply about both the food and the guest experience. Don't let the quaint town of St. Michaels fool you--this gem is absolutely worth the visit.

It was very busy when we dined in Friday night. We sat at the chef's counter. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the shrimp and grits, and I had the arugula and cucumber salad. My husband ordered the steak frites. Everything was delicious. I had a bite of my husband steak and it was cooked perfectly. We both really loved the sauce they served with the fries. Slew returned Sunday morning for brunch and shared the shrimp and grits, because we enjoyed them so much at dinner. My husband did the brunch burger and I had the bistro salad. We also did the bubbles board. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. We left with boxes and after each meal. We will definitely be back on our next trip to St. Michael's. I'm not sure about parking because we stay on our boat at the marina which is a short talk away.
