Needless to say when my daughter was graduating from high school, I wanted to gift her her first Hawaiian bracelet. The first place that I thought of was Paul Armbruster Goldsmith. We went in for a fitting to measure her wrist, and he custom designed a beautiful bracelet to her specifications. He was able to complete the bracelet on time so I had it before her graduation. When she got it for her graduation, she was absolutely thrilled! You can't beat his quality.

The other shop gave me weird vibes, so I decided to give Elson's a try since everyone in the reviews had nothing but positive things to say. I emailed them in the morning and decided to call as well to check if they take walk-in repairs. The person I spoke with happened to be the owner's brother and they said yes, just come on down--so I did just that! I was welcomed in by Elson Jr., the owner's brother and person I spoke with on the phone, and he told me they could repair the chain for $50 and get it done in about 30 minutes. Good deal in my opinion! So I waited in the store and not even 15 minutes later, the chain was repaired *AND* Elson said they cleaned it! Highly, highly recommend these guys for jewelry repairs if you live near ʻAiea or even if you can drive in from elsewhere on Oʻahu. He walked me through the customization process if I also wanted to do a custom ring in the future and also wrote down the ring size I looked at and other size chain I was considering so I have something to refer to.
