Actually Two pieces one being a very small piece just under the license plate. It had gotten bumped and slightly scratched after the initial damage which would have been more of a bummer except that I knew we were getting a new bumper with the repair. It would have been way professional of Miller to inform us and offer to add the part at our expense for said part knowing that the entire bumper need to be retaken off to replace it and so now want to charge extra labor cost to replace. It would have been very appreciated to get informed ahead of time. Since they obviously knew. We now have a brand new bumper with a scuff in the middle. I know now that not all bumpers are one piece.

The car only need about $5000 worth of work and a spoiler added to the rear trunk. I told Josh to take his time and there was no time limit to get the car back. I returned back to my duty location in Fort Bliss, Texas in El Paso, Texas. It took him 9 months to fix what would take just 4 days to fix. I had to check in with this con artist at least 3 times a month to see where he was at. Each time he would say he is waiting on the parts to come in and he would start on it. So I grew tired of his excuses and I helped to expedite the situation. I bought the parts straight from the dealer to help him when I was in Dayton. I spent money straight out of my pocket so he wouldn't have to have any more excuses. Finally after 4 months and a surprise visit he started on the car. Needless to say he had already installed the after market rear spoiler and it was hideous and atrocious. There was paint runs everywhere and mixed paints. I was livid and he promised to correct them. It would be another 2 months before I could return back to Dayton and still the car wasn't done. The excuse this time was that he was waiting on a radiator to come in. Finally after 8 months I flew in and visited him with yet another surprise I told him to finish up and I was taking the car to the dealership and have it finished out of pocket. He was a little shocked and begged to finish the car. So out of stupidity on my behalf I let him keep the car and I would pick it up in 30 days finished. On the 30th day, I arrived to pick up the car and it was completed but the car looked like it had been completed by a high school teenager. There was over spraying on the engine, even inside of the car which pissed me off beyond words and to top it off the radiator was missing the cap. After all that this clown had the audacity to ask for $2200 for the lousy work he did. I was pissed and paid it and after 30 minutes of walking out of the office I cancelled it through my bank. I then had the car transported to local Nissan dealership. After a day the service manager called me and he laughed because the body shop had never seen such work so shoddy. But here is the highlight of the review. After I took the car to the dealership, they found something in the trunk of the car. They found a bag of marijuana and called the police because of it. Fortunately for me I had never touched the car and they traced the fingerprints back to one of the workers from Josh's auto body that was later fired I assume. Either way I almost lost my car over these worthless clowns and I had to was lucky for the court to throw this out because of my military career. The moral of the story is DO NOT take your car here. If you value your life, money, sanity, and your morals do not take your car here. You will get taken and worse you might lose your car. This guy does business with a lot of drug dealers and they keep him in business. Go somewhere else.

You get what you pay for…read more I spent $25,000 dollars of work restoring a barn find car. And agreed to everything they recommended needed attention. Upon picking up the car. The brake caliper failed a day later and had to be towed back. Expectedly I was angry, flukes happen and I get it but the failure happened on a part that is responsible to my safety. Even though I lost my temper at Dalton, he didn't yell back rather kept his composure and said he would prioritize my issue. Later that day Ricky the manager from Foreign Exchange gave me a call back apologized and accepted responsibility for the parts failure at no charge to me. THIS!!! Is what I look for in a mechanic! Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone stands behind their work and makes sure that you have a good customer experience getting things right. I will continue to do business with Foreign Exchange because they prioritize professionalism, believe in the quality of their work and when things go awry they warranty their work instead of putting the onus back on you.

After contacting State Farm, it took a week or so for State Farm to evaluate the claim and confirm…read morethat their insured driver was responsible for the collision. They eventually agreed that their insured was responsible. State Farm told me verbally that one of their approved local body shops would be the best choice for the collision repair because the repair of an approved shop is 'guaranteed'. State Farm sent me a list of their approved shops. I called several body shops from the list State Farm provided near my home and work. I chose Liberty Collision for the repair because they were able to provide an estimate on the repair before the others. I dropped the car off at Liberty Collision and picked it back up four or five days later. Several days after I received the vehicle back from Liberty Collision I inspected the area of repair. It was obvious that many fasteners were missing from the repaired area. So I disassembled the repaired area of the vehicle. I found that there were more missing fasteners and the sheet metal that had been damaged had not been completely repaired. The sheet metal was still bent and there were areas of bare metal that would be subject to corrosion if left bare. I made a list of missing fasteners and went to the Honda dealer to purchase the missing fasteners so that I could reassemble the vehicle after I touched up the bare metal. I took photos of the incomplete repair. Then I touched up the bare metal and reassembled the vehicle. I gathered the receipts and photos together and sent them to the manager of the Liberty Collision location that botched the vehicle repair. He said yeah, that is not good. Let me call my boss in Columbus OH (Collision Right) to arrange for reimbursement. Reimbursement did not come after a few weeks wait. So I contacted State Farm to inquire about that 'guaranteed repair' policy. I sent State Farm photos and asked for someone to contact me. No one ever did, so I attempted to call State Farm. The State Farm representative I spoke to told me she was going to forward me to the person responsible for the claim. The line rang and I get a voice mail prompt to leave a message for a door dash driver. Good one Jake... My next step - contact the Ohio Department of Insurance and file a complaint against State Farm. https://gateway.insurance.ohio.gov/UI/ODI.CS.Public.UI/Complaint.mvc/DisplayConsumerComplaintForm That worked. I was finally reimbursed, for fixing my own car, 4 months after the repair.
